I re-installed the printer (photosmart all-in-one B209a) and I get a message every time I try to access the center of solution that my printer is not completely installed. In addition, the HP does not appear in my program menu. Help!

    Hello Gordon,.

I want to thank you for all your help. It has been very frustrating for me to not be able to solve this problem. However, with your help, I learned a little. As I mentioned previously, I am not savvy in computer science.

The installation that I downloaded from the HP site seems to be useless. Fortunately, I found my installation CD and was able to successfully install it with the CD. I now have my rear HP Solution Center, and everything seems to work well. No message more that it has not been installed correctly or the pilot is missing.

I did however, buy another printer. So I have now two printers. If I am given the penalty, I can use the other until I understand what could be the problem.

    Once again, thanks a lot.

  • HP Solution Center says that my officejet is disconnected

I have a HP Officejet J6480.  It is connected to my computer via USB.  It prints very well.  However, when I go to the HP Solution Center to scan a document to a file, the solution Center HP said the printer is DISCONNECTED.  I downloaded the HP printer doctor and he ran.  He said that everything was OK and he managed to scan a document to a file.  But the HP Solution Center still indicates that the printer is disconnected.  Also, when I try to scan to a document from the printer itself by using the buttons on it, it says there is no computer linked to it.  I downloaded and reinstalled HP Solution Center, but still get the message that my printer is DISCONNECTED.  Any suggestions on how I can get it to recognize the printer?  I have Windows 8.1.

Jamieson, thanks for the reply.  I think I found my problem.  It seems that the USB connection I was using is flaky.  When I did my installation using the wireless connection, it worked fine and all the features - printing, scanning, copying work very well.

At this point, I would go to start > all programs > Hewlett-Packard > [your printer model] > uninstall and uninstall all HP software.

    Restart your PC.

Download the latest version of the software for your printer from the "Support & drivers" link at the top of this page and install it, choose a type of installation of 'Network' when asked.

  • Why the HP Solution Center will not find the printer and then closing?

I reinstalled the HP Solution Center Suite software for my Officejet Pro L7590 (all-in-one) on my wife's computer and was able to print but the solution center not working anymore.  Then, I connected the printer to the network and the driver/software installed on my computer.  I am able to print as well, but when I open the Solution Center it says "Products HP undetected" and then closes.  I have Windows XP Pro on two computers and before that I did a reinstall of the software on my wife's computer, everything worked well.  Where should I go from here?

Thanks for the Document of all possible solutions.  What I found was the "Digital Imaging Monitor" wasn't not and by going to the directory C:\Program Files\HP\Document Imaging\Bin and find the run file hpqtra08.exe, clicking on that and pressing the key ENTRY, the digital imaging monitor started and the icon popped up in the projection of bar good lower program that it is running.  Once who was running, I was able to open the HP Solution Center to my scanner, etc.

The only problem I had was when I restarted my computer, the Document Imaging Monitor does not open and the icon show up in the lower right of the bar program.  So this time I went in the directory C:\Program HP Imaging\Bin, click once on the file hpqtra08.exe , then created and right click a shortcut icon on my desktop for this run.  Now, whenever I need to use the HP Solution Center I double-click on the icon that I created that starts the digital imaging monitor and then I am able to open the HP Solution Center.

Of course, there is a defect in the installation but I reinstalled the program 3 times without success so I'll stick with manually from the digital imaging monitor, because I know it works.

    3. Select the HP folder
    4. Select your HP Officejet

    4. Select the "delete" button on your keyboard. The Temp folder contains the temporary internet files. None of the actual files or folders on your computer will be affected by deleting Temp files. A Temp file should you will automatically get the pop up to 'jump' this point.
    5. Close the Temp folder when it is empty
    6. Right-click the recycling bin on your desktop and select empty recycling bin

    Step 3: Reinstall the drivers:

    1. Please click here to install the drivers for your computer
    2. Once the site opens click on the download button at the top left

  • HP Solution Center can't find the printer.

I have a C280 and Windows Vista. I worked OK. for years. Now the HP Solution Center would not find the printer. I tried to reinstall the printer, but the problem doesn't go away. I reinstalled Windows Vista and the printer does not have a solution. To reinstall the printer, I used the cd that came with the printer and I also downloaded the drivers for HP Web site.

I can print and make copies, but I can't get a file after scanning a document or a picture.

    I'd appreciate any help.

You can try a reinstall of the software HP Solution itself, rather than just the printer drivers.
