[SOLVED] Double modern screen

Hello!

How to use the modern Interface on a double screen? I would like to have Internet Explorer on a video on the screen on the right and the left. But I always get this old fashioned desktop on one of the two.

How can I get rid of the stupid Office?

It is impossible natively in Windows 8.

The http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-8/multiple-monitors website States:

"You can have the splash screen and apps store Windows on one screen at a time. When you open the splash screen, charms or your recent apps on another monitor, applications on the Store also moving to this screen. »

You have to wait for Windows 8.1 to run modern applications on more than one monitor.

  • Cisco profile 52/55 double - video screens on a single screen after software upgrade 7.1.4

    Hello

I improved 52/55 to TC 7.1.4 double profile system and it displays more video on two screens at a conference. It displays the contents of the second fine screen. He worked in version 6, so I'm wondering if something changed in the software or endpoint requires additional configuration.

I checked the settings under Configuration > system setup > video > monitors and it is set to Dual. I changed a few times and set it to the double, but this does not solve the problem. I do not see any option button double screen added under system information, but I guess that's an option double screen so it's a dual monitor system.

I need to change any settings?

Cisco has changed how layouts behave after TC6 on C-series systems. If you want your system behave in the same way as a Tandberg MXP more used to work (end of full screen on a single screen) and selfview full screen on the other, you can do the following telnet commands:

    xconfig video monitors: double

xconfig video CamCtrlPip CallSetup Mode: Off

    xconfig video SelfviewDefault Mode: Off

    xconfig video SelfviewDefault OnMonitorRole: second

    xconfig video SelfviewDefault modepleinecran: on

I had a lot of customer complaints after the upgrade and these orders have been tested by Cisco and I've applied to many of my clients and it works.

    Hope this helps your case

  • Management double color screen?

So I have a Setup dual monitor running OS 10.7 on a Mac Pro, and the color in bridge CS5.1 on my second screen management is a mess. Two monitors were calibrated individually with a Pantone Huey Pro (not perfect, but generally quite uniform between screens).

View an image in bridge on the screen of my first, I have no problem. But the same image, on my second screen, appears highly saturated. When I open the image in Photoshop or preview, the color is accurate and is compatible on both screens. The image below illustrates the problem: the colors shown correctly in Photoshop (foreground) and incorrectly in Bridge (in the background). The Creative Suite color in show bridge settings settings as "synchronized" with the "North American universal 2" default. "

    colormanagement-bridge_01.jpg

I am out of my depth here when it comes to color management. I have something set wrong? Is this a bug related to the Lion? Any help would be appreciated.

The way I put it in place is this: I have two synchronized windows, one on each of my two displays. In one, I have a content panel, metadata, collections, etc. In the second window I just a Preview Panel, providing a full screen (or almost) an overview of any miniature that I select in the Panel content in the other window.

Content (assuming that thumbnails so) overview of Panel on a screen and Preview Panel Preview on the other screen are both generated by an application and the bridge. As I said above, I don't think, in fact I'm almost certain that it is impossible for the bridge to withdraw because of double matrices (mathematical formulas) written in each custom display profile which occupy the same video chip to calculate and control the appearance of the hue/saturation in color managed images. Think of the complexity involved. Now Adobe is known to create miracles of workflow with their programming but I doubt they'ld be able to remove with bridge.

Photoshop can pull this wide having an image on a screen and drag to the other where it makes adjusting on the fly. I saw the rapid change that occurs it making. But I don't think that bridge can do so due to the caching structure. I hope an Adobe employee chimes in correct me.

Now it fits in your forcing mentioning a display space sRGB during calibration and profiling of each screen. This isn't what happens to make a hardware calibration. I guess you take your target Luminance (120 cd/m2 + /), Gamma (2.2 gamma-usually native) and color temperature (6500 K). It does not matter if you did anyway, but what is the calibrator material is as RGB colour and density range of each screen and write the data to the final profile which allows applications such as Colorsync to show a 3D model range and color managed like Photoshop applications to show the colors as expected.

Your screen may be close to sRGB but never accurate to him because sRGB is a synthetic (manufactured) color space. Your screen has physical abnormalities that should be measured and written in the profile to display correctly the planned appearance of color that references the CIELAB color space based on human vision. All about color in a color management workflow is based on the mapping color to display properly depending on the size of the range. A computer is a stupid machine and said all using mathematics. Haven't you actually draw a plan to follow.

The bridge preview pane in search of different can make reference to the other display profile or is stuck with reference to the other and what is happening is the equivalent of assignment among the profiles of the preview display, as you can do to an image in Photoshop. Try it. Take your image and convert it to one of your display profiles and assign the other display profile. Check if you see a slight delay. If main viewing pane of the bridge is stuck showing pixel traced in sRGB (synthetic) then the same assignment of the effect of display profile takes place.

Or color thumbnails are not managed and the preview pane is and maybe a bit of the foregoing is mixture of things. If you're not confused now imagine you write mathematically miniature previews on one screen and the main preview on the other two, controlled by a single application on top of the caching and manage a database of the big picture?

Keep the preview pane and the pane content on a screen. Edit your images in Photoshop/ACR/Lightroom on the main display.

The color settings where you select North American prepress... Web... General use... etc. applies only how images are processed and previewed that do not have an embedded profile. Your jpeg images are integrated with a profile? If yes then this isn't the issue. This applies to the Raw capture because their previews are generated by Adobe Camera Raw default settings.

Omke, not more than Version Cue? That is good news!

  • Portege R600 / A600 and double output screen

    Hello

Could you tell me if it is possible to output to two screens on the R600 or A600 with any of the Toshiba Docking solutions?

I was told that it is possible, however I was told today by the sales of Tosh is not possible to do. I want to end my home pc and the desktop pc and just wander between the two with a laptop. However, I use an extended desktop on both screens and would need this work.

    Any advice on that?

    Hello

As far as I know you can t use two external displays. It is only possible to use the internal LCD screen with * a * external LCD display. That s what you can do.

But I put t understand why you want to use two external displays the internal display is good, you can extend the Windows desktop on an external monitor.

  • IQ816 double video screen LCD (multiplex) problem

I have an iq816 in which the motherboard just died, then it wouldn't turn on, POST, nothing. The motherboard has been replaced and the system now starts at the bottom of windows very well with one exception: all that is shown on the display is multiplexed 6 times. The image to fill the entire screen fills to only 1/6 of the screen and is repeated 6 times. The machine has no video output, so I can't test an external monitor.

Here's what I know so far:
    1. the symptom appears during the during the POST, not only in Windows and BIOS configuration screen, then it cannot be a driver problem.
    2. the system has a video card discrete MXM and two LVDS ports on the motherboard (LVDS2 for discreet video) and LVDS1 for the embedded video. I already tried to remove the discrete video card and connecting the LCD to LVDS1 (integrated video), but the problem persists, this isn't a video card problem.
    3. in the configuration of the BIOS, the machine claims to be an iq504, not an iq816. I know that the machines take the same motherboard (same HP reference at least), so I don't know whether to be alarmed by the present or not. I tried to Flash the latest BIOS for the iq816, but the listed model is always incorrect. Is there another firmware, I need to flash, or is it a distraction?
    4. There is a set of DIP switches on the motherboard that I have not found any documentation on, but they are labeled GPIO, so I doubt they will help. Yet, no idea this here?
    5. There is a block of jumpers 8-pin without a label. I think that the bit is used to reset CMOS and reset password, but would like to know what are the other pins.

    6. the causes I can think of:
    A. bad cable LVDS (other on command - update)
    B. bad screen LCD (game over)
    C. something to do with this strangeness of motherboard model

    Thanks for any help/insight!

    Hey joesuffceren,

I'm sorry that you use in this show, but thank you for providing this useful information! I did some research on your motherboard.

Here is a link showing the motherboard specifications - develop internal connectors

GPIO is listed there as the DIP switch used in the factory to match the motherboard to the LCD so it might be your answer. I searched for any kind of documents I can find on which positions the rider must be on for the iq816 but have not yet find something. I wanted to get this information for you right where you want to go ahead and try changing this autour rider to see what works.

I hope this information helps! Forward to your response

  • Helps to solve the blue screen error 0 x 24

Original title: the blue screen of death

My widows Xp got the blue screen of death, ofthe ERROR (0 x 00000024) he tells me that I need to run CHKDSK. I don't know how to make it work and I can not start safe mode because it brings back me to the blue screen.

I don't have the disk, but I have a Cd to burn files on.
PS. You can go into details as I am new on this computer setting
    Thanks Chris O Rourke

Because a lot of people doesn't seem to have an XP Installation CD, I have these instructions on how to create a CD of bootable XP Recovery Console and run chkdsk (no XP media required) program.

If the forums MS Answers would invite for a little information system, when a new question is asked, you would be probably done now...  I take for granted that you have an internal or external CD/DVD drive that is functional.

If you have no XP bootable media (or aren't sure you have) create a bootable XP Recovery CD of Console and do not forget.

This is not the same as recovery disks that may have come to a store to purchase the system.

You can make a bootable Recovery Console CD by downloading an ISO file and burn it to a CD.

The ISO bootable image file you need to download is called:

    xp_rec_con. ISO

    Download the ISO from here:

    http://www.mediafire.com/?ueyyzfymmig

Use a new CD and this simple and free program to burn your ISO file and create your bootable CD (do not install UniBlue or the Ask Toolbar - never!):

    http://www.ImgBurn.com/

Here are some instructions for ImgBurn:

    http://Forum.ImgBurn.com/index.php?showtopic=61

It would be a good idea to test your bootable CD on a computer running.

You may need to adjust the computer BIOS settings to use the CD-ROM drive as the first device to boot instead of the hard drive.  These adjustments are made before Windows tries to load.  If you miss it, you will need to restart the system again.

When you start on the CD, follow the instructions:

Press any key to boot from CD...

    Installing Windows... going to pronounce.

Press 'R' to enter the Recovery Console.

Select the installation that you want to access (usually 1: C:\WINDOWS)

You may be asked to enter the password (usually empty).

You should be in the folder C:\WINDOWS.  It's the same as the

C:\Windows folder that you see in Solution Explorer.

The Recovery Console allows base as file commands: copy, rename, replace, delete, chkdsk, fixboot, fixmbr, cd, etc.

For a list of the commands in the Recovery Console, type help at the prompt of commands or read on here XP Recovery Console:

    http://www.Microsoft.com/resources/documentation/Windows/XP/all/proddocs/en-us/recovery_console_cmds.mspx?mfr=true

A good idea before you start things must first verify the integrity of your file system by using the chkdsk command.

In the command prompt window, run the chkdsk command on the drive where Windows is installed to try to fix any problems on the afflicted player.

Running chkdsk is fine, even if he finds no problem.  It won't hurt anything to run it.

Assuming your boot drive is C, run the following command:

    CHKDSK C: /r

Let chkdsk finish to correct the problems, he could find.

It may take a long time for chkdsk complete or they seem to be "stuck".  Be patient.  If the HARD drive led blinks always, chkdsk is something.  Keep an eye on the amount of the percentage to be sure that it is still making progress.  It may even seem to go back sometime.

You must run chkdsk/r again until it finds no error to correct.

Remove the CD, and then type "exit" to exit the RC and restart the computer.

You have not to set the BIOS to boot the disk HARD since the CD won't be.

  • Not start only progresses to double blue screen after the force-feeding down

After many troubles with Trend Micro and following their instructions, I was to open a session and turn it back on.  However, first disconnect and restart options did not work so I had to cut the power.  When turning it back on, the PC got to a screen with dark blue strips on top and bottom and Microsoft XP logo in the blue middle panel.  After trying various boot options in different modes of security etc and running drive Diagnostics (all past) the PC arrives in the same condition every time.  Dell won't talk to me given that all three of my PC are too old, according to them.  I saw on their site where there was such a problem after the update from another provider visus (AVG) where a CD of XP Windows Setup specific should be used with the Recovery Console to be run.  It's something on the order of what the Trend Micro tech said I should do.  With the exception, since Dell won't talk to me I can't get the CD.  With all three PC I bought home, actually provided with a CD because "your new computer does not require an operating system CD".  How can I get such a CD for XP or is there another way?  SW_Engr

How does this relate to the features of Windows Update?

If you have purchased the Dell with Windows XP (?) computer pre-installed, Microsoft will NOT provide replacement discs.

If your computer came with these discs, there is a hidden partition restore (not to be confused with the restoration of the system) you would use to do a clean install (AKA destructive recovery) of Windows. • Z3 double broken screen cannot remove data or cut completely.

HI, I have a Z3 twice and broke the main screen. I want to delete all data before sending it for repair but the screen does nothing.

I went through the steps detailed here - http://talk.sonymobile.com/t5/Xperia-Z3-Z3-Dual/unresponsive-screen/m-p/1007534 but I'm not able to switch the phone off completelly - only a soft restart using the power and volume button - the phone then restarts before I can move on to step 4 where I connect the usb with the low volume button. At that moment the phone has rebooted.

Which allows the phone to completely run out of battery is not an option as above requires at least 80% battery even when it is plugged.

Is there another way to delete all data or another way off the complete phone using other buttons?

    Thank you.

Sorry to hear about your phone.

To turn off the phone, try to keep the yellow button next to the SIM card for a few seconds. Does he put it off so that you can make a PC Companion software repair.
