  Hmm, just tried to make the adds automatically the troublehooting info but it does say no can do - on your side... problems will see if manual work.

  Have even tried to load drivers generic, just to see if it works, no chance.  I have on other computers with XP Pro on them and they picked it up, drivers loaded and works very well, but Vista is a different game. Tried plugging USB and gives the same error. Add a printer recognizes it, but it does not load the drivers.   I had the same problem. Looked at all the addons and extensions referred to in the conversation between philipp and dadmr. All extensions and plugins off and on again with each shot. Problem has been resolved by disabling app 1.0.85 Goodshop and RealDownloader 1.3.2.28. It may be that these versions were outdated, but were postponed during the upgrade from previous versions of Firefox. I hope this helps.

  Web sites that contain video clips load not properly, the space where the video should be empty. Also on facebook if you click on a thumbnail of a video which has been posted it disappears just and does not play.

  A simple solution that worked for me was to do a restore of the system when the system was working. This gives you a working flash player... Then don't update flash player, but you can update firefox.
