• Problem of dynamic content (flash to drop the process?)

  Hi all.

  I work on a full flash website and meets a strange problem (or at least its strange to me).

  I have the main shell of the site, which contains:

  1. The page layout
  2. Navigation
  3. A movieclip which pages are loaded in (external swf)
  4. Some actionscript that broadcasts in a MP3
  5. The controls for the background music
  6. A piece of actionscript code that loads one live wallpaper (another external SWF)

  I then have a series of pages in their own sovereign funds that loaded into a movieclip in the shell when the user clicks on the button in the menu. Most of these pages contain:

  1. Signs for the content on this page
  2. Some areas of dynamic text for the content of the text on this page
  3. Some actionscript that load the content of the page of a couple of text files and fills the dynamic text boxes

  Then, there's a showreel, which offers a menu and a custom FLVPlayback component to play tracks audio and video; data for the menu and the tracks are stored in XML files.

  If I use a connection over 2 Mbps:

  Initial preloader is displayed, shell load, background music in many streams and then the page content is loaded, panels animate in and the text content. all's well and its pretty fast.

  If I order my bandwidth below 2 Mbps (the main tests carried out with the connection) strangled to 1.5MBit, what is happening:

  Initial preload appears, shell load, flow of background music in but takes a little more time to start loading the page content in, animate in panels and the content is displayed for about 2 seconds.

  The contents of the text boxes disappear and the word 'indefinite' is displayed. Content appears therefore to be deleted.

  I did a few tests to identify the cause and if I comment the code what courses of water in the background, the problem disappears and everything works fine, so it seems to be related to the audio.

  I'll say, it's not the lightest of the sites; its quite graphically heavy (nothing too excessive if) and the background music is a 6 MB MP3; the site owner is a composer of film as it has many high-quality streaming audio.

  So I was wondering if anyone knows why this type of problem would occur, it seems strange that Flash would diminish the content loaded in the summer, this background music would break the process.

  Also, it surprises me that a text of the file that was < 1 k size would have fallen that this is a lightweight process.

  Instead of using loadMovie(), make use of the method MovieClipLoader.loadClip.  The MovieClipLoader class media have assigned listeners so that you can wait until something finishes loading before attempting to tke action on it.  Normally, I recommend looking in the MovieClipLoader.addListener method because it provides a fairly complete example.  I think it serves the onLoadInit event, but you can also use onLoadComplete depending on the situation.

• Flash Pro CS5 shows does not text when I test movie/export... only on the stage.

  Exactly what the subject says. I am a novice and regardless of how I export the thing (such as a picture or a movie and in any format), I can't see the text. It's particularly frustrating, because the text is the entire basis of my animation.

  Tried to convert text to clips, no difference. The weird part is, I could test the thing early on with no problem - text displayed and any. I should add: I have used SEVERAL fonts... and I think it was when things started does not.

  An answer to this would be greatly appreciated. I'm working on a deadline and if you know how to solve this problem, it would make a big difference in my life.

  EDIT: They are not unusual fonts - Helvetica, Times New Roman, etc.

• DNG files exported from the LR4 showing does not changes made when opened in PSE10?

  I have LR4, and once I do some changes that I exported the files I want to use DNG.  Then I open them in PSE10 to make final changes.  It has been working well, in fact I had an old version of Adobe Raw in my PSE on my other computer.  Then when I opened to post-secondary studies, he would ask if I wanted to convert to compatible version for editing in camera raw.  I always says no b/c I have has no need to do more raw edits.  Now that I've installed PSE on my new computer, it has the new version of ACR I guess.  When I open the DNG Edit now I no longer have this error message, but it's to show my contrast, etc. as an action setting raw instead of the changes I made in LR.  Some are like vibrance, but "recovery" that I know is "strong points" in LR, and other things are not displayed correctly.  I know that the options are different, but I don't want to use the ACR settings he uses when I open the file, or have to go through them again.  I'm not there is something I'm missing, but he cannot know.  Thanks for any help!

  There is zero advantage to sending files DNG at the PSE. As you can see, you're not see your changes and get different sliders in PSE, and indicates that certain types of ACR version mismatch. And since you say you are done making the FIRST changes, this wastes just opening time of the DNG in the PSE/ACR interface that you will not use...

  Rather than send the DNG PES files, send a TIF file to PSE using the command of Lightroom Photo-> change, and this TIF will open directly in the editor, with all of your changes from Lightroom intact PSE.

• Beginner problems: the Images not appearing and slide show does not

  I'll eventually add iframes so that I can have images displayed during audio playback. In the meantime, I have a problem just get the images to show (it works fine in Safari, but nothing else). Even if when I validated the page and am told there is no problem, even the image as part of the screen is broken. This is problem no. 1. The other problem has to do with the show, which does not work, but instead displays all images one after the other.

  Any help will be greatly appreciated; I am a beginner and I have the impression that the answer to these problems - especially No. 1 - are incredibly simple. Here is a link to an example page that shows these problems.

  So as a test in my lab, I changed a 4 vCPU to 5 vCPU virtual machine (by adding a) and started the virtual machine. The CPU is displayed in DEV Manager, but does not appear in the Windows Task Manager. I rebooted, shut down etc. Is there something else that needs to be changed for the 5th appears? Is it not able to hand odd CPU 2008?

  Flash 17.0.0.188 is installed on an image in the Citrix environment that uses the redirection.

  Flash 16.x player works fine, but when upgrade us to 17.0.0.188 the *.sol file are not written in/Appdata/roaming... directory.

  There are some security flaws there are issue in version 17.0.0.188 and I wonder if upgrading security in the 17.0.0.188 version is causing these files is not to be written.

  Flash Player cannot write or read local shared objects in the directory of the user redirected because ban us junctions crossing (flexible connections for non-Microsoft people) in the broker process.  This behavior has been disabled to address a vulnerability identified in some of the research of John Forshaw, in the broker of EI, earlier in the year.

  If you don't want to change your infrastructure, you can enable this behavior by adding the following parameter to mms.cfg:

  EnableInsecureJunctionBehavior = 1

• The plugin check page does not work, it will never stop check.

  My plugin shows Flash as outdated and blocked, despite having installed the latest flashplugin package. I went to plugincheck page to be updated, the bit that never stops check/loading (loading circular animation).

  I don't have a plugin 'Java Deployment Toolkit'. I have "Java (TM) plug-in 11.45.2", I tried to never activate the value, but it does not solve anything.

  As of today, the plugin check page started working on its own!

  Maybe it was a bug in the audit tool, maybe something on my system which is fixed by the updates. I'll probably never know.
