  I have Skype 7.23.0.105 and Win 7. I "Keep Skype in the taskbar while I'm signed" unchecked. The Skype icon appear in the Notification area after that I click on the arrow pointing upwards and then customize. It shows "Show icon and notifications". No icon shows again, in the Notification area. Not even appears when I check the box "always show all icons and notifications on the taskbar.

  Anyone knows why Skye icon does not appear? Thank you!

• The sound is choppy on Firefox, but not IE

  Whenever I try to play a YouTube video or a song streaming on Grooveshark, on Firefox, the sound is very jerky. He stutters and looks like the way your voice sounds if you speak through the rotating blades of an electric fan.

  The problem started shortly after I disabled the page file (swap file) on Windows XP Professional (due to a nearly full disk). After freeing up space on my hard drive, I have reactivated the pagefile, but the problem persists.

  Here are a few troubleshooting steps I have tried:

  (1) Ran Firefox in Safe Mode

  (2) went to Control Panel-> Flash Player-> advance-> remove all data and navigation settings

  (3) erased the content cached Web in Firefox

  4 troubleshooting information)-> Reset Firefox

  (5) uninstalled Firefox by Mozilla (deleted Program Files-> Mozilla Firefox folder, then re-uploaded and re-installed Firefox)

  The sound is fine when listening to these Web sites in Internet Explorer, so the problem does not seem to be linked to the material. It's specific to Firefox.

  Hello, this is probably a by-product of the update of the plugin flash to adobe for version 11.3 (IE comes with a different veriant of the plugin by adobe) which would causes a loss of its audio or stuttering on some systems. you could try downgrading to version 11.2 of the flash plugin, until what adobe provides a fix for these issues, see Adobe Flash plugin has crashed - avoid that it happen

  I have a problem when using Firefox to download files in cPanel and even in WordPress when adding themes or plugins. It will download WordPress plug-ins, but I think the point that it starts failing is when the plugin zip file is complete 2meg.   Yesterday, I downloaded the updates from Microsoft Update. I use Vista 64 bit Home Premium on a Toshiba laptop.

  I don't see the network icon in the taskbar.

  When I right click on the taskbar, go to properties, Notification area tab: I see that Volume, network and power are grayed out. I can't select them. The only I can change is the clock to turn on or off.

  Is there something I can do? No one else has used the laptop. Thank you.

  It works again. Sometimes this happens and I don't know why.

  I used my computer. I turned it off and now the missing things are back.

  Is there a sort option near the bottom of the import screen. Have you tried different sort options that are available?
