Someone else has an iPhone 6 with a faulty wifi card?

I had problems with the wifi connection on my iPhone 6 during some time now. The phone constantly drops the connection wifi, carries a low when connected connection and force me to be right next to the router in order to make a connection. I first contacted apple to this topic on December 2015 (2 months after my 1 year warranty) they got to toggle flight mode, toggle the wifi button, reset the network settings, reset the phone completely back to factory settings... I did everything several times and the problem is still there.  I was told by a couple of reps on the phone to take the phone to an Apple Store and ask them to help me... So I took the 2-hour drive to the Apple store nearest to say that the phone has a faulty wifi card and it is not repairable. He said the phone had to be replaced, but I was out of the warranty period and I have to pay $299.00 more taxes for a replacement...

Does anyone else have this problem? I'm quite shocked that apple refuses to fix it which is at their end in the form of a defective unit. I understand that it is out of warranty, but it is a problem of manufacturig. These phone cost US $300 more our old phone. I am not able to drop $300 + on a new phone that I feel that apple should be responsible. I have been looking online similar questions and have not yet find something.

Millions of this model were sold. It is likely that someone else has had a problem with their WiFi card.

I think you don't understand quite what than a guarantee. It covers all defects or failures of discovered components during the warranty period. If the phone has a two year warranty (as it would have if you had paid for AppleCare +) you would still be covered. But, if the WiFi card failed after 26 months, it would not be covered. As you are now about six months outside of your warranty, I don't know why you would expect Apple to cover a problem that you don't yet report to them until after that the guarantee was already more. You just wait for Apple to cover the failure of a component for as long as you have the phone?

    Hold down the option/alt key and create a new test library. If iTunes start your old library file is corrupted and will need to be replaced from a backup or rebuilt from scratch.

    OK, so it IS an error checking, which is simply not the same as before. The updated wireless NETWORK card drivers seem to have resolved this particular issue where 9f error checking as a result of one of the broadcom drivers. I crossed the dump and debugged it...

    In this case, it's always a 9f error checking, but it's the driver for power management native in Windows (acpi.sys) which was originally the error checking this time around.

    The fix was to install the Lenovo power management driver. After the verification of error no longer occurs, but Lenovo power management driver offers other errors of startup time.     I use Lightroom 2015.04 on MacOS X 10.10.5. Lightroom is put to my catalog of backup once per day and for testing integrity before saving.

    Before installing 2015.04 (the latest version), Lightroom always done this with success. Since I upgraded to 2015.04, it constantly crashes during the part "integrity check" of the operation. The progress bar indicates approximately 2% step, but never advance beyond this point, even if left to work for several hours (normally, the control takes a few minutes). Cancellation of the event does not help, and I have to force quit the application.

    One thing that seems to help is manually optimize the catalog before leaving (using 'Optimize the catalogue' from the 'File' menu). If I do this, then the integrity check usually works without problem, and Lightroom proceeds by the copy and optimize the steps in the backup successfully.

    It is not clear to me whether the catalog is corrupt. The fact that verification does not succeed - as long as I optimizes first - I want to believe it's OK.

    This has never been a problem before moving on to 2015.04. Since the upgrade, it has occurred regularly.

    It's the mail.   There are an impressive number of people and several e-mail servers and clients for e-mail in use and well, from time to time something goes wrong, mistakes happen, databases get damaged on the mail server or on the client machines, or glitch unexpectedly networks.    About a bunch of us had occasional problems with mail, too.

    However, as for your question, first, confirm that Time Machine or another backup tool running or get going, if you have not already.   All computers and all storage inevitably fails (and more than a few are dropped or damaged or stolen), and backups are how you can minimize data loss changes.  If you have no backups, I encourage strongly happening before us here, too many backups.

    Once you have backups, next check the interface of web mail that most e-mail providers offer and see if there is anything in the folder sent via the web interface.

    Then re-create the mailbox (mailbox Mail.app > rebuild), and then try again.

    If all else fails, rebuild the database of e-mail.

    HERE'S HOW:

    I had to tinker myself, but I learned a few things that were not obvious for me: Security wipe and Clean Reload are NOT (on the 9900, at least) the same thing! Security Wipe erases all memory, and then reinstalls the operating system, * but not everything is reinstalled! * In my case, it wipe out compass and possibly other things that I had not even noticed.

    Regarding the Clean Reload, I thought if I didn't choose the "Make Backup" option, he would do what I expected with security Wipe, less real SURE wiping from memory. But it does not all of this. For example, I noticed that after clean Reload, there are still a few apps I had installed on my own, as well as compass in return.

    HERE'S THE FINAL SCOOP:

    What I did, to my 'out of the box' experience: I did the security wipe, followed by the own of the charging, with no backup. Compass was back.
