The tool using System Restore may not necessarily help you determine the problem. The System Restore tool uses points of restore to return the system files and settings to an earlier point in time. You can use it to restore the operating system to a point in time where you have not experienced the problem. When you use system restore to restore the computer to a previous state, the programs and updates that you have installed are removed.

  • Insertion of a MPEG 4 video clip

I imported the video clip of my cell phone Palm Pre in the import section.  He has accepted.  I dragged down into the timeline and you can see a small picture of him.

My calendar is composed of photos, then at the end it's the MPEG 4 video file.  It does not even after I published the movie.

Also, if this problem is corrected, will be the music imported clip be dubbed out by audio on the MPEG video file or be stifled?

    Thanks for any help!

  • MPEG 2 video with audio multi-channel broadcasting

    Dear Sir

PrPro 2 using or CS4 I want to export videos MPEG 2 multichannel audio with (2 separate stereo channels) for broadcasting purposes.

As you know there are certain television channels which allows you to switch between two audio tracks, one of which I am looking to accomplish

Here are some of the features that I use for video production:

    1 primer preset DV PAL.

    2 AVI format

3 Canopus Grass Valley ProCoder 3 (to convert AVI in MPEG 2 video) according to walkers of broadcasting.

As you can see I am not able to separate the 2 Audio tracks when I try to export the video file.

So, if you have a specific method or measures to be applied (2 separate stereo channels) for a video file, please be kind to inform me with it.

also please let me know if I missed all the details.

    Best wishes

PR can only directly. Of course, you can have several audio tracks, but when it comes to exporting, you are limited to a single soundtrack. OTOH still has the ability to have several sound tracks, which, after the export can be selected on the remote control. Just like subtitles, where you can choose the language in which you want to play.

  • How to get Windows 8 to be able to play MPG or MPEG-2 video files?

I just bought a Lenovo ThinkPad 2 with Windows 8 (not Pro).  I love the Tablet - this is really a replacement upgraded for the iPad!

My problem is that I record videos on a Sony camcorder and they are recorded as MPG files.  When I click on the file to watch on the ThinkPad, the audio but there is no video.
Temporarily, I've downloaded a trial version of Cyberlink PowerDVD on the Lenovo site and this allows to play video clips with audio and video.  My question is what is the alternative to Microsoft for this?  I wonder if the upgrade to Windows Pro and download the Pack Windows 8 Media Center will allow me to see the MPEG-2 audio / MPG files?

    Hello

The short answer is Yes... except for the disks from DVD or files...

WMP 12 them will play is more due to licensing issues, but will be Media Center.

Activation of Media Center provide most of the codecs that he and Media Player will need.

A problem though... I don't think you can improve win 8 Pro with the promotion you are considering... It is my belief that you must buy the Windows 8 Pro Pack.

Take a look at this link...   http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows-8/feature-packs/

Might be worth trying to convert .3gp files to .wmv format.

    The following freeware can convert:

(FWIW... it's always a good idea to create a system)
Restore point before installing software or updates)

    Format Factory
    http://www.pcfreetime.com/
    (FWIW... you can uncheck
all the boxes on the last screen)

After downloading and installing Format Factory...
Open the program and choose an output folder...
(this is where you will find your files when they are
    converted)

Drag and drop your video clips on the main screen...

    Select "At?" / OK...
(the? is the output format of your choice)

Click on... Beginning... in the toolbar...

    That should do it...

  • Sansa Media Converter and MPEG-4 video?

    Hey.

So I got a new Sansa Fuze this morning (very nice, an improvement over my old C240) and I got my whole music library on my player. Around 390 songs.

I decided to throw some videos I have on the player, but they are all mismatched videos of various size and format. So I tried to treat them well my STROKE (Video converter) all morning to get a format suitable - I use MPEG-4 codecs, as the box says that's what he supports.

Windows Media Player (which I hate, but to use the "sync" function) or does not support the videotype itself or even said that the player refuses the video and that its not able to convert.

Thus, after exhausting the formats AVI, WMP, MP4 and MPEG-4 Mobile, I discovered frustratedly I need to use the Sansa converter. And the link to it here, apparantley, broken.

So, can someone tell my where I can get the conversion software?

You must use software update to get it. They began to do this in order to follow the downloads. What I did was to install the software update, download SMC, then uninstall the update.

  • Cannot play MPEG-4 video in Windows Media Player or Media Center from my Flip Video Camcorder

I use Win 7 with Windows Media Player 12 and when I try to play a Flip Video camcorder, which is an MPEG-4 format, I get the error "Windows Media Player has encountered a problem while playing the file."

I then help the option to select Web and it takes me a Microsoft page that describes the C00D11B1 error code.  Who has no sense to me because it speaks to my sound card and I can't read thie videos no problem via the Flip Video software supplied with the camcorder.

I was under the impression that WMP 12 taken supported MPEG-4.  Also get the Error tyring to play videos through Media Center.   Any help is greatly appreciated.

    I use Win 7 7600 version 6.1

I guess that the Flip Video software used a codec that is not Media Player. I was looking at the setting for the camera to see if it will save in another format.
