Sony motion eye cam on my sony vaio vgn-fe48g has stopped working after installing win7
Please could someone help me to set up the Board Sony motion eye cam and FN keys that don't work after upgrading from Vista to Win7, Sony are no help at all.
Device Manager can't even see the cam. I tried to install it manually and the nearest me am added the cam, I was able to start.
Maybe you are missing the drivers. Are there drivers available for this W7?
You should check with Sony for your specific model and area/region Web site to see if they provide any W7 drivers at all. If Yes, have you installed them for the web cam?
EXAMPLE - this site is for the India, they have a few drivers for Vista HP 32 bit, but none that seems for W7 HP 32-bit. - http://www.sony.co.in/support/product/vgn-fe48g
This is a missing driver for W7 then issue you might try to install drivers vista in compatibility mode, but this is not guaranteed and can cause other problems. Back up your data first to be safe. Keyboard VAIO Flip 15 has stopped working
A few weeks ago my flip 15 Vaio keyboard has stopped working. Laptop itself is in excellent condition, no scratches, and it never fell because the purchase in December 2014.
Help button (Help button works) I entered/bios recovery and I tried keyboard-useless, he did not;
Keyboard LED light up for the sleep/wake, start and stop.

I take some time and look at some of the problems/solutions that others have tried. I found the problem. It wasn't on any Windows 10 or any driver. I recently replaced my laptop screen and everything by replacing the technician missed a small plug to be inserted into the socket near the area of Webcam. And this is responsible for the functionality of microphone and webcam.

Hi, I'm having so much worse for my webcam to work again after a clean installed Windows 7 64-bit (I used to run 32-bit vista). I searched the net and found many many people with the same problem but no solution yet that works for me. My last attempt:

OS: Vista Edition Home PremiumThe Sony Visual Communication Camera died in this laptop. I want to talk about the "Motion Eye" webcam above the screen.

No help from this Forum, but I got the Motion Eye Cam working again. He would sometimes work for a minute or two and then quit. I thought it would be connected USB so I downloaded the registry USB patch (and a whole bunch of other updates and more) and installed it. After the patch USB Webcam has started working again. I don't know if it was the fix, but its working now. The Vaio "Updater" program did not work (it should be updated as well) so I had no idea there were so much software upgrades available for this laptop. I highly suggest that you check the Sony Web site for downloads (if you did not) available for your computer. Good luck. -
