Sony NW E407 "no memory".

Hi, I have a sony e407, which until recently worked fine. Connected pc yesterday with sonic open stage, generally it records quickly and I can transfer tracks, but I noticed the hourglass on mouse showing all few seconds without doing me anything. It turns out that all the same striped data files already installed on the drive. Stadium no longer recognizes it and the player displays "format error" and "memory error".

I can access menu th on it, but it shows "no data".

I have the latest firmware for it. Need re-formatting of ned and if so, how, what files were already installed on it?

Any help would be greatly appreciated,
Thank you.

Thank you for your post and welcome to the forums.

The only way to format the unit is to press the reset button located on the back near the headphone jack. If you still have the music files on the computer and then transfer again to the Walkman without using Sonic Stage software. Try WMP to transfer songs or any other software that can sync / transfer the files on the player. If you believe that there is a problem then contact the Sony Support by clicking here:

  • Sony camera and the memory card

I imported a number of photos of my Sony Cyber Shot DSC RX 100 to my Windows 7 photo gallery. Somewhere in the process, I shot some of them. I imported directly from my memory card. Now when I try to view pictures in my camera, it says "cannot display" - the error message also said on another "unable to turn" screen. Does anyone have any ideas about what happened and I can recover these photos in original size on my card?

Looks like you did with the camera connected to the computer and Windows to change the format (turn).  I don't think you can export these back to the camera.  With the large capacity memory cards, I suggest you not to change the pictures on the memory card and keep for a while before deleting.

    Suggestion:

Do not connect your camera to your computer.  Buy a memory card reader - they are inexpensive.  In fact, most modern computers have a built-in SD card reader.   Remove the memory card from the camera and insert it in the drive.  Connect the player to your computer and treat it like any other thumb drive USB.  The card reader is small and fits easily in your case of the camera, much better that the cables and such.

Much faster, without fussing over the drivers, no battery worries.  This also means that you don't have to install anything on any computer to be able to copy your photos.  It also lets you remove the lightening fast compared to in the camera memory card.  Most of the software that comes with cameras is terrible.

  • Flashcards for DSC-P200

I have a DSC-P200 'old' I intend to keep it for now and try to find more info on compatible memory cards. The specs say that it takes a USB stick or a Memory Stick Pro, and I don't have the latter in the version of SanDisk Magic Gate. However, the accessories of the model on the Sony site show a memory stick duo and duo and duo Pro are now the most widely available. For me, duo style seems too broad for the location of the camera, and I don't see how an adapter could remedy this situation. But Amazon shows a Sony Memory Stick Duo replacement adaptor it says is compatible with 'Material Memory Stick'. Would someone please clarify this for me? If a style duo worked, possibilities of memory capacity card opens. Thank you

Thank you for your post and welcome to the forums.

Simply get a Memory Stick Duo adapter and you will be able to use the Memory Stick Pro Duo in the camera. Adapt the size of the memory stick adapter, either a Duo or Duo Pro.

  • Size of Android OS on new XZ

Collected my 32 GB XZ a couple of days and have been implemented.

Just noticed that the operating system and a few apps (additional applications as 15 in total) has used up to 46% of the memory of the phone.  Only the operating system represents 10.6 GB.  Just checked my old Z2 that is running the same Android 6.0.1 and is 4.5 GB.

I used the Xperia transfer Mobile app which although worked well has crashed a few times so had to abandon it and try again until finally, it worked.  Could be the problem?

One of the reasons behind the allocation of memory is 64-bit and the other is that Sony reserves usually more memory in order to cover all the requirements of a future android update.

I recently bought the camcorder FDRAX33. I wanted to know what card users would recommend? I don't want to spend a lot of money. Thank you!

If you want to use a Sony card, consider the Sony 64 GB SDXC Memory Card (class 3 speed) UHS - I (Sony #SF64UX/TQN).  If you record video 4K, then you can consider the Sony - 64 GB UHS - I (class 10/U3) SDXC memory card (Sony #SF64UZ/TQN).  The difference, other than the second being about twice the price as the first, is the writing speed.

    Sony compatible cards

64GB SanDisk Extreme Pro UHS - I memory card SDXC U3 (class 10) (SanDisk #SDSDXP - 064 G - A46) is another option and is cheaper than the Sony U3 version.

Of course there are higher capacity cards.

I have a new Sony Vaio Pro and have experienced outages of system 3 times.  All the accidents that happened after I've restored from hibernation and were related to the bug check DRIVER_POWER_STATE_FAILURE.  After the first two accidents, I ran Sony diagnostics on the memory and hard drive SSD and they passed the test.  I even sent my Vaio Pro to the repair depot to Sony for a test on the memory, hard drive and other hardware and they all passed.

I found my Vaio Pro last Wednesday and updated the Windows 8 from scratch.  This morning, after the resumption of hibernation, I realized my Bluetooth mouse did not work.  So I stop the laptop hoping a restart could solve the problem.  However, it took almost 5 minutes before they would stop and restart Windows gave a warning:

    Hi William,.

The attached file of the DMP is the error checking DRIVER_POWER_STATE_FAILURE (9f) .

This bug check indicates that the driver is in an inconsistent or invalid power state.

    9F, {4, 12 c, fffffa80196707c0, fffff880009ec810} error checking

Parameter 1 of the bugcheck is 4 , which indicates that the transition of power over waiting to synchronize with the Pnp subsystem.

The 2nd setting is 12 c , which indicates that it is exceeded for a total of 12 seconds.

By default, the crash dump is failing UsbHub3.sys who is the pilot of HUB-USB3 (System driver and not the true cause, and is due to the fault by something else).

In addition, to answer your question as to why the MEMORY. DPM is so important because it's a dump of memory rather than a small kernel. Kernel memory dumps contain all the kernel memory was working with and that was in use at the time of the accident, that is why it is larger and provides much more information.

    Hi!, Puppydoog:

    Welcome to Forum!

If you have a camera Sony, with Tick Pro Duo memory, you can first of all, with the camera software and connector cable, download for PC, or through one of the card reader, PC (Kingston FCR-HS219/1 or similar). After that, you can copy to the PC with the same card reader, SD card, for use, in your printer, HP Envy 5532.
