Sony Vaio 13 Pro power indicator

Hello

I have a question, a few days ago, my light was blinking orange when the PRO13 has been in sleepmode. But I see more. Anyone know of this feature is available in the settings? And if the laptop must always do this if it is in sleepmode?

Greetings,

Kynam

I already found the problem. I found this information on Sony's site: http://docs.esupport.sony.com/pc/SVP1121_1321_series/EN/contents/TP0000058477.html

It works for me!

Greetings,

Kynam

  • Noise of static/rattle speaker Sony Vaio 13 Pro

    Hello

These days, I hear a crackling/static annoying noise coming out of my speakers.  It is not constant but happen randomly while listening to music or watch video on any volume (even at around 40%).  I can't hear it when I plug in the headphones so looks like a problem with the internal speakers. Could the speakers were blown and will they replaced under warranty if this is the case?  I bought the laptop in June.

    Thank you.

I figured this out. I went Vaio Control Center and changed the Audio settings for Clear Audio for music. It has been defined to Clear Audio for video. The crackling disappeared. If all goes well, he ain't.

How can I get a new battery for my Sony Vaio Pro 11? The model number is not yet on the web site of Sony. I went to Batteries Plus store, and they did not find a battery for it.

  • Sony Vaio Pro 13.3 inch touchscreen: touchscreen not working not

    Hello

Suddenly, the touch screen for my Sony Vaio 13 Touch Pro works two days ago and I have no idea how to solve this problem. I didn't install anything new before it stopped working and I tried to install new drivers on the VAIO update, but it still does not. I thought that it would be because of Windows, so I've updated to 8.1 Windows today and it still does not work. "On the PC info it even says" Pen touch abd: no pen or touch input is available for this view. but this laptop is supposed to have touch capability and it has worked so far.

Help, please! My model number is SVP13215CDB. Do I need to install or update my driver?

    Hi Nick,

Thank you for your answer, but I did as you said and installed this driver and nothing has changed... The search option did not show a Tablet PC settings and PC info always says "no pen or touch input is available for this view". And thanks for the compliment =) I did on site for reasons to ask this question.

  • [New Sony Vaio Pro] WiFi problem!

    Hey!

I recently acquired the new Vaio Sony Pro 13 "."

Everything seems to work admirably except for the Wifi card.

In fact, the card works fine in a range of 15 feet around the router.

But when I cross this beach, wifi download & upload speed drop strongly: download of ~ 20Mbps to 0, 5Mbps!

This problem is clearly linked to the Vaio Pro as the other computers in my household are not such questions.

    What I tried to do:

    > Re-install card driver intel (available on the Sony site)

    > Change the properties of the map

Unfortunately, these actions did not solve the issue...

Do you have any idea what could be the problem and a way to fix it?

    A few ideas:

    > Card vice (bad connectivity,...)

    > Global issue with new laptops Sony Vaio Pro

    > Not good map properties

    > ???

    Hoping to get some answers,

    Kind regards

  • How can I clean install Win 7 Pro on a series of 330 intel SSD using a Sony Vaio laptop as the source. I have the original disc and the authorization only

My Office HARD drive had a fatal accident and poster now under vacuum. It was a disk of 1 TB with Win 7 Pro upgrade to Win 8 Pro.I have records of origin 32 and 64 bit OS and wish to install the OS on a SSD using the optical drive on my Sony Vaio, which will become then the boot drive in my office.

    [Moved from comments]

You must do the installation on the desktop. You can not install windows on the disk into a computer and then move the disk to another computer and do work. When installation is complete, it reads information from the BIOS of the computer, on which it is installed and when you put the disc in another computer that Windows does not find the information used during the installation.

You will need to put the new drive in the desktop, install Windows 7 on it, then upgrade to Windows 7 to Windows 8 again.

  • Sony Vaio VGN-NW270F not illuminate, no LED light with battery cable or power supply

I have a Sony VAIO VGN-NW270F, it is quite dead. No led light, no boot, nothing. No lights with battery or power cable. I did some research:

    1. I did press the button power for 60 seconds, nothing. (Battery and cable not plugged in)

    2. I replaced the DC power jack in my research, it is said that the laptop can turn off completely if the plug or the charging circuit has problems. The motherboard looks fairly integrated, I do not see a power billing for the circuits that may be outside the MB.

    3. I plugged a different power cable, nothing.

    4. I can't find a replacement MB online which is less than $1,000.

    5. I see not all covers of breath, or a repair kit online.

Anyone, has any idea what should I do then? And for sarcastic readers of this post, yes I know. But rampage it seems such a waste... Even for a computer dead.

    Hello Alex,.

  • SONY Vaio VGN-AW360J will not power

    Hi all

I'm new to the Group of users, and this is my first posting.
I have a SONY Vaio VGN-AW360J, the keyboard is for quite awhile, buggy not allowing the good boot-up, lock up, creation of random key entries and sorting. I found that if I opened the laptop, access to the slick KB then disconnect and reconnect it LT would work normally until I later had to reboot for some reason any. I ordered an exact replacement KB and I'm waiting for delivery is however now the LT does not power on at all. I checked the presence of 19.5 VDC at the level of the connector on the main Board after taking power, but don't know where else to check even if I can with my simple digital multimeter. I did all the procedures proposed on the site of Sony support without change.

The symptoms are the following: no indication of power to the power switch, no green light. DC power is present on all four positions at the level of the connector PCB (PCN1). There is no change with or without the defective original keyboard connected and no change with all removable devices disconnected i.e.: CD/DVD drive, hard disk and RAM all removed from the main Board.

Then, Oh, my darling Sony Vaio is completely dead in the preverbal waters of my digital life. My big question is, does anyone have knowledge of this problem and is at - it no reasonable or logical hope through the necessary repairs, if any?

    TKS,
    Dave S.

    Sorry for this Santec,

I just explained on my post that the issue is already material. I'll also send you a private message for the info. Here's the correct link: https://community.sony.com/t5/VAIO-Hardware-Networking/How-do-I-get-assistance-with-my-VAIO-Laptop/m...

  • Re: Computer laptop Sony Vaio SVZ13115GGXI, would it or5.5.2 first Pro CS6? with an Intel® HD Grap

Re: Above, would a 13.1 "monitor will be big enough at 1920 x 1080 in this Vaio Z series? And he would go the Mercury engine? With 4000 Intel HD Graphics card?

    Bob,

The fact that you look at a laptop computer with only a 13.1 "average screen in my book that he will not be used for a very minor change, otherwise would have chosen you a larger screen, I think. But the main obstacle to a small laptop is the only disk in it. As soon as you start to look for a laptop with a larger screen, you can also find laptops that allow 2 or even 3 disks internally, well than the Sony Vaio series No. And of course, you know how it is important to distribute your drive accesses to disks as much as possible. In addition, more big laptops often have the possibility of a CUDA compatible video card that can use material MPE.

  • Sony Vaio laptop BSOD when waking from sleep. 8.1 64bits

    Hello

My Sony vaio is strange. Whenever I put it to sleep and it wakes the BSOD while it recharges to the 'not found operating system". Now the power button down for 30 seconds and then it turning it back makes me back in the operating system without any problem.

I've updated the BIOS and run that all pilots availible to do this and the model.

I also reset the BIOS to the factory settings.

I have also reinstalled the operating system.

    VPCSA290X

Everything works well except the mode 'sleep'.

Nobody has any ideas? OK, Im going to the customer and to recommend that he not spend a dime on Sony laptops in the future. His name is Dayne Sampson.

  • Sony Vaio 13 Flip do not charge to 3%

    Hello

My Sony Vaio 13 SVF13N13CXB Flip will not charge when plugged in and remains at three percent. Battery icon says "plugged in, not charging."

Charge light amber does not illuminate during usage and only flashes for a moment when I hit the power button to turn the computer on or off.

Is there a boot program or process, that I have disabled potentially who charge controls of this laptop?

A few days ago I installed the Iolo System mechanic and he disable programs a bit, so I don't know if it's what he does. I've been through, and it's not like I've disabled something vital...

I have upgraded to Windows 10 in early November and there was no problems until a few days ago, so I do not think this update had no effect on the battery does not charge.

I also tried the care function battery in the Vaio Control Center without result - I turned on and after-hours care function to try to revive the battery charges and neither have worked.

I also disabled the computer and left it plugged in UAB and conversely the computer turned off and left unplugged overnight (this problem is ongoing since almost a week).

I tried to solve this problem in Vaio Care and who does not, I even reset my computer.

Is there a possibility of charge cable is defective and that's all that I have to correct, because that would be the simplest solution.

And if so, where I acquire one of these load of the cables since these laptops on is no longer on the market?

I hope this isn't my battery, aka, I hope I don't have to send for repair.

Any input or advice is much appreciated. Thank you for reading.

    Patrick

    RESOLVED:

I left my computer completely die in having not plugged and turn until he went into this weird reset mode where he was turning power on and off until he eventually just turned off for good. Then I plugged it it in and AHA! -the charging LED amber light turned on and the computer began to load. I think that the computer has become sensitive and he knew that he would die so he is healed itself to charge to stay alive (IE. He understood that I was killing and allowing it to become a brick, but it also has a will to live it fixed itself). I'm just glad, it doesn't have the arm and I worry about the internet connection because it can communicate with other sensitive machines and start to take over the world.

  • use to have xp. When xp stop working on my sony vaio model pcvrx540 a friend installed linux on it. can I do a fresh install of windows xp os House without cd. they have prod.key num.

My sys. use to have xp home edition. When xp stop working on my sony vaio model pcvrx540 a friend installed linux on it. can I do a fresh install on the net with my oridgenal prod. key num? have no drive at all

    Hello

There is no Net download that is not for the most hacked and / or infected with Malware

Save your data and do a clean install of XP.

    http://pcsupport.about.com/od/OperatingSystems/SS/instxpclean1.htm

If you do not have your XP disk, you can contact Sony and ask them to send you a XP disc.

They should do this for a small fee.

You need to change the Boot order to make the DVD/CD drive 1st in the order of startup and startup disk:

How to change the Boot order in BIOS:

    http://pcsupport.about.com/od/fixtheproblem/SS/bootorderchange.htm

"How to replace Microsoft software or hardware, order service packs and replace product manuals.

    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/326246

Linux installation could destroy this XP Reinstall option:

And if you have never received a recovery disk when you bought your computer, there should be a recovery Partition on the hard drive to reinstall XP back on how you purchased your computer.

The recovery process can be started by pressing a particular combination of the key or keys at startup. (Power on / start)

It may be Ctrl + F11, F10, F11, Alt + F10, etc., depending on the manufacturer.

Ask them to the proper key sequence.

    See you soon.
