I read this thread on copyright on the lava and the posted queue Aristos a same scenario frightening about what could happen SOPA becomes law. (This is a link to Wikipedia that will be down in the world later today to protest these laws)

Basically what is happening now, is that if someone posts the code under copyright on this forum, that person is legally responsible. The copyright owner can sue that person and the order NOR to take down the offending content. This applies to screws, clips, screenshots, etc. If SOPA become law then NOR will inspect any code and determine if it is legally displayed. If someone illegally post another code under copyright of people and someone download it then OR would be legally responsible. It would be more convenient for this forum to exist. Same for any forum that allows attachments.

Here is a good list of reasons why you should oppose to SOPA and PIPA. What can do you? It is probably fatalist, but I don't have a good feeling about the future.

We are opposed to the adoption of SOPA/PIPA bills in its current version. We believe that the points statement White House in a constructive manner to problems with the current legislation, the need to fix them and the possibility for people from all sides to talk together a better way forward.

If you open the page of the AIA on http:///AIA browser, you should be able to go to the Configuration tab and display the version.

Captivate 8 and PIP - why I can't place the inserted video?

By improving the ability to define the positioning for the PIP video in a project of cpvc seems to have disappeared, unless I missed something. I can drag the thing around by clicking and dragging, but it seems there is no x and there options available, anyone can comment on?

Thanks for pointing out this issue, this is a bug. Workaround for this can be use arrows or arrows + key shift/Ctrl to move the PIP video onstage.

What is the best way to connect quizix pipes to labview?

Pipes share data by using Dynamic Data Exchange (DDE), which is the best way? To use an OPC server between labveiw and pipes or DDE?

If the program manages DDE communication the best way is via a DDE, as LabVIEW handles this. Otherwise, you will need to add another instance (OPC Server) system that will make it more complex and causes more load.

Swap sides for the scales on the front panel and containers

Hi all

Very simple question here. I want to Exchange on sides of the balance on my Front Panel and specifically DSC container as a pressurized tank.

It is very easy to do with a waveform table or chart, but seems to be impossible with tanks and reservoirs.

It would be very convenient, especially for the process of DSC where I try to imitate the flow of process on the front panel and pipes could enter tanks of different sides.

With the Canon cameras and embedded image C40

I got a Cisco C40. We have two cameras Canon XA25 already in place (for a different application).

Ideally, we would use the guns. Separate us and stream video to the guns to goto C40. Can we push the two cameras of the whole (at the other end)? So that the main camera to feed with a secondary camera to power on this subject?

As Patrick said, the C40 does not support showing two cameras at the same time. The functionality of "Composer" who can do is available on larger end C60, C90 or SX80 points, but not the baby end points. The provisions on greater endpoints and can be manipulated with the software to the Console of TC .

But, for your solution, you can feed two outdoor cameras on an external device of picture-in-picture, then just feed one "camera" food to the endpoint. We do this for many years with various devices in a number of our rooms and on several mobile camera VC carts, back in the old days with old devices analog 4:3 (Kramer PIP-200XL) and, more recently, with lots of cameras HD and PiP (Extron DVS 605).

How can I do PIP zoom work to overlay another photo?

I want to start with a map of a country, then got a picture that starts full screen, then shrinks into a corner of the map and which repeat 4 times to get the map with 4 small pictures, one in each corner. I can do basic PIP and PIP zoom via the preset, but I can't see how to use the preset to overlay the map. Is this possible? Thanks Chris

This is easily done by Keyframing fixed effects > Motion > scale and Motion > Position. I wouldn't try to use the presets for PiP (Picture in Picture).

To make this work of PiP, I like to create alignment markers, to help me get the scale and the correct Position. Just remove these Guides, prior to export, or they will appear. This ARTICLE goes into detail.

TosBtProc.exe using 100% CPU

I have a Tecra with built-in Bluetooth 9100, running Windows XP SP2 however, everytime I turn on the bluetooth, using the system tray icon the TosBtProc process starts to use 100% of my CPU and pipes of my machine unless I kill the process.

This problem was happening before that I updated to SP2, I tried upgrading to the latest v3.20.01 Bluetooth Stack but that made no difference.

As a result, I can't connect my Bluetooth phone to my PC.

Does anyone have ideas, what is the problem?

It's very strange. I have Tecra M1 and it resembles your T9100. I tried to go wireless and Bluetooth connection, but everything works fine. Can you please try the same thing using FN + F8? Use just the Bluetooth wireless as there is option that allows connections on the same time.

Application deployed TS has dimmed the run function

I have seat request TS with Labview and Labview operator with controls TS API Interface modules.

On my computer, it works normally.

On the target (the two PC & WinXT) application computer has grayed out buttons entry point and it is impossible to execute any order.

This computer is a clear machine with clear system with the same architecture as the development PC.

I turned on the computer licenses (see attachment) target which in my opinion quite simply run the tests.

I tried to place on the operator interface target computer open sequences from examples of TS and TS demo together...

I saw the same picture: all the buttons to run TS model dimmed entrypoints.

I tried to use the TS API and manually call the execurion entry point.

I got the error message: Index on the beach.

This means that there is no accessible entry points.

We have very close SOP and I want to understand: perhaps by some inaccessible license to run test?

But after cafuly read all the descriptions of license I have a opinion: everything should work.

If you have the complete USER interface, with the menu options, try the following on the target computer.

Configure-> Station Options. Select the model tab.

Check that the model Station in the path is correct.

I noticed that if TestStand can't find a model valid 'process' both DUT and Single Pass will be gray.

Dell Latitude D810

Greetings,

I was given a Latitude D810. I rebuilt the fort with a fresh install of XP and downloaded, video and network Sigmatel audio drivers on the Dell site and install them. I've also updated the memory to 1 GB. Everything seems to work with one exception.

I use this computer to connect to Second Life so that I can run sound audio effects for theatrical productions through the Vivox voice communication channels. The audio comes a computer and pipes through mixer to the laptop. I did it with my other computers well enough, but for some reason any with this one I am an almost constant static pulse. This does not work when I plug a standard Logitec headset into it. The microphone works well and I get no static. But when I connect the output of the mixer Behringer or go directly from PC to laptop, I get static. I tried all the settings I can find on the laptop, I tried different ports on the table mixing and going even directly from the desktop PC that runs the SFX in the laptop, and also of various cables without result. Anyone have any ideas on what is the cause and how can I eliminate it? Thank you.

Hello Craig. Run the laptop on battery. If the noise goes away, then you have some kind of loop of mass caused by the AC adapter.

There was a design flaw that simultaneously struck all Dell laptops. I don't remember when it was fixed, so don't know if the D810 had the problem.

If battery eliminates the problem, a temporary solution is then get an adapter pin 2-pin (ground eliminator) 3 in a hardware store and use it either on the phone or mixer card.

Long term fix is to get a ground isolator - an inexpensive Radio Shack used to have (part 270-054). Or get a usb sound card that has optical s/pdif and connect to the mixer it's - no drivers. An external card that connects with copper cables will not help.

I have a new KDL-50R550A. So far, it looks like a big tv, but I am disappointed by the PIP/PAP function. He takes too many keystrokes to access its small size is too large and PIP does not work with any input except for a PC.

You can get an image from a video source connected to the TV using cables component in the pane when you use the image and image, if the video source in the main window is connected to the TV using an HDMI cable (except the PC sync).

1 - Cuando el C20 esta idle muestra el video en ambos monitored, TR dá local PC en the contenido entrada, entonces lo muestra in el Monitor 2.

2 - Cuando el esta SX20 slowed muestra el video local solo el monitor 1, TR dá a PC en the contenido entrada, entonces lo muestra in el Monitor 2.

3 - Cuando el C20 Esta en llamada, el video remote is ve en el monitor 1 y el video local to ve en el Monitor 2. Al compartir el monitor 1 muestra el contenido video remote y del video PIP local, el Monitor 2 muestra el contenido.

4 - Cuando el SX20 Esta en llamada, el monitor 1 muestra el video remote y del video PIP local, el monitor 2 gray hasta permanent that envia contenido.

Change the following two parameters on your codec, and this should help you to what you want. When TC6 came out and Cisco introduces new options of selfview, it changed how the codec have behaved and treated the selfview when using dual display.
