Sound calls blackBerry smartphones

I can't do any volume on my phone for a phone call unless I turn on the speakerphone.  I checked the mute, etc.    All of the suggestions.   Worked well on Monday night and Tuesday morning did not work.

I tried the soft and hard reboot and neither one solved the problem.   However, after a few days, it fixed itself.  No idea why.   Thank you for your response.

  • Call blackBerry Smartphones Wifi icon disappeared

I have a Bold 9900 and had wifi calls (voice of BBM) installed and working for months. Recently, my voice BBM icon has disappeared. How can I reinstall? I have to delete BBM and install again?

Hello Mac and welcome to the community of BlackBerry Support Forums.

Sorry to hear that you are having a problem with BBM.

Under Options > device > application management, which is the Version listed BBM?

When you go to www.blackberry.com/bbm on your device browser and go into install BBM, do you have a prompt to replace the same version or install a new one?

    Thank you!

  • Call blackBerry Smartphones appears on the mye-mail

I accidentally hid my call log and when I finally had returned it (and don't ask me how) I shows that the calls that I make no calls or missed calls, they appear in my e-mail address... I tried everything I found in the book to do and nothing has fixed this.  I never know if I missed a call, unless I check my e-mail.

Hello and welcome to the Forums of Support BlackBerry.com.

Press the green phone dialing to enter in your call log > Menu key > Options > Call Logging and set your option here that you want to see in your message list.

If you don't want calls in your Messages folder, disable "Missed calls"

  • Alerts & sounds of blackBerry Smartphones

    Hi all

    Here's a question for you...

I have sound/music as my ringtones... calls/sms/emails etc... When someone calls me the music don't play for about 10 seconds, while if someone sms/e mail me, music plays all the way to the end. Now, it's one thing to design of BB or I can change my length of sounds of the music/calls, so that she plays for more?

    Thank you very much

    Mac

As a standard, most all carriers have a value default 15 seconds of ringtime until voicemail picks up.

If you do not need additional ring time before voicemail:

    1. The simplest method is to call your operator and ask a longer time of the ring, up to 30 seconds.
    2. If you have a GSM based phone, some have had success by calling that number from your phone: * 61 * XXXXXXXXXXX * 30 #.
    • Replace XXXXXXXXXXX with your carrier voicemail center number (find him looking at your phone dialer > Options > VoiceMail > access number.) Put your access instead of the Xs above number.
    • For example, the T-Mobile voice mail access number is 18056377243, and would therefore be the string to dial * 61 * 18056377243 * 30 #.
    • Replace the 30, the end of the string with your desired seconds. For most carriers, 30 seconds, it is the longest allowed.
  • "Important calls" blackBerry smartphones in the profile alert screen

I was setting up the vibrate profile and I was curious about the option "Use the active profile with the exception of the important calls" - exactly what he defines as an importantcall and how it determines that a call is important?

Also - what is a 'Level 1' message?

    TIA,

    Zelig

When you use a profile, you can define exceptions that will override the current profile. These exceptions are included in the list of profiles, under a thin horizontal line. "Important calls" is an exception. You can configure any which just exception go on it, then hit the Menu, then select Edit. You will then be able to configure the exception: that is the appellant and which profile to use for this person.

I give you an example: you are home on vacation, have a NAP. You won't be bothered by anyone, unless your mother calls. If you choose a 'silent' profile and add an exception "Dear MOM" in which you can select the phone number and the desired profile (usually the one with the ring "you are so beautiful to me")

Works fine with your boss too, but maybe you'll want to give another name for this exception.

  • Issue of feedback during calls blackBerry Smartphones

    Hi all

I have experienced the following problem on my Curve 8330 from Verizon for about the last 2 weeks, since I upgraded to 4.5.0.138. I am running 4.5.0.175 (Platform 3.4.0.55).

In about 80% of the calls that I make or receive, I get a very strong, very strong feedback effect in the call. This will happen if I use the handset, speaker or a headset (Plantronics Voyager 520) Bluetooth. Appellants complained to hear the same noise so I think it's just on my side. Noise may occur at any time during the call and often occurs in bursts - say, 2 or three "tweets" within a few seconds. I wiped the handset completely twice and new 4.5.0.175 installation from a local copy. It has had an effect on the issue zero.

Today's applications, I'm running are Gmail 2.0.6 Google Sync 0.5.15, Blackberry Messenger 5.0.0.57.

    Any suggestions?

As I don't know IF the OS 5.0 corrects the chirp, I would downgrade also.

My sound icon does not open on the touch screen?  All other applications open?  I locked it somehow?  Help, please!  : )

Begin by a traction battery, if you have not already. With your phone, remove the battery and then replace it.

    I hope that helps you.

  • Tone of reminder for SMS, Voice Mail, missed calls blackBerry Smartphones

I probably forget something obvious, but I can't find the settings necessary for a tone of "reminder" for incoming SMS, missed calls or voicemail messages. In other words, setting a tone that repeated at designated intervals (maybe 5 or 10 minutes) until I have acknowledge receipt of an incoming message or missed call. For example, I often find that I'll be out of earshot of my BB when a text SMS arrives so I don't the original key. The rest LED flashes but it is easy to miss. It is a common feature to most cell phones. Can someone point me in the right direction?

Thanks a lot for pointing me in the right direction! I visited the site of the developer ( http://www.bellshare.com ) and my question on their user forum. In a matter of a few minutes, a member of the community suggested that I look into a different bellshare called «BerryBuzz» application As it tuns, that's exactly what I needed. It includes all the features that I want (and more) and couldn't be easier to use. This will certainly be the best $5 I've ever spent on applications of BB 3rd party :-)

  • Call blackBerry smartphones - square box appeared

    Hi all

    HANDSET: CURVE 8900

There is a square that appears next to the icon of volume/speaker during a call in progress. It is somehow connected to the speaker work as when I activate the speaker, he disappears. I am very sure that wasn't there before.

The box + sign at the top left goes diagonally down to the right.

Nobody knows what is this box? Should it be there? Why is she only appeared today?

I tried to pull battery hoping that he would disappear.

    SAL

SAL my friend, I came across the forum support with this same question, alas, you had the same question!

Don't worry, today I tweak and I discovered that the icon square with '+' signs are: is the function menu "improve call Audio" which you can access during a telephone call.  To do this: make a call, and time of your call, click menu function button and then choose the function "improve call Audio" and three icons will appear and you can select 'normal', which is a straight line of '+' sign, or bassd strengthened, which is a descending, or treble icon to step improved, which is a rising step icon.  My guess is that the sign '+' are meant to resemble a graphic equalizer, with the low octaves higher for low (so the scale and 'down' you go from left to right), or high octave set to high for the treble (so the scale increase "" you go from left to right).

In any case, choose 'normal' to make the square icon disappear during phone calls.  Hope this helps the man!

  • BlackBerry smartphone how to block Facebook sounds in Blackberry Priv

How can I block Facebook sounds in Blackberry Priv? For example, I don't want to make a noise when I 'like' something.

The only way I was able to do this is to put my phone in do not disturb mode. I like to keep my phone in priority mode and did calls and event SMS reminders for a sound. Is this possible?

    Thank you

    Karen

    Hello

On Facebook, tap the 3 lines > settings App > toggle the sounds option

Then, you won't have to hear the sound when you 'like' something.
