  1. Go to the Start menu icon in the left corner
  2. Right click on it to bring a menu
  3. Choose Properties from the menu
  4. Go to Notification area tab
  5. Click Customize to change the settings for each icon that appears in the notification area
  6. Scroll to the bottom for you have new messages and select view
  7. Click Ok, apply, OK

  Go to WinMail icon and drag in the Quick Launch bar

• Tone of reminder for SMS, Voice Mail, missed calls blackBerry Smartphones

  I probably forget something obvious, but I can't find the settings necessary for a tone of "reminder" for incoming SMS, missed calls or voicemail messages. In other words, setting a tone that repeated at designated intervals (maybe 5 or 10 minutes) until I have acknowledge receipt of an incoming message or missed call. For example, I often find that I'll be out of earshot of my BB when a text SMS arrives so I don't the original key. The rest LED flashes but it is easy to miss. In a matter of a few minutes, a member of the community suggested that I look into a different bellshare called «BerryBuzz» application As it tuns, that's exactly what I needed. It includes all the features that I want (and more) and couldn't be easier to use. This will certainly be the best $5 I've ever spent on applications of BB 3rd party :-)

• No sound notification or screen for text

  If this problem just started today. I have an iPhone 6 and I get no sound notification for text, my husband sent me but there is sound when I receive calls from him or anyone else. Another strange thing, it's that they are not pop up on the screen of the notification. My do not disturb is not on and my phone is not on the silence, I tried the assisted by inhibition/reactivate, restart and turn off key and none of them worked... Currently it is backed up to restore, but that takes some time. I hope someone else has a different solution.

  Thanks for stopping by Apple Support communities. Looks like you are having some problems with notifications for your husband's text messages. I use my iPhone all the time and I depend on having these notifications alert me on when a message arrives. I'll be happy to help you with this. You did some great troubleshooting so far, thank you.

  I see that you are backing up the iPhone. It's a great thing to do. Here are some articles that go on the backup and synchronization of your photos to the computer as well.

  The backup of your iPhone, iPad and iPod touch

  Keep your photos safely stored and updated on all your devices

  Once you have the backup, if you could then go to the settings > Notifications. The Messages app, please drag the off slider to "Allow the Notifications" and slide it on. Also, make sure that you have some type of display in the "Sounds" section Please also check to be sure that the "Show we Lock Screen" is turned on as well.

  If you can then test, having your husband text you. See if the iPhone notifications notify you with the sound and appearing on the lock screen. If she's not always you warn, please reset all settings. This will reset things like alarms, light, background, passwords Wi - Fi network etc. You have to reenter those. To reset all the settings go to settings > general > reset > reset all settings. Then please still test.   I'm glad to hear you like Firefox OS! I understand that you want to move the desktop notifications. Currently, there is no option to customize notifications.

  I don't know if there's an app on the market that do that, but you can change all notifications to not appear on the home screen of the setting menu by pressing the Notification. In order to change notifications for new e-mail, tap e-mail account on the three bars on the left menu, click on the gear and then click the name of the account. From there on, there will be an option to disable the new e-mail notifications.

• Audible alert options for SMS messages

  Why is it after all the releases of the webos you can't always choose different sounds for incoming SMS messages?  The sound of an incoming message is also identical to an incoming message.  I submitted an application for this feature with justification several months back and still no change.  They have a high priority for change the clock police but not the sound alert for SMS single and adjustable?

  The problem here is that I am a COMPUTER professional who is oncall 24 x 7.  I use SMS messages to inform me of any databases and server problem that must be solved immediately.  With the PRE, the sound is so light that I never hear it while I SLEEP.  The alert is too soft, too quiet, too short and sound identical to spam entering the phone.  I need an alert that will make noise.  I've owned three other phones palm I used for this same purpose and never had a problem before.  They were the Treo 300 600 and 700.

  Does anyone else have this problem?  Or people buy this phone as a gadget and not care about audible alerts SMS?  I think that people in the I / T field are the main users of this device and it would be a major difficulty.  I might have to empty this phone just for the next short if it isn't fixed soon or I might do a bad evaluation at work ( ).

  If you open the messaging application, in the menu drop down go to preferences & accounts. There is 'Sound' by default its alarm system. You can change into a ringtone to choose from all your ringtones, you can add any mp3 to ringtone PRE list which allows them to select what you want. This does not change your ringtone for calls, which remains the same.

  The email app, you can only use the default tone he has. Or you can turn it off, set to vibrate. These options are in the accounts section & Pref in the email app, click on the email account and they are raised.

• Passport for blackBerry that I don't get to receive sound notifications

  I was downloading the OS 10.3.2.2836 on my new BB passport as the previous operating system did not work well with sound notifications. Unfortunately, I continue with the same problem.
