  • Satellite L750 - no sound on the speaker or headphones - static

    Hello

    I have problems with the sound in my laptop for a few months. At first I thought that he would go away with updated drivers, which makes certain the alternatives system restore or changing audio device drivers high definition of Win 7, but I can't find a solution to this problem and today is getting worse. Right now, I can't have any kind of noise from the side if headphones or external speakers. Also, my sound disappears after 15-30 seconds of activity through the laptop speakers. I checked the forums and blogs on this issue, but still do not find a good solution for me.

    My model is:

    * Satellite L750-1VW *.
    * Code: PSK1WE-0U500ECE *.

    I checked on other systems, headphones and external speakers. So my guess is the Jack is the problem or I don't know. Yesterday, I remember getting a download of update of windows and then, from there my sound started getting static electricity to the right of the speakers and headphones.

    * First problem *: no sound after 15-30 seconds to be active while watching videos (vlc, wma, youtube, etc.)
    * Second problem * (recent): static, crackling noise, the right side of external speakers or headphones

    Any solution to this?

    I bought this laptop last year around may or April, can't remember the exact month. Thank you.

    Sorry my bad English.

    In my opinion, your options are very limited and all that you have done so far is good. You can check the settings of the software, test it with the factory settings or use the PC diagnostic tool preinstalled.
    Have you used this tool? He will check the sound of the waves on both speakers. If this is not the case, do.

    Anyway, I don't want to speculate, but somehow I think that there is hardware problem and I think that contact you the nearest Toshiba authorized service provider and ask for help. They use special software for the material testing and can say with certainty what the problem is.

  • Equium L40 - lost sound in the headphone

    Hi, hoping someone can help.

    My current audio driver is Soundmax Integrated Digital HD Audio. And from what I remember forever. I downloaded it several times on the Toshiba site for my computer and it always comes back to this driver.
    The problem I have is that somewhere along the line he lost his in the helmet. I can say is if I have a hardware problem or if the plug is broken. I installed Windows 7, but the problem was there when I got the original program of Vista installed.

    A few things, my system tells me (not sure if it helps)

    Location 0 (internal high definition Audio Bus)
    C:\Windows\system32\drivers\ADIHdAud.sys
    C:\Windows\system32\drivers\drmk.sys
    C:\Windows\system32\drivers\portcls.sys

    If I can't solve this problem because it's taking someone can tell me of another line to listen to I could use please? possibly to USB.

    Thanks for reading.

    Hey Buddy,

    You hear the sound through the internal speakers?
    This means that the problem is that the headphone jacket?

    I think that if the internal speakers work but not the external speakers or headphones that it seems to be a hardware problem. You also verified that the windows audio audio output port settings?

    In the worst cases, you need professional help of an authorized service provider. Here is a list of them:

    Hey,.

    What OS is currently installed on your computer?

    Is the headset itself works because you can listen to the sound with headphones so for now I doubt s a hardware problem

    In any case, perhaps the problem is only linked to its driver and updated it could solve the problem in your case, I would check the Web from Toshiba site to download the latest version.

  • Notebook Compaq CQ50 - 107NR PC-not to sound of the laptop without headphones

    No sound from the laptop without headphones... help?

    Until today, I was perfectly able to hear the sound in my Compaq CQ50-107NR notebook PC with or without headphones plugged. I have not upgraded or anything and I don't know how to fix it. It shows everything works well, but is not. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Hi rajiv puri,.

    Because that did not fix the issue, I suggest delete and then install the sound card and check.

    It may also be that the sound card may be disabled in the BIOS, probably only the edge can work.

    can you help me please?

    1. open the Device Manager and right click on Realtek High Definition Audio.

    2 Select this option to "Update driver software".

    3. click on "Browse my computer for driver software".

    4. click on "Let Me pick from a list of drivers on my computer".

    5. put the "Show compatible hardware" check box if not already checked.

    6. in the list of devices, click on 'High Definition Audio'.

    7, click on "next".

    8. in the update driver warning box, click 'Yes' (the driver).

    Install the native driver. Immediately test the headphones/speakers.

    If the list of drivers to step 6 do not include "High Definition Audio" then please use the Windows system restore. It is quite safe to use because if you don't like the results, you can undo the restore operation.

  • IDT Audio - no sound in the headphones - solved

    I recently had a problem that many reported having and I have since found no definitive, validated, fixes here is what worked for me...

    The problem was that I could hear from the speakers, but not in headphones when I plugged. After reading the other partners community messages (...) and the "Jack FAQ" message by Jimco I went to check if my problem was a HW or SW problem, but he went to this subject in a different way.

    I tested Ubuntu Live Desktop 12.04 startup to test whether there is sound in my headphones with a replacement driver, Linux and found that speakers and headphones normally apply in Ubuntu - so, obviously a SW problem.

    After you restart the computer and start back to Windows, I was surprised to see that the problem has been fixed in Windows as well.

    --

    Here are some more:

    -After detecting the problem in the first place, I rebooted the system several times (with two headphones in and out) without result, so there start Ubuntu which somehow solves the problem, not simply to reboot the system.

    -To detect the problem that I've been playing with different distributions of Linux (PartedMagic, BackTrack), so it is quite possible, one of them had caused the problem in the first place. (My current best theory is that there is a kind of a "logical switch' in the ITD firmware which can be handled without precaution to produce this behavior and has been reset by the Ubuntu audio driver.)

    --

    I would although he could someone having the same or similar problem try and confirm if this procedure (start in Ubuntu Live Desktop 12.04) help...

    A possible solution was picked up from another forum:

    -> "Playback devices".

    -> For each device:

    -> Right click---> Properties

    -> advanced---> uncheck the box 'allow applications to take exclusive control of the device.

    -> Restart

    I think that the IDT Control Panel may not be switching between the speakers and the headphones correctly, but others will have to test. I hope this helps.

  • Laptop play outloud sounds when the headphones are connected.

    I have a laptop HP Pavillion with Windows 7 Home Premium, with a built-in microphone. I use my microphone on my computer to make Skype calls using the Skype program. I plug the headphones in my phone to hear what other people are saying in my Skype calls, however when I do this, other sounds coming from my computer are read aloud and do not get played in my helmet, so all those who are in the call to Skype with me can hear some sounds I play my computer.

    I would make sure all the sounds my laptop plays at all always go in the headphones and do not always play outloud as not to disturb the other memebrs in my Skype calls. Please help :( Is there a solution to this?
