I read a few post on the forum, but I can't solve this problem.

Could someone help me.
Thank you!

Hi, I have a toshiba tecra 9000, in the last weeks that I had problems with my windows xp, so I decided to install win 2000.

2000 is more stable, but I had a problem with the wireless card... I installed the latest drivers downloaded from the toshiba Web site... wireless card is installed successfully, but when I run the client Manager there is no way to find my access point...

I have no signal and cannot find any network... can you help me?
    Thank you

The laptop is connected to the access point with the installed XP?

First, please be sure that your card wireless network has been activated on the laptop in the right way.
The switch on the side of the laptop and the FN + F8 should be used to activate the wireless card.

Does AP support the same standard as minPCI installed wireless network card wireless. I mean A. B or G standard.
The router and the card should support the same standard to pair properly

  • Problem WLAN Tecra 9000

    Hello

I have finally narrowed it down to my performace Tecra problem to the WLAN card and ask advice on what to do.

The symptoms are so: If the wireless card is active (not in market, just installed and active) the PC freezes for about 15 seconds every 60 seconds. (WLAN itself works very well when the PC has not locked up.). This is no immeidate (after priming) but will kick some time in the next few hours.

Looking at the Task Manager, the 'system' consumes 100% of CPU for three seconds separated from 4 points (which blocks everything upward) and it returns to normal for 50 seconds and then it repeats.

If I go into Device Manager and disable the Toshiba Wireless LAN mini PC card, the problem is immediately disappears.
When I try to re - activate the map (sometimes), the computer crashes with system 100% CPU usage.

    Thanks for your suggestions

    Tecra 9000 MB 784. 40Gb, XP SP3.
Driver WLAN is Aegere System 7.82.0.550

PS When the PC is cold started with the WLAN card enabled, the PC and the WIFI works very well for a while (an hour or two) then the symptoms kick gel.

  • problems with tecra A2

My tecra a2 crashes sometimes. The screen turns blue, and he said "beginning dump of physical memory. There is no consistency in what I do when this happens. The last time it was because I opened a pdf attachment, the time from before when I was using msn. Last time that the message was: problem caused by: ialmrnt5.
    All drivers are uppgraded.
I also have some problems with the screen. Both when running on batteries and adapter. The screen seems to "blink" (black towers) for about a half second. This happens fairly regularly and independent of this program that I use.

When I turn on the computer again everything seems to work normally, but it's really annoying.

The computer was bought in August, and had this problem all along.

I am grateful to all those who have comments or suggestions as to what is causing the problem.

OK, that first of all, the problem occurred while you were playing a game, it is very likely related to your video card.

Visit the Web site of the manufacturer for a driver update. If that doesn't help, check your RAM.

  • Strange sound problem with Satellite L740 TV outputs

I'm having a strange problem here... I googled this several times already, and I only found the same solution mentioned several times and the given solution * not * work is to me.

I have a Toshiba Satellite L740 running Windows 7 Home Edition Premium, with a 64-bit Intel Core i5 - 2410M @ 2.30 GHz CPU and 4 GB of physical RAM. My problem is the following...

There are two different TVs in my house that I regularly connect my laptop via HDMI cable.
The first is mine, and I can get sound through the TV very well when I plug it in.

Sometimes, however, I will disconnect the computer from my TV and not get any sound through the laptop because he's trying to output to external speakers to TV.

More importantly, when I connect my laptop to my * roommate * TV (the same make as mine, you mind), I can not all the sounds of his TV at all.

This is a recent problem. Until this morning, I was able to get noise from two TV very well and only sometimes had problems with sound through the laptop itself, which has been easily resolved by restarting.

It's just a hunch, but it's almost like * doesn't realize that there are two different TVs * that it is connected to my computer. Maybe it's stupid, I don't know, but be it, it's frustrating...

    * ALSO: * I've seen dozens of suggestions that I put my HDMI audio as default device. Yes, I did. It wasn't the issue. Is the same to activate my audio drivers in Device Manager. They are all turned on, so it's not that either. Any ideas?

It's a bit strange if you connect the laptop to two identical televisions and use the same HDMI cable to the TV.

Unfortunately, it all works automatically and I put t know if you can force your laptop to recognize two TVs on the same path.

In the worst case you have to do it manually in the sound properties > playback devices.
If it works with four mouse clicks you can change.

I tested my laptop with two different TVs.
At home, I have a Toshiba TV and at the office we use Sony. On both automatically get sound on the TV speakers.

If you will be able to find the solution please let us know.

  • Strange sounds coming from Tecra 9000

I recently a Tecra 9000 it was swell until it began to Crackle. I'm 100% sure that it is not the speakers. The sound seems to come somewhere around the hardrive it self and after the ticking, the system goes to a blue screen similar to the one that you see when it crashes.

    Hello

The strange sound could come from the HARD drive.
I put t know how old your HARD drive is there but maybe s a beginning of the end!
A strange rattling appeared on my laptop. After a BSOD, I wasn't able to boot up the laptop and the HARD drive was dead.
It was a simple disc HARD head crash. Something happens after a long use of HARD drive. My HARD drive was about 6 years old.

My Hp laptop suddenly has a problem with the sound; There is none!

The message "no Audio output device is installed" appears when you move the speaker symbol.

The laptop is now running Windows 8.1, but this problem happened weeks more than two months after it has been installed.

    Help, please!

Hi all, well, I finally found a way to solve my problems of trawling other support pages and find tips on this page.

    http://h30434.www3.HP.com/T5/TouchSmart-PC/IDT-high-definition-audio-Windows-8-1/m-p/3012423#M21768

Really, HP, you need to make it easier for people to solve their own problems when the corrections are as simple as that.

I went to the Device Manager (be found easily by pressing the Windows key + X), open the "Sound" folder, right click on the device audio and selected "update drivers".

Of course, I had weeks of no sound and the fix was simple, but not easy for people who use their computer with confidence, but aren't experts in their functions behind the scenes.

I have someone else solve sound frustrations I had hope. "

  • 610: HP TouchSmart 610 - sound problem with update of Windows 10

Given that I've updated for Windows 10 I lost the sound on my PC. In Device Manager, the IDT High Definition Audio Codec audio controller is not available. Watt I can do about it?

    Hi there @Fger

Welcome to the Forums of HP Support! It's a good place to find the help you need, so many other users, the HP experts and other members of the support staff. I understand that you have a problem with sound after upgrade to Windows 10. I'm happy to help you with this.

In Device Manager, does show an audio device any or is it an element appearing as an unknown device? If there is an unknown device, then try to remove and then search for the hardware changes and see if it detects your audio files.

Then, if necessary, you can let 10 Windows find compatible drivers or updated using the following method:

How: install and update drivers in Windows 10 -answers.microsoft.com

  • Tecra 9000: After installation of SP2 Yamaha audio driver does not work

    Hello

I have a Tecra 9000, with a Yamaha AC - XG sound card.
The problem is that since I installed Windows XP with SP2 included, I lost my sound.

I also know that Toshiba is aware of this situation and they managed to post a solution for this. I tried this solution:

    Detail:

Yamaha AC - XG driver used the PortCls function to check the version of the operating system. XP Service Pack 1, PortCls function is changed, while the Yamaha rider cannot get operatingsystem version correctly. The operating system provides the Windows 95 version. This is why the operating system has a blue screen. That's why Microsoft has added that the solution and the clandestine drivers cannot work on SP1. This problem also happens to Windows XP SP2.
    Yamaha provides already the fixed driver Toshiba. The fixed driver version is the following;
    yacxg.sys 6.13.10.2152 with software synthesizer
    yacxgc.sys 6.13.10.3152 free software synthesizer

    How to solve this problem:
Install the fixed driver on a system before and after the installation of Windows XP Service Pack 2.
    Install as follows:
    (1) unpack a file attached to your hard drive.
    (2) to start the INSTALLATION. EXE
    (3) click on the next button.
    (4) select ' Yes, "I want to restart my computer now" and click Finish.

A toshiba engineer told me that first of all I need to install the old driver "5.12.01.3141", and it worked ok, but still no sound.
And then he told me to install the "6.13.10.2152" version, but it didn't. I got the error message "the driver was not installed.

I already tried many different drivers, including generics and the yamaha riders.

Please tell me a good solution for this problem if possible.

    Thank you very much

    Hello

Do you get the CD of Windows XP Home edition without SP (or perhaps including SP1) facility somewhere? Tecra 9000 is old enough laptop model (6 years) and maybe you should start installing OS like original recovery image.

Install Windows XP without SP home edition and configure all hardware components. After doing this update to SP2 brand. Maybe this order facilities will help you to have BONES works.

    David Paulsen

    Hey,.

Operating system you have on the laptop is the original or have you installed another?

The "tridxp4.dll" file is in relation to the display driver so that you can download and install the latest driver from

    See you soon

P.S. If you have installed the operating system from an original cd, you will need to follow the order of installation (for all OS) link below

  • Problems with the installation of Win 7 on a dual boot Win 8 computer

I recently bought a new all-in-one computer with an operating system of Windows 8.  However, I have a program that should be used on a daily basis for which a version of Win 8 is not yet available.  I bought a copy of WIn7 and partitioned the terabyte of hard drive with the intention of installing Win 7 in the new partition and the dual boot of the computer.  However, when I try to install Win 7 from the installation disc, it error with an error message that says in order to restart the installation.  No matter how many times I reboot, the error message occurs at the same point - a few seconds after the message appears saying that the temporary files are copied.  What is the problem?

Of new computer models that are preloaded with Windows 8 have no support for Windows 7 and there is no native driver Windows 7.

In addition, when you install older versions in a dual-boot configuration, you must install the older version of Windows (Windows 7), then first 8 windows.

I recommend to install your Windows 7 in a virtual machine program and use the program here:

You can use alternatives such as Oracle VirtualBox or VMWare Player.

    https://www.VirtualBox.org/wiki/downloads

    VMware Player;

    http://downloads.VMware.com/d/details/player_401/dGpkYnRwd3didGRwQA==

Or you can upgrade to Windows 8 Pro and turn on the built in Hyper-V that you can use to run Windows 7.
