sound themes iDVD in sierra

Hello

in iDVD 9.1.2, after upgrade to 10.12, sounds imported into iTunes in the iDVD themes part is silent.

I tried different formats (AIFF, AAC) does not. The sounds file in the media, but when setting browser in the

well, it won't play the preview.

Otherwise, the contents of the DVD in preview sounds good.

Do I missed something or what is new under macOS.

Thank you

Gerfried

It is a complement to the entrance of the former.

Unfortunately, the output as disk img or TS files fails with the error of the encoder.

So I tell me goodby old iDVD. That comes on the heels of the premature exitus of FCE HD (3.1.5) in the Sierra.

Built in obsoleteness, a brand of Apple! As Apple fan for a long time, I am really frustrated.

I'm clinging to my old MacBookPro limp autour with Yosemite.

CCleaner is a very good program, as long as you do not use its
features of registry cleaning. In fact, I recommend strongly against
    using any registry cleaner.

Registry cleaning programs are all snake oil. Cleaning of the
registration is not necessary and is dangerous. Let alone register and
do not use any registry cleaner. Despite what many people think, and
What software record cleaning suppliers are trying to convince you,
have unused registry entries is not really make you hurt.

The risk of a serious problem caused by a registry cleaner by mistake
delete an entry you need is much greater than any potential benefit
    It can have.

Let me stress that neither me nor anyone else who warns the
use of registry cleaners never said that they always cause
problems. If they have always caused problems, they would disappear from
the market almost immediately. Many people have used a registry
cleaner and never had a problem with it.

The problem with a registry cleaner is that it carries with it
the risk of a significant problem. And since there is no
benefits of using a registry cleaner, running that risk is a very bad
    good deal.

  • Why can't add sounds to mail to Sierra

After the upgrade to Sierra, I would add is no longer a 'personal' sound of my files to act as my 'new message '. The sound folder is locked and I have, even as an administrator, can't unlock it or add sounds in the folder.  All I have now is a drop-down list of predetermined choice of Apple, and none of these things include the addition of new sounds.  Preference once gave me the choice to go to my files, I have more choice. Can someone tell me how to add my own sounds?

  • No sound after upgrade of Sierra

After the upgrade to Sierra, I have no sound.  Did a search, which was told to reinstall the operating system.  However, when I try to reinstall, it says I can't because I have a latest version.

    Any suggestions?  Thank you...

FWIW, it looks like you were in the public beta program and don't exclude therefore ended up with a 10.12.1 beta that would be most recent. All you can do is to wait for the release of the new version of Sierra.

It could be something else, check 'about this Mac' and see what version it says is installed.

    Hi BTKpickle,

    Welcome to Microsoft Answers Forum.

There are several possible causes of the problem:

    ·         The microphone isn't close to capture your voice. Make sure that the microphone is positioned close enough and you speak directly into it.

    ·         The microphone is cut in. Some microphones have an external control for muting. Make sure that the mute control is disabled.

    ·         The microphone input level is too low. Make sure that the microphone input level is set correctly.

Entry level to adjust the microphone

    1. Open Audio devices and sound themes by clicking Start , clicking onto Control Panel, hardware and sound, and then clicking its.

    2. click on the recording tab.

    3. double-click on the microphone you are using speech recognition.

    4. click on the tab levels and then use the slider to adjust the entry level for your microphone.

    ·         The microphone connections are not properly attached. Make sure that microphone cables are intact and unbroken. The connections to the computer can be loose, so unplug the wires and reconnect them by ensuring that they fit.

    ·         A different microphone is selected to be used with speech recognition. If you have more than one microphone installed on your computer, that bad could be selected to be used with speech recognition. Make sure that you use the microphone selected for speech recognition.

Change which microphone is used with speech recognition

    1. Open Audio devices and sound themes by clicking Start , clicking onto Control Panel, hardware and sound, and then clicking its.

    2. click on the recording tab.

    3. Select the microphone that you want to use with speech recognition, and then click set as default.

Check the documentation that came with the microphone for additional troubleshooting information.

See if you are able to complete the installation wizard.

  • Media Player sound quality is poor.

Why the audio in its _crap___ Media Player? I can play the same tracks with Realplayer and it sounds good, so I know that all the speakers are connected in law, there must be a problem with Windows Media Player.

I tried to adjust the settings in Realtek Audio Manager and the equalizer in the drive, but it does not help.

    Hi korn11,

Try disabling optional speaker effects that are collectively known as improvements. If the disabling effects speaker solves the problem, it means generally that there is an underlying problem with your audio driver. If an updated driver is available, we recommend that install you it so that you can re-enable improvements audio speaker.

    To disable improvements audio speaker

    1. Open Audio devices and sound themes by clicking Start , clicking onto Control Panel, hardware and sound, and then clicking its.

    2. on the playback tab, click speakers, and then click Properties.

    3. click on the tab improvements and then check the disable all enhancements .

If you do not see the enhancements tab in the speakers properties dialog box, these features are not available for your speakers, and this procedure is not applicable to your computer.

If disabling audio enhancements solves the audio problem you are having, this indicates usually that your audio driver needs to be updated. If disabling audio enhancements does not resolve the problem, contact your computer manufacturer for assistance.

  • Manufacturing of Windows Media Player ".". WMA files"sound like a scratched CD

Windows Media Player has recently started playing all back '. " WMA files"as they were damaged / scratched CD being played.  But when I take these same files to another program of reading, they play perfectly.

When I start to read the file, I see the message "Change the media" and this may take a few seconds to more than a minute before the file actually starts to play.  Random playback when audio will jump sometimes, exactly in the same way he could play a scratched CD.  It repeats or taking a break before you continue reading.

Then when it arrives near the end of the runway, HE STILL blew.

After playing with it I finally understood that the jump at the end of each track has been the program of preparation for playback of the next track.  Because, when the next track begins to play there is no delay in reading.  But if I manually change the track then I get the message 'Change media' and delay important.  I think that the two are linked.

As I said before, it started a few weeks ago and occurs only with Windows Media Player.  I in other audio programs, IE. Creative, don't do that.

Furthermore, to the best of my knowledge nothing new has been added to WMP, IE. New Plugins, etc.

Any ideas on what is the cause and how to fix.

    Thank you

    Hello

The problem happens only when you play wma files?

Disable audio enhancements and see if that fixes the problem.

original title: 5.1 surround sound does not work properly on windows 7.

5.1 Klipsch surround sound does not work with windows 7.  WM player and library itunes only play on two rear speakers.  System works fine on excerpts from concerts to youtube.  Worked well previously on XP.  Have seen a lot of forums with people having the same problem but no solution.  Anyone? Thank you.

    Hi K Johnston,

    Please contact Microsoft Community.

I understand from the description of the issue that you are having problems with setting up 5.1 surround sound speakers. Let me know if this isn't the issue.

    (1) have you tried setting your speakers upwards through the speaker configuration window?

Method 1: If this isn't the case, I suggest the steps to configure your speakers and check if you are able to select the surround speakers in the speaker configuration window.
    Set up your speakers
To set up your speakers for the best sound, follow these steps:

    (a) Open Audio devices and sound themes by clicking the Start button, click Control Panel, hardware and sound, and then clicking sound.
    (b) click on the playback tab, select speakers, and then click Configure.
    (c) under Audio channels, select which speakers are present in your speaker configuration, and then click Test. You should hear a tone play in each speaker. Click next and follow the instructions to continue the Setup process.

Method 2: If you have no option to select the option of surround speakers in the speaker configuration window, then it seems that you don't have compatible drivers for surround speakers set up on the Windows 7 computer. So, I suggest you to contact the manufacturer to obtain compatible drivers for the surround speakers.

I hope it helps. If you have problems in the future, please let us know. We will be happy to help you.
