Sound will not play on my uploaded personal videos.

I use Windows Media Player. Sound works perfectly for the downloaded music and video and CD audio will not play on my uploaded personal videos. I have the software to manufacturers, but they told me that it is a Windows problem. Ideas for a solution? Thank you very much.

Download Media Player Classic "not stable", without any fear.

Install it and play your files 3gpp without problems.

Download button is on the right.

FFDShow has no need to be open, if you can not get your audio to play because you do not have the appropriate separator installed.

Media Player Classic doesn't have this divider.

A bit of theory:

A video file is usually identified by its extension ("avi", "mp4", "mkv") etc.

These are only "containers" like a box.

Inside them, we have streams encoded in different formats (video, audio, subtitles, etc) (for example: audio in MP3 or video in Xvid or MPeg, Dolby etc..)

So we need two tools:

1 to open the container and separating ("separator") flows

1 to decode the different streams, which was the intelligence of reverse the encoding into decoding. It is the role of ffdshow.

What you're probably missing is the separator to separate streams. Try Haali splitter media (http://haali.su/mkv/). This should allow ffdshow to watercourses and that WMP works.

After return your results.

  • WMP will not play dvd - r with the video on this subject:

Audio WMP plays well. But no video. My panasonic dvd player (about 4 years) there will be no more. A friend told me to go on a free website, www.filehippo. to download a "fix." Don't know what I ' d be downloaded, because I am NOT tech savvy. " I have download all 'old' versions as my friend says. I tried windows again, not good. Used the two bays of dvd in my lap.     I am at a loss, my ignorance, but I could sure use some SIMPLE instructions as to why and how to fix it.

I tried the Windows Fixit tool, but no help.  ALSO, I frequently get a box of Windows ERROR when you try to load files from the web or e-mails down. It usually says: windows cannot open this file: unrecognized program. "Then it tells me to click for the solution, but don't know which software to use and I stop trying, cause the error message arrives for this too. sigh.

I know it's probably a 'newbie' question, but your help would be appreciated. I think this question will come and the problem with windows is not not able to download is fairly common as well. Thanks for any help.   Sincerely, debbie in Florida.

Hi, I think I've gotten help to solve my problem with playback of DVDs with different codes that WMP will accept. I downloaded a NEW multimedia player of BS to WWW.filehippo.com/download bsplayer/8842/who worked for the media BS player. I got help with THAT download to get, I got the SECOND version listed on the left column. Now works on computer, next step is to get the "firmware" for Panasonic download on my dvd player, and it will play as well. • MIDI sounds will not play in my laptop. (To compose)

Hello forum that I ran out of ideas on what to try.

I run an EO G5060 of HP with Vista Home, a dual core 1.86 processor, 2 GB of RAM and "Conexant high definition SmartAudio HD2 ' sound card.

I tried to 'compose' midi music using programs such as Cakewalk but for some odd reason despite having chosen the options you need, I can't manage to get a single MIDI product. In the piano roll window in the program (where there is a virtual piano where you can click punch in the notes you want to write) you should hear the piano or any instrument you choose to make a sound when you 'press '. In my computer, it's just silence.

I know my sound card may seem trash, but it is a relatively "new" computer (2007), especially compared to my PC in 1998 with an antique Sound Blaster Live! a card that has no problem whether play and record MIDI. I mean, is it noon by the love of God, I refuse to believe that my sound card is unable to play at noon.

I recently tried to use the external keyboard of my friend (a 49 X Board), in the hope that an external hardware will break somehow my computer from his silence at noon. But none. After you have installed the thing with all the drivers and software, I tried punching in a few notes, and even if the interface of the program recognizes that his given orders (the keyboard and the 'light' in program lights when I press the keys and parameters), there is always silence.

I feel I'm missing something ridiculously simple yet I am of ideas now.

    Thank you in advance.

  • models of sounds will not play

Windows has stopped playing almost all the scheduled windows sounds. It won't even play the default windows sounds. Sound plays on Windows Media Player when called individually.  The speakers seem to work well.  It will be not just play MOST of my model of sounds or sounds by default.  This happened after defrag the C: partition, backup files and do a scan complete antivirus.  I had eliminated as just a backup partition which was too small to use longer and transformed space to be used for my photo files.  All the sounds have been maintained on the main C: partition and should have not been affected.  What gives?  Can someone help me with this please?  Thank you for your attention.

    Hi Cynthia,.

Did you change your computer other than defragmenting drive C?

I suggest you to follow the steps and check if it helps.

Note: SFC system gives an administrator the ability to scan the files all protected to check their versions. If the System File Checker detects that a protected file has been replaced, it retrieves the correct version of the file in the folder cache (% Systemroot%\System32\Dllcache) or the Windows installation source files and then replaces the incorrect file. System File Checker verifies and repopulates the cache folder also. You must be logged in as an administrator or as a member of the Administrators group to run the System File Checker. If the cache folder is damaged or unusable, you can use the sfc/scannow, sfc /scanonce or commands sfc /scanboot to repair its contents.

  • system sounds will not play

    Dear Microsoft,

I felt a strange problem I was wondering that you could help me with.

For almost 48 hours now that I've lost the ability to play sounds on the computer system - don't be fooled here; I can play sounds through my headphones or the speakers, and I can play the audio file system in other programs.  It is only when you try to play through the 'Sounds' of the volume control Manager tab, all I get is an odd clicking effect.

It's almost as if the executable responsible for controlling audio files, performing the action attached, stopped working.  Can you tell me how to reset this feature?

    Hi Hyncharas,

Were there any changes made on the computer before the show?

To resolve the problem with system sounds, follow these methods:

    Method 1:

I suggest you to follow these steps and check if you are able to hear the sounds of the system:

    a. click Start , click Control Panel.

    b. click hardware and sound and then click sound.

    c. on the sounds tab, make sure that its regime is set to default Windows.

    d. on the Communications tab, select reduce the volume of other sounds of 80%.

    e. click OK.

    f. check if the problem persists.

    Method 2:

You can also check out the link to correct sound problems and check if it helps:

Tips for solving common audio problems

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/tips-for-fixing-common-sound-problems

    Method 3:

If the problem is not resolved, try to restore the system to an earlier point of time before the problem occurred and check if it works:

    In Windows 7 system restore

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/products/features/system-restore

For more protection, use System Restore backup and restore, which is designed to help save email, photos, documents and other personal files.

  • Sound will NOT play.

I scanned a few discussions here on the sound of some people invoke to correct but nothing has worked for me so far.

    My file config.xml

    Script:

    var playerInstance = new  blackberry.audio.Player("local:///woosh.mp3","audio/mpeg", true); playerInstance.play();

I tried to add playerInstance.play (); tag to where I need it in my app, but it still fails even on real devices. Is there something obvious that I'm missing or broken API?

First of all, put these 2 lines of the element feature completely:

Then put the mp3 file in the folder of your application root.

  • Photo Gallery will not play the new game camera video. I don't get colors type screensaver, drawings and models, after downloading the pictures.

My system is Vista.  Game camera is a Bushnell HD and I can download from an SD card or a direct cable to the photo gallery.  However when I play the video all that can be seen is the same type of screen saver of colors and of protections in motion seen when playing music.  The sound of the segment can be heard clearly, but you don't see nothing recorded.

    Hello

Thanks for posting your query in Microsoft Community.

I understand from the information you have provided to us, that you are facing problems during playback of videos in the Windows vista photo gallery. I will certainly help you in this matter.

What is the format of the file?

If Windows Movie Maker is installed, photo library will play videos in these types of files

ASF, AVI, MPEG and WMV. Not all editions of Windows Vista come with Windows Movie Maker installed.

  • Windows Media Center will not play a DVD, I get video with a loud noise and no soundtrack.

When you try to play a DVD in Windows Media Center or media player, the video starts, but there is a loud cracking sound with no sound of music.   This Media Center has played the DVD in the past.
My system is: Vista Home Premium
    NVIDIA GeForce 8500
    Hauppauge Win TV HVR-1600
    Realteck HD audio
    ViXS Pure TV - U 48BO

I checked these devices using HP Hardware Diagnostic tools and they work.  I uninstalled the drivers and reinstalled.  Also updated all the drivers.

Reading this forum, I tried to delete the file from library: %LOCALAPPDATA%\Microsoft\Medial Player

  • My Windows Media Player will play the video of an MPG file, but it will not play the sound. What is the cause?

I do video editing.  I transferred my camera video file and Windows Media Player played the video and audio very well at the beginning.  I edited the file with editing software and exported the file again.  Now, the sound will not play using WMP but it will play if I use video editing software.

As a result, I've uploaded new files from the camera and now WMP not give me sound on those either.  If something seems to be affected by my WMP.  Any help you can give would be much appreciated.

    Hi rgosmond,

    (a) don't you get any specific error message when you play the video?

    (b) what is the file format of the resulting video file after editing by using the video editing software?

    (c) you are able to play the files on the computer? You hear the sound?

I suggest you try the following steps:

O make sure that windows MediaPlayer is not muted, press F7 on the keyboard to turn the sound back on.

Ø check if the volume is at a minimum in Media Player, press F9 on the keyboard to increase the volume.

Verify that the default audio device is correctly set

    1. click on start, type Sound in the box to start the search.

    2. click on sound in the results of search at the top of the start menu.

    3. click on the tab reading notice the check mark next to the default device. For most users, the default device is speakers. Make sure that the audio settings are configured as expected. Follow these steps:

    4. on the playback tab, select the playback device, click Properties, click the Advanced tab and make sure that the default Format is set to the value you expect. When you are finished, close this window to return to the previous window.

    5. on the playback tab, select the playback device, click on configure and make sure that the configurations are set correctly.

    6. If the sound settings are well positioned, you are using speakers as the audio device and your speakers are already set as the default device, go to method 5 now.

    7. Select the audio device you want as the default audio device and then click on set as default.

    8. click OK to save your settings and close the sound dialog box.

Now, check if the problem is resolved.

  • Why my video preview will not play on Windows Movie Maker?

I worked on a video in Windows Movie Maker, and now it will not play my preview of the video.

More than likely one or more of your source files are not
fully compatible with Movie Maker or the project is too
large and/or complex for your system resources.

Several formats are apparently compatible with
Movie Maker, but the most reliable choices are:

    Photos - bmp
Video - wmv or dv - avi
    Audio - wav, wma, wmv

It may be interesting to try to create a small project

Sometimes, it can help if you are going to... Tools / Options /.
