  I do it with a G4 OS Tiger and the Mavericks MacBook by plugging into an Ethernet jack on my router and by enabling the sharing of files on the G4 in System Preferences > sharing.  If items are placed in a folder called 'Public', it can be read by anyone on the network by logging in as a guest. Otherwise, if I login with my user ID on this computer I get access read/write for all of my folders.

  Once you have downloaded Acrobat Pro DC, begin the 'demo' and provide the Adobe ID (if it is a subscription) or the (if allowed) serial key to activate the software through the Activation dialog box that appears.

  Please, try the following steps:

  1. remove the existing tools of the VM of the Panel--> uninstall a program

  2. restart your virtual machine and install the VM tools grouped.

  3. If the problem persists, make sure that the preference of mouse in VMware Fusion--> preferences--> game is NOT set to 'always optimize the mouse for games'

I struggle, I can upgrade CS5 to CS6 for $525 now and be good for the next few years, or at least until I see what new features are coming that miss me. We had the chance to recover his files before he died forever! That was the good part... I had to resume at Tiger Direct, where they installed a new concert 320 H/D and re-installed Vista. Because she graduated she had two of the residence and turned my basement into a hoarders paradise, lol point being that she has no idea where his original disk is so I contacted Lenovo who assured me that they would send me a copy of Vista (how naïve of me) they me sent recovery disc (two games not less and it took more than a month!) that I discovered after the fact that I could have burned my own through Neo-Smart...

  There is one thing that still bothers me and that's when we first pulled his new Lap Top for the first time and installed Vista I remembered that the very last paragraph said to make your own copy of the o/s before your done... what was not done! Is it still possible to make a copy of its operating system now? If Yes, how would go about this, if I wait for her to do it, it will not! She was lucky that I was able to use a slave to its hard disk of my XP Sata-IDE cable and get its files on the drive before it me locked. It has an external H/D as most of the people who do not know how to change their scores on the top of their Tower and get the full use out of them as desk top users do.

  and once you have replaced your hard disk you have lost the ability to do the recovery disk from the recovery partition that may have been defective hard disk

• Pro LaserJet M1212 nf mfp: Pro LaserJet M1212 nf mfp new ink cartridge prints on the desktop, but is no longer in the laptop!

  My printer is on a network home, connected as follows: desktop computer (USB); laptop (wifi).  I installed a new toner cartridge (secondary market) to replace an empty ink cartridge (secondary market).  Printer initialized and started on 'ready'  No error message.  A sheet of test sent my desktop prints fine, but my laptop refuses to print.  I have re-installed the latest version of the HP printer software/driver, printing and Scan Doctor (P & SD), which States that I have an error "printer."  I re - run P & SD several times, and at one point, a pageprinted test, but now nothing.

  Solved!

  Turns out that my installation of a new toner cartridge somehow missed to the top of my firmware, which reset the IP that my phone listed for my router.  So, I restarted the printer default, then re-installed the printer on my laptop and desktop with the latest firmware.  I needed to set the IP address - type it manually in the portable installation wizard - because the laptop kept one IP incorrect broadcast by my router, (which is meaningless, but there you have it).  Thanks to Sam in Calcutta.

  You must take good care of your equipment.

  If you are short of space, you should consider an iMac. You get a little more power (and an absolutely wonderful screen), in a pretty small format of all things considered.

  If you want a Windows laptop, Asus, Lenovo and Dell XPS are all very good choices. This particular ASUS machine (the UX501VW Pro ZenBook) seems perfect. Big screen. A lot of power. And a MacBook Pro or Dell XPS with similar specs is $ 500 more.

  My Macbook Pro running El Capitan 10.11.6 shows my printer HP (envy 110) as offline after a print or scan session. I have to restart the printer each time I use it, and then the Mac it falls again after printing or scanning session.

  I loaded the latest drivers on the Apple site without success. The two are on a wireless home network.
