Space required for backup to disk more files
How can I increase the space in my Recovery(D:) parce que je veux sauvegarder plus de fichiers.) I get the message disk space insufficient, even after a cleanup is performed.
The recovery was put there by your OEM for the recovery of a factory default state.
Buy an external USB disk for backup on. Backup to the same disk hard physics is not a backup, if the hard drive dies, you lose your original and all backups.

How long lasts this string? +
+ So, in other words - it depends. Development environment might include a database logic dev (containing data from prod), one database Q & A logic (to test changes in dev) and a complete copy of the prod database logic (to test the final deployment).
It could contain an R & D environment - where all data from prod is necessary for data mining research and then to deploy processes of extraction of useful data in the production.
It could be used in a number of ways - and some of them will be more intensive in the transformation and requiring more data, than the production.
Ideally - dev environment should look like as close as possible to the prod environment. Ideally, that means a server hardware and similar size, same o/s and Oracle versions and same volumes of data.

Calculate the disk space required for the INDEX
Hello
How to calculate the disk space required to create an INDEX? Please tell me where I can get the details of resources.
For example:
I need to create a non-UNIQUE INDEX on the columns, an approximate size would do.
< PRE >
NOT NULL DATE EVENT_DATE
APPT_DATE_SLOT VARCHAR2 (15)
EVENT_STATUS VARCHAR2 (4)
< / PRE >
The table has some 7 300 000 rows. I would like to know how to calculate too.
All AIDS are very much appreciated.A rough estimate of the index space will need is possible by
adding the actual length expected from each column, plus 6 for the rowid, 2 for the number of the X-header of the rows in the table that will be so an entry
Date are 7 bytes internal + 15 + 4 + 2 + 6 = 34 X 7.3 M = 248200000 X General fresh for the block header, initrans, etc...
We will use 20% overhead block or 1.2 X 248200000 = 297840000, which is about 285 M
The actual distribution will vary according to your method of range tablespace.

Attempt to determine the space required for the migration of the opening...
Hello:
I'll put together a plan to migrate from Aperture to Lightroom. My research is coming short on a particular issue... If I use Adobe plug-in to convert, if it changes the file system existing opening, thus converting the Lightroom folder structure? Or, is, in essence, "duplicate" files by creating a new set for Lightroom and leaving the intact existing opening?
If it gives all existing files, I'm fine. If it is redundant with, I have to approach differently - since my opening set is about 400 GB, and I have about 100GB left on my drive.
I've almost worn out G for Google tries to find an answer. Your help is appreciated.
Thank you!
PS I posted this on the General discussion of Lightroom, but I have received no feedback.
The migration tool calculates the space required before continuing. It really depends on if your Aperture library is managed or referenced. In the case of a managed library, your images will be get duplicated in order to protect the opening of corruption. See this link for more information:

I copied the folder .thunderbird to another folder on my computer (Ubuntu on Dell Laptop) for backup, when I re-opened Thunderbird my accounts appear missing and it asks if I want to configure e-mail, etc. Then I deleted the file in double .thuderbird, hoping that this would fix it. On opening of Thunderbird, it is always as if it were a new installation - .thunderbird folder and files kept at the original location
I am hoping there is a simple solution.
Any ideas? - and yes I looked at a lot of books online!
It me - confused things fixed which happened, but fortunately I have lay profile .default right in the end!

Report BUILDER 11.1.0.7 (64-bit)
Form builder 11.1.2.1.0 (64-bit)
Windows 7 Pro 64-bit
Java:
Java version "1.6.0_45".
Java (TM) SE Runtime Environment (build 1.6.0_45 - b06)
Java for 64-bit Server VM (build 20.45 - b01, mixed mode)
IDAutomation LinearBarcode.jar
I have a report that prints the data with bar code on the detail rows in a report. It uses the Java LinearBarcode.jar by Idautomation package for this purpose. The Java package contains an encoder that returns a bar code in the form of a GIF image to a field on the report. One of the arguments that it requires is a name of temporary file generated by srw.create_temporary_filename (). When it works perfectly, and it creates the temporary image file in my folder tree 'House' (C:\Users\ < username > \AppData\Local\Temp) run under the report generator. When I run this report generator with fast running behind her I can watch the report search, open, read and close this file LinearBarcode.jar several times for successive lines of the report. Everything seems to be very good in the generator.
The fun begins when I try to call the same report from a FORM (Form Builder fleeing), where he fails every time, somewhere in the image generation stage. In my view, that it fails to the creation of the image itself, when he tries to open the file for writing temporary image. I can find the empty temporary files left after the report runs and fails, but the size of the file is zero byte. When I run this report of my test form with Microsoft quick run behind it I see the report search, open, read and close this file LinearBarcode.jar for the first line of data in the report, then the report fails. So, I know that the .jar file and the required REPORTS_CLASSPATH/CLASSPATH entries are synchronized with the location of the .jar file. The report runs, and he finds the LinearBarcode.jar, it opens, it reads and closes it. What I do is to not see any activity related to the image itself temporary file. Thus, failure at least gives the impression of being in the image create step itself, which makes me doubt the safety of Java. However, there is no message popup on Java security problems.
I tried implementing Trace for reports, but also, that does not give something of use, except to confirm that the report is certainly a failure in the creation of barcode code somewhere. This is known from the error message in the log file: fatal error REP-1401 < barcode create procedure name >
I'm guessing that he might be a missing 'writing' somewhere authorization prevent the creation of the temporary file used to generate the barcode image file. This error only occurs under Java (run from a form). I was not able to find something about it by reading everything I could find on the OracleBarcode.jar demo. I also not found anything in Google searches that does not count.
Are special permissions to allow these operations to temporary file as shown above? If Yes, where and how are they set? If this isn't the case, else anyone seen this issue before?
Thanks in advance
Hank
Resolved: This issue had nothing to do with the creation of barcodes. It turns out that there is a field in the State who had no defined source. It was not rendered because it was hidden by a format trigger. It seems that this case is handled by the constructor, but blew the engine in the reporting process used when a report is called by the forms. It took a long process of elimination, elimination of triggers, fields, parameters, and even the generation of bar code code until I found it.
Thank you

Disk space required for the restructuring of the DB
Hi all
Running Essbase 11.1.2.1
Sought a definitive answer to this and can't seem to find one, hoping that someone here can provide some clarification.
For the sake of arguments, if I wanted to make a '' RESTRUCTURING '' through the Regional service for a 50 GB database, how much free space will have to complete successfully?
A. probably simplified view (assuming the data must land on ora-ess01, have a few "Fireworks" and then go back to the DB), I imagine that something around 150% the size of the file would be sufficient, so about 75 GB free.
We are being advised by our consultants to have 250%, which would mean 125 GB... im assuming they are correct, because they know much more than we mere mortals (me), but if someone could shed some light on this it would be appreciated.
Thank you
JBYou don't mention if it's ASO or OSB. I'll assume BSO. That, to at least the size of your .pag, .ind, .otl, .esm combined files as it makes copies of all these. a little more would be food. Of course that would be the minimum and if a single database gets restructured and allow growth of DB.
With ASO, you need more space because it creates a copy in the temp directory for as well as the .dat file and so I heard the recommendation of 2 times your dat file, but I think you could get away with less.
I don't know what other factors are your consultant is taken into account I don't know your environment.
I should mention that it's for a simple restructuring, if restructuring is done by exporting the data, delete the DB and reloading, then much more disk is necessary because data would not be compressed on the disk in the export.

127 GB of disk space required for Windows XP?
I use the copy of XP comes with my computer 10 years ago. I upgraded to SP 3. XP is now 127 GB of my 142 GB disck drive. I think it should be less than 70 GB. How can I reduce the space occupied by Windows?
Thank you!
The brief flash was probably because you run msizap by double-clicking to open a command prompt window instead and it works there.
This is probably the best at this time for you to take the computer to a local store. I suggest does not go to a place geeksquad or type BigBoxStoreUSA, but you probably right that who take you to reinstall Windows. Don't forget to tell them to back up your data files (photos, documents, music, etc.) first.
Unless the Office was preinstalled on the computer when you bought it (and the store chooses to use the method of 'back to the conditions of the factory'), you must reinstall Office. You also need to reinstall other applications that are now on the computer. You need original installation media and product keys. Ask the shop to extract the product keys for your various applications before reinstalling Windows.
Good luck.

More space required for the automatic signature column after the email
I believe there should be more space for the automatic signature after the email because it is easy for the receiver to know all the details of the sender for example name, designation, company name, address of the company, business logo, fixed line telephone amendments and our mobile phones and even the site.
Other e-mail accounts provide more space for this purpose.Thank youGillAnd what e-mail program you use?

Space required for the upgrade to Windows 8.1
Hi, I have a 32 GB SSD drive in my XPS with Windows 8 14. This 4 GB is free. If I opt for the upgrade to Windows 8.1, it replaces the Windows 8 files or consume this extra space after Windows 8? Windows 8.1 download size is 3, 8 GB.
If I have problems with the hard disk space, is it possible to roll back the upgrade? Thank you very much!!You need 16 GBs minimum free space to accommodate the Setup routine...
16 GB for 32-bit
20 GB for 64-bit
If installation success does not, he will return to its original state.

Hey HKansal
you really need to buy a bigger hard drive
Make sure you have enough disk space to install SP1 (even though much of that space will be recovered after the installation). If you need a free space on the disk, go to onlinestrategies to free disk space .
Windows Update
based on the x 86: 1 200 MB
based on the 64: 1 500 MB x
Download SP1 from the Microsoft Web site
based on the x 86: 2 500 MB to 5 450 MB
x 64-based: 4 100 MB to 7 850 MB
Make sure you have enough disk space to install SP2 (though much of that space will be recovered after the installation). If you need a free space on the disk, go to onlinestrategies to free disk space .
Windows Update
based on the x 86: 684 MB
based on the x 64: 863 MB
Download SP2 from the Microsoft Web site
based on the x 86: 1.8 GB to 3 GB
based on the x 64: 3.2 GB to 5 GB

Patch authentication LEAP Cisco space required for Windows 7 64 bit Home Edition
Hi all:
I tried both Vista Business 32-bit PC and Windows 7 Home edition 64 bit for Cisco LEAP Authentication. The result is that Vista Bz PC can have authentication option Cisco LEAP under wireless security option, Windows 7 Home Edition 64 bit does not. After select, it works with the authentication LEAP of Cisco AP1041N.
May I know that Cisco can provide the patch driver file for authentication on Windows 7 64 bit home edition LEAP so that I can make authentication wireless on Cisco AP1041N?
Or any body knows a way to get this Windows 7 64 bit home edition to work with authentication with Cisco AP1041N LEAP?
Many thanks in advance and best regards,
tangsuan
Tang,
It seems that you can not use jump unless u install intel proset "supplicant" that supports only the drivers intel.
CHECH the link
http://www.SevenForums.com/network-sharing/3084-security-wireless-Cisco-leap.html
So it seems that give u the option for Cisco leap in windows vista is a software provided by intel. Microsoft or Cisco.
If you have intel driver u better contact intel if you want jump built in. If not then I don't know if anything will make leap to work built into windows. You need a global independent "supplicant".

Is make Journal required for backup of database hot and cold water?
Hi Experts,
Please explain--again it takes to backup of database hot and cold water?
Thank you
Did you backup managed user or RMAN backup. In RMAN backup, you only need logs archived. But in the cold backup managed user, you don't need the redolog also if the PB was properly arrested. Jut copy the DBF and controlfile and put it there to the target server and during the recovery of redolog files will be created automatically.
Please note that the database must be correctly stopped before cold backup is taken.
