Speaker power cable

I bought a new HP desktop computer and I try to move my speakers through him.  My speakers have a green Jack, who moved to the green port, but they also have a purple power outlet which went into a power port purple on the back of my old Packard Bell computer.  My new HP desktop does not have a port for the power plug purple and I don't know where to plug them.  For now, I have the Green Plug plugged into my HP desktop computer new and taking purple power plugged into my old desktop computer!  Thank you

Hello

E HP configuration (Beats Audio) jack), to the best of my knowledge, is the norm. I also have a sound card of high-end Soundblaster (SB) with the same (similar) jack configuration. I use a Bose speaker with a subwoofer system. Speakers attach to the audio output jack of subwoofer. A cable that connects the audio output jack of the PC connects to an audio jack on the subwoofer. The subwoofer supplies the speakers and the subwoofer to a power outlet.

Since diamond speakers have been connected to your Packard Bell PC as you described, I see no possible way that you will be able to connect to the speakers in the HP PC you bought. There seems to be no way to power the Diamond of the PC HP or any PC speakers, I have used over the past ten years.

BTW, I had a sort of PB in 1996. VERY exclusive.

  • iPhone 6 has ran out of battery juice, but won't turn on after connecting the power cable.

    Hello.

I have an iPhone SIMless 6 (iOS v9.3.2) who missed the battery nothing to juice and turn off the power. I plugged the white USB power cable to a Windows laptop, but nothing happened. No power on, sounds, etc. I even tried another power cable and the source (power supply AC adapter and cable for the iPad). I don't even know if it is supported or not.

    Thank you in advance.

If it is disabled on its own because of lack of power, it will take some time before he can return to the top.

Plug it in and leave there for at least 10 to 15 minutes.

  • MS A30 - battery charging when I plug in the power cable

    Hello

I'm having some problems with (I think) on my A30 power management utility. When I am running on battery power and I plug in the power cable, the battery continues to discharge even if the laptop 'knows' that it runs on the power grid (ie the utility says "current generator: alternating current.") "Online, discharges: 82%. Strangely, if I put the laptop in mode 'sleep', then resume, she goes back to normal (i.e. working on current alternative, the battery charges).

It is true, I think that this began after I installed "PC Pitstop optimize Scan" www.pcpitstop.com (please, not conferences - I used a couple of their public services before and they were very good, so I thought it would be too much), so I guess it's some sort of configuration problem, but I have no idea where to go from here. I went through all the options on the power management utility, but they all look sensitive. Any ideas (other than do not install software stupid, doubtful)?

    Kenny

    Hi Kenny,

I experienced this behavior on my A30 where the system says it works on current alternative, but still drains the battery and stops eventually.

In my case the problem has proved to be a loose DC Jack that sometimes cuts off contact with the socket on the back of the laptop. This momentary loss of power DC seems to provoke the power management utility switch to battery power, even though the DC power is restored. The only way out of this situation is to Hibernate / restarting the laptop.

I think that it is a problem with the power supply subsystem in the laptop that does not react properly when it encounters a momentary loss of DC. Then the Toshiba power management utility is no longer responds correctly and switches to the battery power.

My only solution to this was to anchor the DC cable to the back of my A30 so that there is now no chance of the plug DC moving in its socket. This has proved to be very effective for my A30 and I've had no recurrence of the problem.

  • End of power cable

    Hello

This morning I had a new power cable that my old one has stopped working. At first, I thought that my new cable has been broken or wrong type as I have to turn/adjust/wiggle it is correct so that it charges. If it is a fraction out of place, that it connects. I thought it must just be the fault of cables. Then I thought about the idea that maybe it's the laptop in place and here's why:

I'll take you right back to the beginning to give you all the information. Initially, I had the original Toshiba charger, but he left in a hotel while he was working in Australia. No problem, I thought and picked up a universal charger in a store of the local computer. And it has worked for almost 4 years. A few weeks there is the small part universal adapter between the cable and the laptop has stopped working. I reduced this only part trying small pieces of universal charger spare in other laptops, and they worked.
Then I went to a local pc repair shop and the man in the shop gave me an adapter between the universal charger (using a different part of laptop) and the laptop as a measure in the short term. It worked even if it was temperamental and had to be waved and tampered with so that it can work - as I do now.

The charger I received maybe is the problem?

    I enjoy any help/tips.

All you have to do is to contact the closest to the Toshiba ASP. They can check the database and find out which model is used with your model of laptop (part number).

  • Satellite C850-B820 shuts off when I take off my power cable

    Hello

I bought laptop Satellite C850-B820 2 months there is use to this normal subject, 2-3 hours a day, I was working on it without the power connected, the status of the battery was at 50% so I plugged in to recharge, suddenly power left and returned to 1 seconds, after a while, I took the power cable and suddenly he cut re plugged again and checked the status of the battery is completely charged 100%, someone has idea what wrong with it?

Maybe the disconnection of electricity makes the battery or motherboard?

    > Shows 100% recharged, but the battery has no effect, if I unplug the cord cut.

In my opinion, there are two reasons why the unit stops when you unplug the AC adapter.

    (1) battery failures and State of charge of the battery will not
    (2) electronic power supply motherboard is faulty. These electronic controls of the computer mobile power

I think you should check if the new battery would help to solve your problem.
But you said that the laptop is not very old, around the age of 2 months and so the warranty should still be valid.

In this case, you should not attempt to resolve yourself but should contact the service in your country in order to verify the device. He should be permanently guaranteed covered

  • For HDD power cable

Just bought a HP Envy 700-030qe CTO desktop PC. Because HP does not offer a hybrid drive SS I decided to install one myself and move the disc that came with the computer to the 2nd position in the car. Successfully, I have installed the new drive, restored the system and reformat the original drive using an external adapter to Apricorn. To complete the installation of the 2nd disk, you need the integral of separate SATA connector in the harness (no problem) and a power cable. The latter was not provided. Called HP support and they told me dryly that HP will not sell me the part since I did not buy a second drive hard when I bought the computer.

Someone finds a way around that stupid customer and very unfriendly HP political or otherwise know of a 3rd party where I can buy the cable?

Semibum wrote... "To complete the installation of the 2nd disk, you must the integral of SATA connector in the harness (no problem) and a power supply cable separate."

    I think you have that backwards... The power connector is the part that is "part of the beam" and you need to buy a separate SATA cable to connect the drive to the motherboard. If you follow the 'wiring' to its origin, it should go to food. The power connector/cable and SATA data connector/cable should look like;

  • Satellite Pro L20 - overheating of the power cable

    Hello

For several months, I had problems with the keys suddenly works intermittently. Although brushing under the keys with a toothbrush relieved the problem for awhile it obviously was not the main cause. Each time, so not attributable to each of the keys of damaged to different keys.

When unplugging the power cable from the metal part is very hot, and I worked on the problem of keys occurs only when the computer is running on a/c AND the battery is fully charged. In other words, no problem on the battery or recharging. The adapter is also hot, but guess that's 'normal '.

The power cable has been tested directly from another outlet and not ongoing execution of the usual belkin surge protector, external sources seem so plotted on. I tried to find another cable/adapter to test but living very rural location of doubt this will be possible or practical.

The fan seems to work OK, the air coming out of the side is very hot. It does not appear to be clogged with dust. Also, the area of the laptop above the fan heats up.

Sometimes the computer crashes on black or blue screen (on iplayer lately, maybe other progs too) but the noise continues. I turned off by pressing the button for 5 seconds, but he still works for a while. I guess from overheating. But not some of it is always on a/c-do not charge, it may be on a/c-charge as well.

Sometimes the computer seems confused if he is re-load, on a/c or battery. At least the icon switches and requires a session to unplug the device before doing things.

Other times it is the machine of Angel since last two years! It's a Satellite Pro L20, the adapter's clover LiteOn 65W, 19V 3. 42 a. part PA3396E-1ACA (what I see is no longer available).

Searched through but not found any similar problem, but hope someone can advise me what to do next!
    Thanks in advance

    Hello Robin

It doesn't sound good. According to the specifications of the laptop, you have the right AC adapter. In my opinion you should contact the partner of service authorized in your country. Make a call and I hope they can help you how to handle this issue.

It is also possible that they can send you new power adapter. Make a call and explain the situation. If you have need for addresses and phone numbers you can find under http://eu.computers.toshiba-europe.com > support & downloads > find an ASP.

    Good luck!

  • Satellite C660 - 115 WLan connection only works when the power cable is connected

    Hello

A few weeks ago, I bought a Satellite C660-115. I want to surf the internet anywhere in my house without any son/cables.
On the first day, I had this problem: when I disconnect _power_ cable, the wireless connection will stop working.

The Web page on my screen will always be there, but a new page loading is a problem.
It is sometimes useful to recharge (by pressing F5), - sometimes not. It is always useful to "ip address of repair", but not for long.

The only solution is to atach regardless of how much power the battery has still the power cord.
When I do, it is no problem whith the connection at all.
I went back to the store where I bought it, they related to their own wireless network and they have had the same problem after a few minutes. In the shop too attach the power cable solved the problem.

So the problem must be in my lap top, not in my network (modem or almost).

Doesn't this all seem familiar, and if so, how can I solve this?

I hope that my English is understandable, I live in Holland.
    Thanks in advance!

I have a Toshiba Satellite Pro A120, which has just begun to play up...

I regularly record music of my DJ Mixer in microphone of my laptop entry, recording in Adobe Audition.

Because the power supply makes a buzzing sound, I can't register with the power cable plugged... If I always record with the unplugged power cable, running off battery.

I've never had any problems before, but what has caused the problem, I now, was earlier the battery ran out while recording, put the laptop into hibernation mode.

Since then, I can't register with the power cable disconnected. He recorded only with the cable - which is not a good cause snoring.

It is not a problem with hearing, because in Windows Vista its implemented the problem proved too. As soon as I unplug the power cable, microphone disappears from view.

One of you lovely people have ideas? I checked power options and the Device Manager to see if theres no hardware issues, but there isn't.

I also reinstalled my sound card drivers.

It's strange. I guess you tried a boot cold fresh. Hibernation can sometimes cause problems with the devices.

    Try to update the BIOS.

If all else fails, you may need to reinstall Windows. (Backup your data and run recovery by holding down the button reset during power on)
