• MacMini-digital server: only internal speakers?

  I've implemented a Macmini with digital music files to play through my stereo system with a remote ipad. But the mini will play only with internal speakers, even if it detects the CAD that I use.

  I tried selecting the DAC in the audio section of the mini, and I open the Apple Midi file. Once again, the mini is aware of the CAD, but even when it is selected, the Mini sends the sound for only its own internal speakers.  Unknown yet, when I 'speaker setup' and test to the left and to the right, the sound test IS sent to the stereo speakers. Frustrating!

  I have the most recent Comcast router/Modem, it is the most recent available 4 months ago has the WIFI GigHz 2,4 and 5.  Here my question is the hook to the top of this time Capsule I just purchased seamless, I read the comments until I'm blue in the face, and I have a headache. I extend my network because COMCAST is weak and Spotty at best all the time. I guess I could call support, but if someone is interested in Chiming in I'm all ears on the more 'easy' most reliable hook for higher reliability and better coverage. I can still sit in the front yard some maybe 50/70 FT from the router/Modem and I stamp or bad connection until my iPhone or MacBook Pro to find my neighbors WIFI and attach to it? On the other side of his house more away from me, and it has the same Exact service.

  Just to let you know... You cannot extend the Comcast router using the CT by wireless. Which means that TC can never work as a Repeater.

  (Apple uses confusing terms... what they call extend wireless is coach throughout the world language).

  Plug the TC on the Comcast router by ethernet... and set the TC to extend by wire (which means ethernet).

  The easiest method is to just do it. Stop reading.

  Connect the TC on the Comcast.

  Open airport utility in your Mac.

  Click other devices with wireless (1)

  Make the wizard... Follow all the instructions and put your favorite name for the wireless and TC.

  Help, please. I have the laptop above, and the sound is driving me crazy, whenever I try to play music distortion, vibrating and cracking which makes it completely ruins the pleasure to try to listen to music, it seems worse, when the hard drive light flashes quickly.

  The noise problem is not only limited to play music, the sounds of windows system is just as bad.

  Also is it supposed to be this intermitant "whoosing" sound like waves on a shoreline of sea from the region of cooling fan?

  I m an owner of the Satellite L30 with Vista. It s my second notebook.
  I can listen to my mp3 without any problems! Everything works beautifully.
  The laptop is a little slower with Vista, but it's ok.

  One question; Have you noticed the same audio issues if you are playing an audio CD?
  It would be very interesting to know if the sound is bad if you listen to mp3 files stored on the HARD drive.

  Did you check the sound options? In the control panel in Vista, you should find the Realtek HD audio manager.
  It s also installed on my laptop.

  My niece has a laptop L300 in Control Panel - Realtek hd audio Manager l shows only 1 speaker setup which is for a pair of speakers, she has a pair of speakers 2/1 (subwoofer 2 speakers 1)

  Is it possible that I can add or change so that I can configure the 2.1 speakers.

I searched on the internet and at one point, I found an article under the helmet that says: Please make sure that your computer supports a 7.1 surround sound. Which made me think if I need a software pre-installed on my computer, or were which means that the description under the helmet download their custom software. Just because I don't want to spend money on the specs of my computer cannot run, so I came here to write this question I know not if I'm going to spend my money on something that my computer will not process.

  What you're watching isn't really true 7.1 headphones it simulates, it not there no such thing. If you want 7.1 speaker setup real physical and a card sound Sound Blaster FX that can drive these speaker setup. So don't believe that stuff.

  Thank you, but I think I found the problem in the form of balance buried in Control Panel > sounds such as described above. The subwoofer level slider has no effect, but is surround sound speaker - it's somehow controlling the sub! Which is strange because the speaker configuration is configured in the control panel for the L and R and sub - L and R speakers surrounds and center speaker are deselected.   I'm on a Dell xps 15 I bought 1 year ago. I started playing a few FPS games recently.

  As a first step, there is are not problems but now something really strange and annoying happens, every time I start my new game (or when the server change the level, the game is reset) I lose my stereo sounds, which is very important on FPS games (to see if people are to the left or right (even backward or forward if I have 5.1 headphones). The sounds come right in the Middle, as if a person on my right takes a hit, the noise is coming from both sides, it SHOULD just where the right earphone.

  To solve this I found a weird way, it's go to the Realtek HD audio Manager--> speaker / headphone-->--> change quadraphonic Setup speaker setup / 5.1 and then change to stereo--> back to the game and sounds come back perfectly.

  Actually I think it was the game that does not work properly, but I just got a new game and it played for a while, the same thing happen.

  What kind of problem is this you? and how to fix it forever? It's really annoying as a match lasts no more than 20-30 minutes. After that, I have to go to Alt - tab then redo things (as I do not play on a particular server, I change quite often server that do sounds wrong as well).   The problem has been resolved. I called our local computer store and they took the remote control of my computer and decided that, in the window manager Audio Realtek, the 'speaker setup' DD was somehow got moved from "Stereo" 5.1 speakers"fix that solves the problem but I'm perplexed that a configuration setting incorrect speaker should block the function 'In Line' leaving all other sound effects works perfectly; However, he seems to have done the trick. If this is not the first instance of parameters change in Windows 7 on their own accord.
