  Hi, I posted here with the same problem a few days ago, but no one has been able to help.  My sound/audio does not work.  I looked at devices on the computer and it says it works great and just installed it etc etc, but it will not make a sound!

  I tried to download drivers for the sound without a bit of luck, and to be honest I don't know which ones to download.  Any suggestions as to what driver should I download and where I could find on the internet please?

  I solved the problem. I was trawling in some forums and came across the message below.  I know that mine is a 60 X, but I thought I might as well check it out.  Lift the cover and hey presto has found that there are buttons volume above the F1 - F4 keys!  Simple as that!

  I currently get my Pavilion Mini hooked to a set of headphones Sennheiser wireless and, while I wait for my new speakers, I use the TV speakers that I use as a PC monitor.

  My problem is that on sounds defenitions, there no option to pass a pair of stereo speakers for headphones. The sound is distorted on the low frequencies and I think it has to do with her think that it deals with expernal speakers. I found once taking Realtek Control Panel, but I can't find it now. Don't do me no good when I did as she also would not allow me to tell him that the thing about the Jack conneceted 3.5 are headphones.

  I also have a 'DTS Audio Control Panel' on my tool bar (the thing on the right with the clock button, etc.). I don't know what it is or where it comes from. Is this a HP or Microsoft software?

  -Turn down the volume on the PC.

  -Change the speakers via the DTS audio Panel (it of one thing to HP and seems to replace the windows volume mixer but not vice versa.

  -In speaker properties, output quality seems to want to stay in the middle of quality regarding. Put in high quality you can.

• Satellite L650 speakers and sound output stopped working

  The sound in my L650 just stopped working all of a sudden. It was ok and then nothing.

  When connecting to the headphones, I can't hear a sound of crackling, that maintains the same volume regardless of the volume of system being 100% or mute.
  I don't have any other way to test audio output (no cables hdmi or USB speakers).

  Nothing has been installed recently. The drivers are up to date. Reboot didn't solve it. Uninstallation and reinstallation of its controller either.

  Everything looks fine on the part of the treatment (equalizer and its move from bars).

• Internal speakers - no sound on satellite A110-252

  My laptop is 2.5 years. 6 months ago the speakers started to die on me, crackling, etc., couldn't do a lot of volume out of them and now completely dead. There is no sound at all. I suspect that it's a hardware problem. Computer stores seem to want to get paid a lot of money just to open the machine and even in this case suggest that they are perhaps not able to do anything.

  Someone had a similar problem with their laptop in this regard. Of course, my laptop is now out of warranty. Surely speakers should last longer than that? I'm desperate for my sound back but don't know the best route to go down and less costly to try to fix it.
  I would be grateful for any help and advice.

  It would be very interesting to know if you can hear something using the headset.

  If the audio signal is available by using the headphones then this problem is certainly related to the speakers and it seems that the two speakers should be replaced.
  To me, it looks like a bad luck because it s really very rare that the speakers were going to die but nothing is impossible, as you know

  So in my eyes, the speakers and I think ASP in your country should be contacted to get a replacement.

• No Sound / Audio via HDMI with Satellite P840T

  I connected my Satellite P840T on my TV via HDMI Panasoni. Video works fine but no sound. The same cable and TV work fine with my laptop Del.

  I have read the forums, and we're talking about going into control panel > Sound > reading tab and selecting device HD Audio for playback, but on my P840T, IT IS No. HD Audio device for the indicated reading.

  I right click and checked the boxes to see the disabled and features show disconnected, but still nothing.
  I have download the latest drivers for the OEM Toshiba Intel HD4000 version show that the P840T seems to have, but still nothing. (The Audio drivers for the HDMI port part of the display driver right?)

  What else can I try other than to wait for the next version of the OEM Toshiba display Intel HD4000 version?

  .. and what audio playback devices are available next to the speakers?
  In my case it is not peripheral HD audio but the Digital Audio sound called.

  By the way: what system are you using? Have you installed the new Windows or do you use the preinstalled Toshiba system?

• The external speakers with bluetooth audio playback stops working after 20 minutes

  I have a weird problem with bluetooth audio on my Acer Aspire 7600U. I have a bar of his JBL SB200 with support bluetooth and when I'm playing audio to it from my laptop (Sony Vaio) or my phone (Nokia Lumia) it works fine. But during audio playback of the IOA, the soundbar goes off after about 20 minutes in the middle of a song with such as Spotify. I suspect it's something different with the Aspire AIO bluetooth adapter which does not sound bar to stay on. No idea why? Does anyone else have this problem?

  OK, so I plugged speakers to my new computer configured with windows 7 and have had problems listening to a simple song. When I use the speakers (I tried several different sets) the two speakers appear to play only the audio in the left channel, and nothing don't play the channel right, which means missing out on a lot of songs or watch: (.) The speakers are plugged into the making of lime on the back of the computer, and this problem occurs with each pair of speakers I'm looking for. When I use my usb headset, the sound is perfect. When I go into the sound Manager, I can "set up" speakers, and when the small figure lights up to let you know that all law is supposed to be carillon, carillon of two speakers. Even with the left. When I go to the Realtek HD audio Manager and test it, each speaker lights up and plays on his own, just as it is supposed to. If I connect to my other computer via desktop remotely, the sound works perfectly, each speaker playing its own channel. It's just when I am playing a song on my desk that I have problems. Also the problem with good windows media player and vlc player. Any assistance in obtaining of drew it up would be appreciated. Thank you!

  I had problems with IE11 and Outlook, both kept gel (not answer) more and more each day.  Outlook is still difficult sign in, I have to sign at least two times and once I got to sign on 7 times.  The drafting of emails, I'd get msg "cannot connect to Outlook - try again later. IE11 is also unstable permanently "unresponsive" my sound stopped working also and I found that he lacked Realtek HD Audio Manager.  It took nearly a week trying to figure out how to reinstall.  (I am 60 years old and not informed techno) Finally, I downloaded and installed (with no help from HP) but speakers still does not.  I approached then Microsoft Help Desk who suggested that reset IE11.  I did it yesterday and now all seems ok with IE11 and Outlook but I have still no sound.   Where to find the default settings for programs that use audio ie itunes, youtube, etc?

  I have only a couple of theories left to isolate the problem, but have no idea how to go on this issue.

  1. I received a msg when I lit the notebook from HP saying storage battery was low and the battery can be replaced.  I've never used this notebook on sector so I ignored msg but with freezes and random low cut that I removed the battery which seems to solve that problem, but I wonder if firm random downs could have damaged files, software or anything.

  2. Windows updates put things here that seem to be more for Windows 8 for example. Touch screen program.   Can we update caused problems for the sound on my laptop?

  I have run virus/malware programs with no threat found.  I also installed Glary to find and fix registry problems, but still no sound.

  Can someone help me please?
