Specific blue screen stop error Code

Hello.

I have a Dell Inspiron 6000, running Windows XP Home edition 2000 (SP3).  I had Norton Internet Security for years, so the registry is checked every day, with some minor repairs may be needed. Didn't need to defragment (less than 1% fragmented). But!  I ran CHECKDISK just to see how things were looking and he went to 4 of the 5 steps without apparent problem.  The 5th stage (which I don't remember the name) got at least 75% full. I went to a meeting, I had to attend, and when I came back, it was the BSOD with the little bit of "IRQ_Less_Equal", AND the following: (0x0000000c, 0x000000ff, 0x00000000, 0x80532a04)

I guess that these codes specifically the point on the problem.

I can't start. When even I want F8 or F10, I gives me the ability to restart in a variety of ways, and I always choose Safe MODE, since the BEST START PREVIOUS [sic] does not work.  I choose SAFE and confirms that Windows XP Home Edition is what I have, then get a page BACK to the drivers.  You've seen these mentioned elsewhere on this site.  Things like "multi (0)" and then even if the computer is flashing like it did something, the page just sits there.  I can't use it at all.  I'm panicking because of the content on your computer being critical of my inexcusable failure to save all.  I'm not super computer, but given the specific measures, would be certainly prepared to do everything I can to get the data back, if it does not get the ' puter running (which until that I ran CHKDSK, it WAS!)  Please, if you can help, I would appreciate massively and save what I ever would have faithfully!  Thank you and hoping that...

When you choose Safe Mode, which is the last thing on your screen?

If is mup.sys and XP think that there is a chkdsk waiting, XP running chkdsk backstage and mup.sys is the last thing you see before the end of the chkdsk command.

For example (if someone wants to try)... If you schedule a chkdsk to run at the next reboot, reboot safe mode, your screen appears to be 'stuck' on mup.sys while in reality, the regular chkdsk is now running.   You can say the system is not really "hooked" because the hard drive light flashes.  Finally, the chkdsk will end, and startup continues.

Sometimes people will be complaining about their system is stuck on mup.sys when (if ask you the right questions), you will find all of a sudden, they remember that they have a chkdsk in waiting, and that is why their system appears to be hung on mup.sys.

It is not to be confused with the other times when there is no chkdsk waiting and the system seems to cling mup.sys (which isn't the real problem in this situation anyway).  In these situations where there is no chkdsk waiting and the last thing you see on the screen is mup.sys, the system is not really stuck on mup.sys - it is hanging on what comes after mup.sys (and you can understand what it is and fix it).

Depending on the size of your hard drive, what options you have chosen with chkdsk and what chkdsk finds to do, the chkdsk command can take a long time – hours, days or weeks (so says Microsoft).  Disk 1 to I, I think that chkdsk takes more than 2 hours to run even when there is nothing for her to 'do' (I don't know exactly how long, but I know I can't stand it).

So if you are "hooked" in Mode safe on mup.sys and your hard drive flashes, you should try to wait outside because XP is just doing what you said to do, which was run chkdsk.  I can't say what will happen if you get impatient and push the power or reset button while chkdsk is running...

If you want to recover your data off of an external hard drive, you can do too - do not move the hard drive to another machine and many people do not have the luxury of another machine.  You can start your system on a bootable CD, you can do (no XP media required) and simply copy your stuff to an external USB drive or a big USB key.

I would use Hiren because there a lot of troubleshooting and recovery tools built in and has the appearance of XP and are a little more respectful of the average people like me compared to the CD of Linux/Ubuntu (see instructions too many and too much work if you're not used to it).

Do, or do not. There is no test.

    I need urgent help with my new Toshiba Qosmio X 300 - 13W (British model) that I bought in December
    I chose to install the 64-bit Vista Home Premium on the computer and the slopes of big thing until I HAV a work of high intensity for it as a game or to have several applications running at the same time:
    The screen goes black and the sound begins to "jerk" (repeat in a very short loop for awhile) before crashing to a Windows blue screen

    The microsoft Web site claims that it is a problem of PCI-E hotswappable with Vista but with a laptop that is not possible to phyically unless the hotswap happen somehow between the GeForce 9800 M GTS and the 9400M G during the games?

    I don't really know what is happening, but I intend to test my RAM and buy a new key if none of them produce the 'memory error' once again, but so far, the computer is running somewhat normally, which is better than nothing. Any advice you have would be great.

    Start by checking the integrity of your file system by using the chkdsk command.

    In the command prompt window, run the chkdsk command on the drive where Windows is installed to try to fix any problems on the afflicted player.

    Running chkdsk is fine, even if he finds no problem.  It won't hurt anything to run it.

    Assuming your boot drive is C, run the following command:

    CHKDSK C: /r
