Spectrum 13-3001sp RAM
Hello everyone
I looked in the documents on this model but could not find anything? -What are the 8 GB expandable?
Thanks in advance
I happen to have a spectrum 13 touchscreen Ultrabook as my loan product this year.
Mine has 8 GB of physical RAM installed.
In this model, the RAM is not extensible by the owner.
The RAM is integrated into the system board.
You must make your choice when you order the spectrum.

Spectrum of 13-4109na x 360 HP: question for HP spectrum 13-4109na x 360 Ram upgrade
Hello
I am looking to buy new spectrum 13-4109na x 360 HP and I would like to know if it would be possible to increase the 16 GB ram?
The product technique (https://store.hp.com/UKStore/Merch/Product.aspx?id=P5P13EA & opt = ABU & salt = NTB #merch - tech - specs) says 8 GB on board so I think that the answer is, but is - it possible that you guys can improve vessel?
Thank you
Jousset
It won't have anyone on this Forum. Page HP Store says on the spectrum:
Up to 8 GB of RAM
Multitasking without effort and get more work with up to 8 GB of RAM
So I think that they do not offer a 16 gig option. I sincerely doubt that you really need 16 gigs, but if you have it you will not be able to get on this computer.

4001nn spectrum HP x 360: RAM real frequency of spectrum HP x 360 4001nn
Hello
I bought a ultrabook of 4001nn spectrum HP x 360 is announced as having a frequency of 1600 MHz SDRAM. However, while they were inspecting its specifications using such programs as HWInfo x 64 and CPU - Z, I see that the SDRAM memory frequency is 800 MHz, or half the specified.
Am I missing something, or is the actual frequency of SDRAM half that announced?
Hello
What you see is correct because it's ram ddr3 (IE double data rate), so 2 x 800 MHz.
Kind regards

1. where is more detailed information on the specifications of the HP laptops? I went to store.hp.com, and the information is not very detailed, at least on the 13 t. What differentiates the 13D dx models? Is there a function to compare to store.hp.com?
2. what happens to this laptop keyboard screen rotates around the rear? The keyboard is still active? If this isn't the case, at which time he became disabled?
3. the screen is touch multi touch at least 10 points? What is it?
4. do this model have a stylus and place to store a stylus?
5. I can customize to 4 GB or 8 GB of RAM, it is 8 GB of maximum RAM that can be installed in the present? What kind of memory does it take? What is the speed of the bus?
6 has a SD card slot?
7 are there of the best photos with, ironically, a 360 degree view so I can see what ports/slots it might have?
8. What are the specifications of wifi?
9 there BT?
10 has an internal WWAN option?
I love the look of this spectrum x 360 and see it as a possible replacement for my Fujitsu T901 sustainable. But I fear that if the details are also brushed over that I can find, there may be other details, I don't think to check.
Hello
1. from time to time, HP may change the options so you should look at these options to see the differences. Whatever it is today is maybe not available/aplicable next week or next month:

3. you can use at least 10 fingers at the same time
4. you buy pen separately, I know the special leather cover.
5. you must make the decision when buying, it is not extensible.

7. the manual above will show you, but not in color
8. There are few options, see above

I am Brazilian and acquired in the United States thanks to a friend, a spectrum of HP x 360 Convertible Notebooh - Win 10 - i7-6500u - 8 GB of RAM - 512 ssd
He constantly showed an error on blue screen of death BSOD (Blue Screen Of Death) with the "MEMORY_MANAGEMENT" error
However, other messages such as "PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA (Wdf01000.sys)" or "IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL" or "KERNEL_SECURITY_CHECK_FAILURE" are also presented at other times.
Sometimes, after much searching on the forums, I've seen a lot of people complaining that the video driver was the cause of the problem.
As I read on the forums, follow the instructions to update the BIOS to the latest version (F.35), then put to update the driver Intel(r) HD Graphics 520 to the latest version available on HP website (20.19.15.4360 from 21/12 / 2015).
The mistakes continued. I abandon me when I noticed something new, be the subject of an investigation. After a long comment, I realized that when the laptop is powered energy he not crushed and does not give problems, he gave when the battery.
When removing the power supply, after a short period, about 5 to 10 minutes, the mistakes began to appear, and then the question arises:
-It would be the parameter in battery power settings that could be the cause of the error (like setting up optimization, performance, etc) or is it really problem in the battery causing the error?
-Because the estimated Win10 battery life indicator has no estimate of consumption, keeping the status always "computation". This last fact strengthens the thesis that the problem is the battery.
Before ask you, I used the HP Suport Assistent to the battery test and he informs that the battery is standard, which goes against my thesis which is the problem of power or the power configuration in a device driver (probably the driver Intel(r) HD Graphics 520). I did tests of memory and the SSD and quite normal.I decided to disable the battery driver in dispostivos Manager. Its name in dispostivos Manager is 'Control method battery Microsoft ACPI-Compatible'. To my surprise, Guess, the laptop did not, I'm still testing, but it doesn't seem that it was driver stack of conflict. The machine did not fall down, but bad disable the driver, it's that we lose track of how much time we have autonomy, but rather sacrifice the autonomy of the video driver (was palliative that he used to be able to work with the battery). Go figure... Wells is now to see if HP will solve this problem of incompatibility, because I found the potential conflict and now awaits the solution. Let's see what will give... all new review here.

Hello
I'm new to the forum. I recently bought an Envy 14 spectrum with an i5 3317u and 4 GB of ram... I have yet to receive it.
I watched some videos on YouTube showing that this laptop has a second msata for an additional ssd slot and a slot ram single at the back of the card mother, accessible only if you disassemble the laptop.
I want to add a second 480 GB ssd and eventually replace the 4gig ram stick with a 8gig one.
Might void my warranty if I make these changes? Or can I freely add the ssd, but does not replace the ram stick?Another question, what are your thoughts on this laptop? I bought mainly for University (computer science), but I also want to edit my newborn son 1080 p videos every now and then... is it be a pain in the thigh or it would feel smooth to work on 1080 p video files (with the exception of export times, which are not a big problem for me).
The Envy 14 spectrum maintenance & Service guide indicates that the SSD is customer accessible.
It also shows there is space fot two SSD drives.
Adding an another SSD will not invalidate your warranty.
However, there is no guarantee that the addition of a 480 GB SSD to the Envy 14 spectrum will work as expected. It cannot be supported for one SSD of this capability in the BIOS.

Spectrum 13-v011dx: bloat ware
13-v011dx spectrum comes with any bloat ware from other companies. And also you can switch the ram.
IM deciding if I want a 13-v011dx spectrum or the new stealth of Razer blade. I will ask the two communities to issues like the battery replaceable and upgradable ram and bloat ware.
If I were to upgrade the farm, should I bring to a store or do it myself? Where to buy this battery in the future?
I a. It is basically a closed unit. This thing is as thin as a few notebook back cardboard. Memory is not expandable, and there is no battery available for this purpose but one HP provides: which is internal. There was no bloatware installed. Very clean. Instant start. Fast as lightning. Beautiful aesthtics. Razer mouse is also a very cool machine. The material is about the same. Neither has significant evolutionary components. I believe that the pci-e card of storage (hard drive) can be removed and updated but nothing else. This is true for both units. If I was 19 years old, I'd get the Razer. The spectrum is a businessman. As the difference between a Mercedes and a Mustang.

High,
I have a recently purchased HP spectrum x 360 C, Intel Core i7-5500U CPU @ 2.40 GHz, 8 GB RAM, Intel(r) HD Graphics 5500, 512 GB SSD (a few weeks ago).
When I rais/open position closed screen sometimes the keyboard could not serve (nothing happens when you press the keys). I then down/close the screen or turn around the screen to almost "shelf position" in order to activate the keyboard.
As noted that this happens only sometimes, once per day, twice a day or copuple of times in a week.
How can I send the computer for hardware repair or or is it a driver/software problem?
Grateful for a response!
Hello and thanks for the display on the HP support forum. From what you explain does not sound like a software problem. You can try to do a full system recovery, return to the original setting of the box to see if the problem is still there to start.
HP computers - performing a recovery of HP (Windows 8) system
Now, if it was a software problem, it would be constant, this looks like a connection which is note makes 100% of the time and would require a repair. If the recovery does not work.

Hi all, I am looking to buy the new XT of spectrum HP 15-4000ea which has a 4 GB of RAM.
For those here who are much more technical, then me, is easily expandable RAM, given the count of the number of available RAM slots, is it x 4 1 GB slot? And this RAM Spec would need in the affirmative: DIMM DDR3 204-pin?
Also, I don't know the specifications if the battery is replaceable as I had a previous HP and the batteries are enough fast?
Receive your answer.
It seems that it is a model of the United Kingdom. I wasn't able to find it on my HP native site.
However, I found the sheet.
http://goo.GL/dj33BThe data sheet, it has 2 memory slots. Going through the order process, it looks like that it comes with 1 module memory 4 GB, or 8 GB 1 bar left a slot open in both cases.
It does not use SODIMM DDR3, but it provides no information much more than that. DDR3 240 is more common, but it may be best to contact the HP store for verification because they will have more access to information I will be outside the United Kingdom.I personally have not seen any HP portable computers that do not have a removable battery, but I note that there is a battery of Li-ion 4 cells for 8 hours of normal use. I'd be surprised if it was a built-in battery.
For the exact type of memory and to confirm that it has a removable battery, I would contact HP before a purchase. Of course, you have a return period if you have bought it and she does not satisfy your needs.
