  Hello

  As a result of an update to windows 10 for the anniversary edition, I had problems with the sound.

  It says the audio device not detected.  I uninstalled the audio drivers and reinstalled them and it will work, but after restarting the computer, it gives the same error.  Sometimes a reboot it will work again, otherwise have to reinstall again.

  I couldn't run constantly, so I restored windows on the previous generation and it works well again.

  Anyone had this problem or could fix?

  I ended up doing something like that.  I uninstalled the program conexant himself and installed an older driver (9.0.57.0), and so far it has worked.  I got the driver from the hp support page.

  The new driver worked until a reboot, then had to be reinstalled again.

  Last Friday, 06/03/15, Microsoft spent 3 hours to solve the problems I've had with updates do not. Yesterday, Monday, I noticed my light button mute does not. I guess it's something they've done.   Line mute functionality is provided by the audio driver software, so try to download and reinstall the Realtek driver package on the following link.

  The only effective solution is to reset the file preferences... it has been damaged by trying to create a catalog with the invalid jpeg.

  The instructions to reset the catalog are here: given to zero (or "Screw up") the preferences of Lightroom - Lightroom Forums file

  When you have done this, place you and double click on the correct catalog and LR should then start OK.

  Given that support HP just told us to download the new BIOS and (of course), it does not work, I think I have to answer my own question.

  HOW TO DISABLE F5 FOR DUMMIES

  After you download and update your BIOS from HP website (I used HP assistand on my PC), turn off your computer. Then start your computer and immediately press and hold the ESC and F10 keys. Here you can DISABLE F5 LIGHT MANUELLEMENT.

  Simply download the new BIOS and restart your PC do NOT work against the advice of the HP people.

• LR and PS 2015 incomplete installation on new, out-of-the-box Windows 10 spectrum 360 HP

  It's terribly frustrating.  I have a new machine and cannot install the software.  I've been playing with this for a few hours: install, uninstall, CS cleaner, install, uninstall, CS cleanser.  The installer said other complete installing optional components but cannot be correctly installed (6).

  Error: DW003: third payload Installer vcredist_x86.exe failed with exit code: 1603

  Error: Cannot install the Package redistributable Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 (x 86) Redestributable.

  Tried on two different networks, but always without success.

  I found this: errors 'Exit Code 6' and ' exit 7 "Code install Adobe Creative Cloud, CS6, CS5.5, Premiere Elements and Photoshop Ele... .

  But what worries.  This is a brand new computer!

  Two companies of big as Adobe and MS fail to create products that work correctly.  This process should be as simple as a click-click-click.  If you set up this kind of barriers your customers will go elsewhere.  As long as I have a new machine, I thought I might as well go with a new product and try ON1.

  HP Support Assistant is a Bluetooth update. Here is an excerpt from a screenshot of this show.

  

  However, the ambiguous nature of the instructions "delete the old package" is not very useful.   Try the following.

  Hold down the Windows key and press R

  In the run box, type regedit and press enter

  In the registry editor, navigate to the following

  HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Synaptics\SynTP\Install

  Inside, look for a key named DeleteUserSettingsOnUpgrade

  If it is present, right click on the key and select Edit

  Set the field data of the value 0 (zero) , and then click Ok.

  Close the registry editor.

  Make the Synaptics setting changes you need in the usual way and save them, and then check if they are now kept after a reboot.

• Spectrum 360: Cable ethernet for spectrum 360 connection?

  Nobody knows what the best approach for wired ethernet is on these laptops?  I did not know that they do not have an ethernet jack, my son is off to College with a spectrum of 360.  Looks like they recommend an adapter, but I don't know if it's via the HDMI or USB? And then, what size is the USB?

  USB 3.0 and USB 2.0 are the same size and are backward compatible.

  USB 3.0 ports are blue or have at least the symbol (super speed)

  13-s121ds convertible Windows hp 360 10 x, I received for Christmas, it was a gift.  I wanted a bigger screen, so I plan to return it to hsn for a larger 17-inch laptop.

  I installed a few items and saved the laptop before I changed my mind.  So I read all the instructions to factory reset this new laptop, but none of this does not work.  The new laptop came on a windows 10 platform, so all the instructions are for windows 8, which looks a bit different.  I have a 500 GB external drive vacuum that this laptop would not recognize in order to create the recovery disk/partition.  the f11 option will not find the partition created by HP, and I am aware that I don't need a windows recovery, but I need a discount for the HP original until I return the new portable software to a larger factory.

  Why can't I find a simple solution?  I have an external storage drive, it wouldn't recognize or use it, I did the F11 option and hoped it would recognise the recovery already partitioned option, nothing wants to work.  Please help, I have until 31/01/16 to return this laptop for the above-mentioned trade.

  Recovery will not use an external hard drive. There's a flash drive. However I would try if possible partition recovery.
