  Welcome to the HP Forums.

  I see you have a problem with the printer displayed in another language.

  On the front screen of the printer, press the top left button ( Home button).  Once on the home screen, press the arrow UP 2 times, this brings you to the preferences Menu, press OK.  Once in the Preferences menu, the first highlighted area is the enacted area please just press OK again.  The first language highlight is English, please press OK and then Yes to make the changes.

  In fact, it is a problem that goes all the way back to Windows 95, but it is still the case in Windows 7.

  I am Canadian and lived in Canada for more than 30 years; I'm still part of the year. So, naturally, I chose English (Canada) as my language when you install a new installation. I also chose the standard American keyboard layout . I pointed out that, because it's going to be important.

  Windows still INSISTS to interpret this as a Canadian French keyboard layout. It would be stupid, even if it was just the default. As I said, I lived in Canada for more than 30 years. During this time, I saw a Canadian-french keyboard. The overwhelming majority of English-speaking Canadians do not use a Canadian-french keyboard, we use a standard American keyboard layout. Windows CE uses however not only as the default value but does not include my explicit entry to do, it's not stupid.

  When I go to my language settings, it says I use a standard American keyboard layout. Yet when I try to type a question mark I E, when I try to do an arobas I get ', and so on. " Notice how the apostrophe in the word "there" seems to be wrong when I type - it's another symptom of the problem. I even removed the French Canadians and the list entirely - multilingual keyboard options it does not always help.

  How can I fix this (it should be a question mark here, but guess what, I can not type a because of your stupid OS!). I mainly write for a living and I need of the ability to type the basic punctuation!

  (I've corrected this before but don't remember how and even if I could there is no guarantee that the same solution would work now, which is a new OS and all.) Moreover, I wouldn't have to, you are the most design software buggy, not me.)

  Keyboard layouts in Windows Vista / Windows 7
  What to watch:
  • When Windows is installed, for some regions, that it puts in place a multiple for one default language keyboard layouts
  • Each open application has its own standard keyboard layout
  • If you have several layouts, set up you can see who did that if you click the icon for the keyboard on the taskbar
  • Pressing CTRL-SHIFT will change between layouts without any visible indication
  • Keyboard layouts are set up in the Control Panel area and language , not the keyboard control panel
  • Deleting a keyboard layout in the Control Panel will not open applications that already have this selected provision affect
  • Remove all keyboards except one in the Control Panel will make it impossible to change keyboard layouts even if some open applications may have other selected layouts
  To go to a single keyboard layout in Windows 7:
  1. Save your work and close all applications, because the traps above make very confusing if you do not immediately restart after changing the settings.
  2. Go to the control panel of language and region (you can easily find it by searching in the box in the start menu)
  3. Click the keyboards and languages tab
  4. Click Change keyboards. This will bring up the "Text Services and input languages" dialog box
  5. Go through each additional provisions you don't want in the box "Installed Services", by selecting them and clicking on the button Delete, until you end up with just the layout you want.
  6. Click OK in the text Services and input languages dialog box
  7. Click OK in the region and language control panel.
  8. If you want to avoid problems with open applications stuck in some other keyboard layout, restart Windows.

  Furthermore, in my experience, when you click on that English (Canada) during a fresh Windows 7 install, it sets up a single language (English) with several keyboard layouts (American English, French of Canada and Canadian multilingual Standard) and sets the default for U.S. English keyboard layout.

  P.S. I'll leave my thoughts on the causes and consequences of this "feature" for another forum.

  the item type of ' date picker (HTML5) "corresponds to the type of input HTML5 = 'date', which requires that the internal format of the value date must always be YYYY-MM-DD, but he returned to the browser to display the date in the format of the local operating system parameter.   Well, here's the scoop:

  To set the default calendar, open the calendar, choose calendar > Preferences, and then click general.

  The calendar where new events are added by default. If you choose "Selected calendar", then the calendar highlight in the calendar list is the default calendar.

  I've just updated to version 35.0 today. Now, every time I restart my browser that asks me to make Firefox the default browser. I've always said yes and check the box to remember. It does not work.   You can check for problems with preferences.

  Delete possible user.js and files numbered prefs-# .js and rename (or delete) the file prefs.js to reset all the prefs by default, including the prefs set via user.js and pref which is no longer supported in the current version of Firefox.
