  The problem I have now is that this disc has become scratched and I look forward to receiving another disc.

  After talking with someone via chat online, I was told that only those who have purchased an online copy may download it. As I bought directly through Adobe by phone, I had no right to an automatically generated download link.

  The upgrade also does not appear in my product pages.

  So, can someone please help to know where I can download a copy of the upgrade, rather than wait for it to pass in the post?

  As long as you have the serial numbers for the upgraded version and the version of basic (CS6 and CS5.5 respectively in your case) programs will install fine. Download the demo version of www.adobe.com/downloads/ and install the software. The installation will ask you perhaps for the CS5.5 serial number (after you have entered your serial number CS6). The installation file or the setup.exe file is the same on drives and on Adobe.com.

  I am in the process of upgrading to a new machine and can not get myCS6 Design and Web Premium suite to install from the DVD-ROM. I've tried three different times, and I get a message at the end, saying that Dreamweaver and Fireworks installed and are available, but some elements of the following could not be installed (InDesign (, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat X, Flash). My computer is Windows 7 64-bit. the software installed and running fine on my old machine from W7 32 bit.

  For some reason I can't open the error report referenced in the message I get. The link does not work. Is there a specific folder where I can find the error report manually? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

  Please uninstall the software from the control panel. Run the Adobe cleanup tool to remove the remains of ruminants: http://www.adobe.com/support/contact/cscleanertool.html .

  Disable antivirus, firewall or security software.

  Hi there I can not download and install CS6, Akami Download Manager does not open in Firefox and Safari, I tried it on PC and Mac. I downloaded the files once without Akami but when I tried to install it there is information I need to re-download the files. Can | Download and install the CS6 to win without Akami? During the download process wass collapsed a few times and that the computer has been out a few times, iy would be a problep for files?

  I am currently running CS3 32-bit on my 64 bit Windows 7 system.  I bought CS6 - should I remove CS3 completely before installing CS6?

  Both versions can coexist. If you do not plan to use the CS3 version, then it may be a good idea to remove the old version and then install the latest version.

  If you uninstall the version CS3 after installing the latest version, when uninstalling it might just ruin the file associations. Other than that, I don't think you will be faced with problems.

  Allright extraction too.

  But when I run the .exe file, it stops and you say maybe I missing a file, reboot, close all applications, etc...

  I did it several times (firewall and Avast closed), always the same answer.

  Where I'm wrong?

• Impossible to re - activate CS6 Web Premium after Acrobat 30 day cancellation

  Hi all, new to the forum and I am really not happy with adobe right now. Any help would be appreciated. I work for a non-profit and we do not use the last and best of the CS line (current only cs6). CS6 is a lot for our needs.

  So I had to to open some pdf documents this morning and when I tried to open the first acrobat x pro open for me, and then shortly after it closes automatically. When I went to re - open, acrobat simply refused to open. I recently migrated my web premium CS6 license to a new PC that has been previously disabled old the old machine and activated on my machine today, new. CS6 installing on my new machine was working fine until today.

  I followed the process on the second and applied the patch. It doesn't seem to help as acrobat always refused to open. So I thought I would try to repair the installation. Once completed, I tried it. He opened, but now it asks for activation. So I try with my existing serial number and nothing. My hunch is that during the repair process he realizes is no longer my current PC has been the active setup for serial number. Now I'm SOL unless I buy a new set, which I did NOT do as this was caused by a buggy application and no fault of mine. Moreover, when I contacted adobe support they say the software is too old and they no longer support it.

  Thank you John for help. I had to contact support chat to get my problem solved. I should also mention, I would have contacted them earlier if I'd known that google chrome does not play well with the chat button to throw the cat. Once I have used IE I was able to enter the chat and ask them to do their thing for me to reactivate the CS6 Web & Design Premium.

  I am freelance pro and educator. I currently have (and installed) a comprehensive package of CS6 Web & Design Premium I will teach After Effects in the fall (which is NOT part of the Web package & Design). I recently bought the CS6 Master Collection version of the educator. I'm not quite sure of how to install the new Master Collection, since this is the limited version of the educator. Should I keep the complete collection of Web & Design using the current license complete and then install After Effects by itself using the license of the educator? Causing conflicts? OR should I uninstall the Web & Design and do a full install of the version of the educator of the CS6 Master Collection?

  You see, the conflict for me is I'm doing professional, paid work, mainly with Illustrator, Photoshop and Indesign.

  You can continue to use your Design and Web premium.

  And for After Effects, you can just install After Effects of the Master Collection.

  When you start the installation, you will get the options to choose what you want to install applications, where you can choose to After Effects and installation to educational assistance of license you have.

  With this, there will be no conflict.

  Download the .7z and the instructions .exe file:

• Try to install the CS6 Web and Design Premium after installing CS6 Design Standard

  We have a user who requested the installation of Photoshop CS6 extended, but she already had the Standard Adobe CS6 installed Design. We went ahead and uninstalled the Standard design version and installed the Web and Design Premium version, but when we were going to run Photoshop it's always the regular version and not a scope.  In addition, we have also downloaded the cleanup tool Adobe to remove completely all creative Cloud/CS6 version/Adobe ID credentials to try and make a facility 'clean' the Web and Design Premium, but even after this, Photoshop starts again as the regular version despite the installation of the Web and Design Premium package.

  The computer is a Mac Pro and 10.7.5 (Lion).  Is there something we're missing?  Help or clarification on this would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!

  • Launch Photoshop
  • Go to help > deactivate
  • Choose the option remove permanently
  • Restart Photoshop and enter the serial number of the Design and Web Premium CS6
