X930D Major problem with HDR content
Hello
I'm having a major problem with my new X930D and frankly, that's a deal breaker for me. When you play any HDR content on Amazon or Netflix TV goes to the HDR mode automatically and there is no way to return home (my favorite display mode). Picture mode is simply disabled. The HDR mode is actually very well, BUT local dimming is grayed out in HDR mode and I want to have to DISABLE COMPLETELY. That is my ultimate goal: getting OFF local dimming while playing the HDR content. So is there a way to:
(1) force the photo for anything other than HDR mode mode so that the local dimming can be disabled
OR
(2) the strength of Local Dimming OFF (perhaps via the service menu)?
OR
(3) affect Amazon/Netflix steady stream in mode 4 k instead of HDR mode
If it is not all viable options for me that I will need to return this ASAP. Thank you in advance for your help!
No, at least for now it's impossible.
Maybe the update of Marshmallow will change.
Otherwise, you can buy box HD fury to remove metadata of HDR and keep only the wide range of colors and 10-bit video... However, you will lose the increased contrast

I can't open a file HDR 32-bit with HDR in Photoshop in Lightroom.
I can't open a file HDR 32-bit with Photoshop HDR. I saved the file in Photoshop with the maximum compatibility option. In Lightroom, the file doesn't show a preview and an exclamation point in the upper right. Anyone an idea why and how to solve this problem?
The 32-bit file must be saved in TIFF format.

Hi, I have a Canon 70 d. There are HDR and I guess only he photos in the camera to produce a single image for the development of Lightroom 5 of the layers. My problem is that I can't tell which ones are HDR in the library. They are all named in jpeg format. Is there a way to tell them apart? It also appears that are 3 identical pictures in the library, these would be the ones who should be superimposed once again, I was under the impression that it does automatically in camera. Could someone help me please. Thank you.

Thanks for the replies, but I'm still confused to find out if there is a way to tell which are HDR in the library... also, I should disable HDR to take with the AEB for manual lamination?
Hello
As the 70 d saves only the HDR output so that particular image is the HDR image, but she is not named differently to the other images taken by the camera. You may notice a difference with the detail of the image but no difference in the tone mapping etc if the 'Natural' blending mode is used... other modes give more garish results.
For manual or treatment of the device, you must use AEB to produce images to mix. Note that DPP 3.15 (software that came with your camera) has an HDR tool that emulate the process of the camera but allow you to adjust more brightness, contrast, Saturation in detail, and finesse. Then you could save as a 16 bit TIF and import the output in Lightroom for further processing.
As you use Lightroom there are many commercial products, outside of Photoshop, available: NIK HDR Efex Pro, etc. Photomatrix. One of the products that give the more pleasant effect (my opinion), it's LR/Enfuse in range of photographers (LR/Enfuse - multiple exposures mix together in Adobe Lightroom) is a product of don, but since I'm not a real fan of HDR you need look around the internet to see what is most appropriate for you.
As for PS Elements is probably not the best to create HDR type images that it's a completely manual process... There are a few tutorials on the internet about the use of PES to produce HDR images.

Can I use a battery NP-FH100 with HDR-CX760E?
Can I use the old battery NP-FH100 with Sony HDR-CX760E?
Thank you
Hi Amran,
Welcome to the community of Sony!
NP-FH100 battery is not compatible with this camcorder. If you want to buy an extra battery for longer continuous recording, you can buy NP-FV70 or NP-FV100-battery.
Please indicate the only accepted such solution if you find the information useful.

Wireless Internet for PC with HDR-AS15
Hello
Just unpacked my new Action Cam. I can connect using my wireless PC card, but I don't seem to be able to access the memory card. Is there some guidance on how to do it.
Are there plans to develop software for PC with the same feature Wifi like a smartphone? REC remote, streaming, etc...
Concerning
Arne
If you want to view the files in your memory card, you must use the USB cable supplied in the connection of the cam of action directly on your computer. We cannot view the contents of the memory card on your computer via Wi-Fi.
You can use the features WiFi cam action to transfer images on your smartphone and to control the cam of action via your smartphone. At the time of writing, there is no software available but that will allow us to perform similar functionality on a computer. We do not have information on whether there will be a software that is developed for this purpose.

Image automatically changing the resolution with HDR and Photomerge in CS4
I am trying to create HDR images and Hi Res Panoramas using Photoshop CS4. It seems that the resulting image is a much weaker than expected resolution (that is, the image has been reduced by 50% and changed at 240 dpi). I can do the thing smame on my laptop without problem, but may not know why it does not work on my desktop.
Is there a preference that I missed?
I use DNG images processed in lightroom.
Create the Photomerge / HDR in Photoshop by using the option to automate.
Thank you
You define ACR for image - change your settings in ACR.

Sony A3000 self-timer with HDR
Is it possible to avoid pressing the trigger manually for the HDR feature?
Same question for the AEB function, just doesn't seem to work or is at - it something for her?
Hi Vlad-8! The camera cannot be set on the self-timer mode and is set on the one shot when Auto HDR is turned on. You can choose either [self-timer] or [support: suite] since they are both in Drive Mode.

Different behaviors of HDR with different images
Hi all;
I have two sets of three images, each series 1 a shadowish, highlighted, a normal.
All JPG, all 8 bits.
Works with 15 CC.
First put about 150 KB each, second value approximately 8 MB each. I did the first set myself (work on an original photo, PS), the second set is of Adobe PS Classroom in a Book, especially for experimenting with HDR.
When I'm working on the second set to make a HDR, everything is OK. I get the Panel great (translated from Dutch) called dialogue "to join HDR Pro'.
When I do the same thing with the first series, I have a group of little dialogue called "adjust the exposure manually" instead of the normal big dialog Panel. Also in this small panel I can not click OK, this being grey (adjust everything I have).
Thanks for help.
Maarten
y at - it information on exposure for the first game, and they are not only jpg images? HDR in PS is based on the metadata of the exhibition in images. If this isn't there, you will get this box, or if the exposure data are too close together or the same exposure, you will get this behavior.

What is the difference between Action Cam model HDR-AS10A and HDR-AS10B
What is the difference between Action Cam model HDR-AS10A andB of the HDR-AS10
Hello
Welcome to the community of Sony. There is no Action Cam with HDR-AS10A model number available in the United States. Only the AS10-HDR and HDR-AS10/B are available. The only difference between the two is that the 'B' in the HDR-AS10/B model number matches the color of the camcorder, which is black.

RX 100 II HDR in EXIF information?
I have had this unit for a few months and experimenting with HDR and DRO modes, as well as Superior Auto and Auto Intelligent mode. Is it possible for me to see how I used during the filming. I see nothing in the EXIF data.
Thank you.
You can try to install PlayMemories House or Image Data Converter and use this software under display the EXIF of your images. This must contain the shoot mode used and the DRO / HDR parameters used.
In addition, you can use the icons on the screen of the device as an indicator of the parameters used in your images. Please see the for the Cybershot DSC-RX100M2 User Guide for more information.

HDR Lightroom "will not support the bit depth.
I tried to merge the 3 files with HDR in Lightroom raw, Photoshop with 32 bit is set and then back to Lightroom.
Once I saved the file in photoshop, it automatically loaded into LR, but said he could not handle the bit depth, when I tried to make adjustments.
Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.
Make sure that you save the file in mode HDR 32-bit TIFF and PSD not.

With the help of smart filter in ACR on 32-bit images
After combining the 3 images in HDR pro then opening in Photoshop using the dynamic filter of the CPR ACR, how can I keep the changes I made when I then flatten the image and convert to 16 bit?
I seem to loose all the changes I made and he brings just the HDR Pro options.
What is the point of being able to use the dynamic of ACR filter, if you then have to start again on a 16-bit version?
I usually save the 32-bit version before you flatten and convert to 16-bit. You can always revert to the original edits by opening the 32-bit file. But yes, of course, it is a two-step process.
When you're confronted with HDR dialog, once again, under the 'method', simply choose the exposure and Gamma. Then, you won't lose all your work on HDR on front.

I use a Panasonic LX7 with HDR camera. When I import RAW files in Lightroom 4.3 the HDR effect is removed in the process. Is there a way to avoid this? Thanks for any help you can give!
Is it not true that the LX7 can work the wonder HDR only in jpg? I thought that I would still have to find a camera that produces their panos in camera RAWs or HDR.
