SPM30: different resolutions on my screen

On my satellite pro M30 there are only 3 available resolutions for the card nvidia geforce fx Go5200 driver - 800 x 600, 1024 x 768, 1280 x 800. Only the 1280 x 800 views without distortion on the LCD 15.4 inch built in wide screen. Other resolutions just show things that the width is stretched on the side. 1280 x 800 is too small for me to see. Shouldn't there be a driver who gives good screen at lower resolution for example something like 850 x 600.
I have install the driver is 4.5.6.2 dated dated 24/09/2003, and I can't find anything more recent on the download site.
Any help is welcome, thanks, Chris

Hello Chris,

I don't think that it is possible to get resolutions more because your TFT Panel only supports these three modes!
You will need to differ between the TFTs and CRT monitors. They have characteristics and different technologies.

Sorry! But you can use an old CRT to your desktop and choose such a small resolution! ;-)

  • layout with different resolutions

    Hello and Hello!

Once more I need some advice:

I have a program that is running on different machines with different resolutions.

Is it possible to avoid, that the provision is paning all around?

    Best regards

    Hilby

    Hi Hilby,

No.... This is currently a limitation of the layout, where we try to adapt to each screen, but objects and the page layout is not appropriate in different proportions with a different number of pixels.

The aspect ratio is the most important, followed by the total of the resolution of the screen.

Additional information about elongation are below.

In summary, DASYLab is unable to completely adapt the layout "Screen" for the size of each screen and resolution. If you want to have a fixed provision which is not completely in some monitors, then consider using a size fixed, such as A4 or A3.

If you do something on a large monitor, 1600 x 1200, for example, and move it to a screen wide monitor, 1600 x 900.

    Of my friends on Wikipedia

With computer screens, wider than 4:3 aspect ratios are also known as widescreen. Computer monitors widescreen previously generally 16:10 aspect ratio, now they are moving in 16:9.

Until the about 2003, most computer monitors had a 4:3 aspect ratio and some had 5:4. Between 2003 and 2006, monitors with 16:9 and especially 16:10 aspect ratios (8:5) became commonly available

No, the resolution of the screen is your 1680 x 1050, that should certainly be excellent and high enough for Skype. Make sure that you have the latest Skype installed and if that doesn't help, here is a link to the support of Skype (it looks like there is not nothing wrong with your computer):

  • How to remove a display duplicate in the resolution of the screen?

I had a Windows 7 laptop to an external display connected to it.  My laptop has a resolution of 1920 x 1080, while my external monitor has a resolution of 1920 x 1200.  Initially, I had my external monitor hooked through my docking station, but I've since decided to plug in my external monitor to the HDMI port on my laptop.  When I did this, in the screen resolution Control Panel, I now have 3 screens!  The 3rd posting is currently DISABLED.  But when I decide to have two active screens, I can't do this each with their native resolution with 3rd current display - even if this were not true, I still want to have this '3rd view' deleted.

    Therefore, I have 2 questions:

    1. how 'remove' the 3rd display twice the screen resolution?  I tried to remove the double 'generic PNP' driver from the Device Manager Control Panel.  It did not work.  I then tried to turn it off - it does not work either.

2 is it possible that when I unplug the HDMI cable from my laptop (like when I want to take my laptop somewhere) that the native computer screen is automatically enabled?  I'd rather NOT have my laptop screen to be active at all when I use my monitor (because they are of different resolutions), but that it has become active when I disconnect the HDMI cable, so if I forgot to transfer the laptop of my external monitor display when I take the laptop with me, I don't have a very expensive brick with an idle screen.

Right-click for a resolution on the first page, select the monitor you want to remove, place "multiple" click on disable display-> press apply-> select "Multiple display" drop down again and now you will be presented with "delete this view"-> apply.

  • Windows 7 changes the resolution of the screen at the start of what I had saved

I recently bought a new monitor, which is a 22 AOC. I installed the drivers so that the computer detects hardware. Then I go to the screen resolution set at 1920 x 1080, that says that Windows is recommended. I then choose to preserve settings, then press OK.

When I then restart the computer, the resolution changes right after the login screen to the old 1 of 1440 x 900 (which is the resolution of the screen of the old monitor).

I tried researching this problem, but nobody seems to have exactly the same problem as me. Help! :)

This problem also occurs when the monitor is turned off and turned back on again (I have my pc set to automatically turn off the monitor after 20 minutes).

I had this problem since upgrading to windows 7 and it is very frustrating when you have to re - align icons and others whenever you turn on the monitor / PC back on.
Fortunately, I found the solution after a few dedicated google searches, but this method requires you to modify your registry so please be very careful.
    Step #1:
Open your Start menu and in the search bar type in regedit and press to enter. UAC will pop up asking if you want to allow this program to make changes to the computer, simply press Yes.
    Step #2:
    In the left pane of regedit , you will see a list of registry keys;
-Click on the small white arrow next to expand this key HKEY_CURRENT_CONFIG .
-Develop System > CurrentControlSet > control > VIDEO

    Step #3:
Now you should see one or more keys with random numbers and letters, for example my video key is {F92BFB9B-59E9-4B65-8AA3-D004C26BA193}.
If you develop these keys, you will see another key in each of these named 0000

Just click on these keys to 0000 to see their values, you are looking for one that has multiple values, for example Attach.RelativeX, Attach.RelativeY, etc.
The appropriate key 0000 should also have a child key (which is the registry of your monitor settings, yay!) and mine is named Mon12345678 but yours may be different.

    Step #4:
Now for the changes of the registry, 0000 and the keys Mon12345678 with the same parameters and values, I changed the two of them are identical. I'm not entirely sure of what a windows 7 uses, but it does not hurt to change both just to be sure.
    In order to change a registry key values;
-Right click on the value name and select Edit...
    - where it says Base of select the decimal option
-Enter the new numeric value, you want to enter in the data value: text field
    The parameters to change are;
    Attach.RelativeX - it's your screen X resolution, mine is set to 1360
Attach.RelativeY - it's your screen resolution is, mine is set to 768
DefaultSettings.XResolution -it's your screen resolution by default of X, mine is set to 1360
DefaultSettings.YResolution -it's your default screen resolution, mine is set to 768
    Step #5:
You're done! Click on file > output and your registry settings will be saved automatically.
    * Restart the system notes * A may be required before these settings take effect.

Hope this helps everyone who has faced this problem!

  • Mirror / duplicate monitor in different Resoluations

    Hello

Is it possible to implement a configuration of monitor in mirror with monitors of different resolutions on the Windows 7 operating system, but at the same time to maintain the native resolution on both screens?, at the same time maintain the native resolution on both screens?

For example, I have 1(1920*1080) and 2(1280*1024) monitors. When "Several screens" setting in the resolution of the screen is "duplicate desktop 1 and 2", I want to get everyone to have different resolutions.

I know that I could 'extend' instead of 'mirror' and thus to solve the problem, but there is no mirror.

Is there a solution in Windows?

    Thank you.

    Hello Dong,

Thanks for posting your query in Microsoft Community.

I appreciate the information provided by you. I want to update you can set permanently resolution for each monitor, but unfortunately the parameters you want may not work if you want 1st screen on 2nd monitor resolution will get the change. It also depend on the size of each monitor you use.

For more information on the use of multiple monitors, see the following article:

  • Some ALT keyboard shortcuts do not work in the resolution of the screen Panel

    PROBLEM:

It seems that the resolution of the screen control panel dialog box some accessed via the ALT keyboard shortcuts do not seem to.

The Alt-combinations that do not seem to work are listed:

    Alt + s   (' Display: "menu drop-down)

    Alt + O   ("' Orientation:" menu drop-down ")

    ALT + M   ("" Several screens: "menu drop-down")

Is it possible to access them using some/different specified keyboard shortcuts or is it a case that they have not been implemented?

The following Reproduction method was tested using two and three monitors attached with a multi-display compatible video card (see further below for a test instance), although the problem can still occur with a single, or more than three monitors.

    MODE OF REPRODUCTION:

    (1) open the control panel.

    (2) select 'View' then 'Adjust the resolution' (or simply select "Adjust screen resolution" If a category view).

    (3) once the screen resolution dialog, hold down the ALT (left) (notice the different points on the page which reveal a letter underlined in their chain to suggest this is accessible by pressing the corresponding key on the keyboard).

"(4) with [ALT] key again press the [R] key on the keyboard and notice how this will display the corresponding resolution:" drop-down list (it's very well and as expected).

    (5) now release both keys and press the [ESC] key to clear the menu drop down.

    (6) and repeat steps 3-4 but this time using the key [O] instead of [R] (in theory, this should appear the "Orientation:" menu drop-down).

    (7) notice how nothing is happening, i.e. the "Orientation:" drop-down menu does not open upward.

    (8) repeat step 5.

    (9) now to repeat the following steps 6 through 8 for each of the keys: [D] ("' Display:" "), [M] (" "several screens:" ").

    (10) even after noticing how these keyboard shortcuts do not seem to work as suggested points out when you press [ALT].

  • Resolution of erroneous screen and Unchangable

I'm a new Phoenix HP running Windows 8. I hung it on a big screen via an HDMI cable. The resolution passes automatically in 1920 X 1080, but this is not correct: I do not see a wide band around the outside of the screen, about as wide as the taskbar. When I go into the control panel to change the resolution (I know this screen supports, as I put it at different resolutions, when I got Windows 7), I can not change the resolution. the option is grayed out completely and I can't click on it at all. How can I change so that I can actually see the entire screen?

Thank you! I was able to find an option in the nVidia control panel to resize my screen, and now it works fine!

  • Resolution of the screen on the Treo 700 p and 700wx

Can someone confirm the resolution of the screen on the Treo 700wx? I know that the resolution on the 700 p is 320 x 320. I want to the700wx so that I can sync via USB cable with my laptop 64 bit Vista operating system, but I've heard say that the 700wx resolution only 240 x 240. I don't know that I want to give up that much resolution. Some vendors who sell these phones used or reconditioned also show the resolution for the 700wx 320 x 320. Any comments?

    Hello.

    The 700 p screen resolution is 320 x 320
    and the 700w/wx is 240 x 240.
If the seller says 320 x 320 on the 700wx I would double check that and make sure that your not getting something different.

  • Import Clips of different resolutions

Hi first Forum, o hoping to get help here. I was change my first Pro CC project and decided to import a screenshot I made in another program. The program is called screenshot Movavi. I saved off as a screenshot file. MOV file. My creation project is set to a resolution of 1080 p, but my screenshot has been just under one (smaller).

I noticed after I added my screenshot of my project, it never looked like the other items in the project Panel. It was green and didn't show a clip of the video as did the other clips.

I wanted to create an effect where I'll have one of my project clips play-by-side with my music video screenshot. No problem - just used the movement under the effect to adjust the scale and position as required. I had to reframe my screenshot a little so he can adapt, but it worked for a few minutes.

All of a sudden, while rubbing through my project, locked up my system. I rebooted and had major problems and had complete restore of the system (BONES and all). I don't have any problems until then. When I returned to my project, it shows an error like "default minor exception ' and the screenshot has been pinked. Then, I deleted this clip of my project and resaved.

Can someone tell me what I could have done to cause such a major mistake? If this isn't the case, maybe someone can stand me the rules to import these clips which can be of a different resolution than what I use in the project. If this is allowed?

    Help/suggestions appreciated.

    Frank

The probable resolution has no bearing here, the codec is the most likely candidate for questions.

Not all codecs can be used in PP, and screenshot programs use codecs especially which do not like PP.  Maybe try this one instead.

  • Want the content to remain at the bottom of the screen, regardless of the resolution of the screen

On my site, I have my contact information in a bar, and I want the contact bar must remain fixed at the bottom of the screen. When I test the site at different screen resolutions, sometimes the contact bar is no longer there. How can I make sure that the contact bar stays relatively where I want it, regardless of the screen resolution?

What you are trying to achieve will not work within the Muse, changing the display screen resolutions will not affect the browser window size and position, how to make sensitive sites.

Don't forget about the screen resolution is your file size upwards or downwards (zoom upwards or downwards) based on the settings of your start page. So if find you something to 1000 pixels high, that's where it will always be regardless of the resolution of your screen, Muse has no way of calculating where to place an image if you change the resolution, it's zoom the screen upward or downwards and not the data.

  • Copy slides from one project to another (2 different resolutions)

    Hello

I have 2 projects of different resolutions (long story) and I want to copy the slides in the smaller project in the cotyledon. But keep the same resolution. (I want to create the Visual of a computer monitor showing the demonstration, as that is the lower resolution to I can have PC monitor as a backdrop)

When I copy the slides, they are by default resize themselves for the biggest project and I can't change them.

    is there advice?

is there a 'special' block when it comes to slides?

Small projects are demonstrations having someone else did for me (so I can't really re - record)

I want to just try to make them look a little more visually pleasing

Thank you kindly for your time

    The solution is to:

    • Take a copy of your smaller project and work on that, not the original (in case of screwups).
    • Resize the smallest project using modify > resize the project options.
    • Be sure to work carefully how to increase the size of the stage WITHOUT changing the size of the existing content.  Basically, you want to add an extra space around your current content so that it is now sitting in the middle of the scene.
    • Once you have managed to get your content to the same size as the largest project, copy and paste slides on.
    • You may be able to develop a nice graph of a monitor with a hole in it.  Place it on the slide (or slides model) so that it lies on top of your smaller other screenshots to give effect to look at the screen.

  • How to change the resolution of the screen in Firefox for Android?

    Hello
    I have a Galaxy Note 3, which is display resolution is 1920 x 1080.
If I go to http://www.whatismyscreenresolution.com with Firefox, I see that it shows my screen resolution 640 x 360 (even with the "ask Site Desktop" checked and tiny text size ' ").
I tried with other browsers, and some of them were able to display 1920 x 1080.

    The question is:
How can I use Firefox for Android in screen resolution of my screen (which is 1920 x 1080) MAXIMUM?

Could you try to open this page: http://dev.jeffersonscher.com/resolution.html

The script should show the screen resolution 'effective' as well as the device pixels, which gives the real screen resolution. (The page is not recalculate when you rotate between portrait and model guidelines, so you'll need to manually reload after having done this.)

Note: There may be rounding errors for more extreme values.

Assuming that the device pixels is closer to 3 to 1, you can try to change a hidden parameter to see if it improves things.

Open a new tab and type or paste Subject: config in the address bar and press the Enter key on the keyboard. You can bookmark this page for future alterations.

In the search box, type css, and then press the keyboard entry.

When you find layout.css.devPixelsPerPx press the button Edit and change the value 1.0 (in general, you simply remove the sign-). Press the OK button.

Return to the first tab and reload.

Did that change how make real sites do you use?
