• Error 1923. The VMware Agent service service could not be installed.

  I use Workstation 6.5.4 and I'm trying to upgrade to Workstation 6.5.5, however as part of the upgrade Workstation 6.5.4 is removed before 6.5.5 can be installed.

  As Workstation 6.5.4 is removed, I get the following error message:

  Had the same problem.  Error 1922.

  In my case, McAfee Host Intrusion Prevention was causing this issue.  Disabled and was able to uninstall VM Ware.

  Hi, my SQL Server 2014 works very well in my server with WIndows 2012 until I installed the new day & service pack that was required for server hardening.

  I successfully installed SP1 KB 3058865 first, then discovered that the services do not start. After so much research to fix, I came with the 2 cu updates KB3075950, KB3094221 in knowing that it could solve my problem but unfortunately is not.

  I also tried to change the service account that many suggest, but his does not work.

  I tried to replace the master file & maslog but also failed.

  I tried to run etc and unique usermode and restore master db... also failed.

  have windows Xp Sp 3 and when I want to uninstall or install a program error message appears saying that "the Windows Installer Service could not be accessed.   I have a new Dell under Windows 7 Home Premium.  I'm unable to download Itunes.  I am trying to download the version for Windows 7 64-bit systems, but when I click to run the software I get the following error message:
