sr5605f restoration

I have a client computer that has a windows 7 upgrade on him and it is not authentic. She said somene installed. The system does not really hurt. I did as far as I know. He's not leaving factory. Can I get a restore? DOE Compaq/HP pay for it?

Other options?

Compaq sr5605f

If it still has the partition recovery on it, it worked for many >

1.right - click on the "Computer" icon and select manage.
2. This will launch the Microsoft Management Console.
3. on the left side of the MMC console, click "Disk management" and it will show you all the partitions.
4. right - click on the "Recovery" partition and select "Mark as Partition Active."
5. when the warning message appears, select 'Yes' – Reboot and it will automatically start in the Recovery Manager to reinstall to factory.

If this fails, you can order a recovery disc from HP for autour of $20.Have you asked the customer if she maybe burned all, that she would have been triggered on when you first install the machine?

    Hi guys,.

Unfortunately, I deleted one of my albums shared in the foto flow. No chance to recover (not photos - they are there, only the album with all the comments, etc..)!

If you are the "owner" of the shared album, then it is most likely that he is gone for good (the other is too peripheral).  You could try restoring a backup, even if a shared an element iCloud album then it may not be part of a backup.  May be worth it if you have a recent backup, which dates back to before remove you this album.

But if you have joined another album and then ask them to re - share with you who should get it back.

  • iPhone restore backup encryption bug in iTunes

First the details of my system:

    El Capitan 10.11.6

    iPhone iOS 6 10.0.2

    iTunes 12.5.1.21

    Steps to reproduce:

1 backup the by using the encrypted password (current running iOS 10) iPhone

    2. once the backup is complete change password encrypted from A to B

    3. restore the iPhone using the backup.

The backup cannot be restored with A password or password B.

I think that most people would say I forgot the password B. You would be a mistake. Password B was stored in my keychain and it wouldn't work. To check that I had the correct password, I downloaded a password free utility cracking. For some reason, these utilities are available for Windows only. I used the utility of tenorshare. Since I was sure I knew the password, I used boxes of prefix and suffix of the utility to verify that the password is correct. The utility shows you only the first 2 characters of your password once he finds her. Since I am sure that I knew the password, I put the first 7 characters of the password in the prefix box password and he assumes that the last of them (which I knew that). Then I put the first 6 characters of the password in the prefix area of password and the last character in the zone suffix and guess the second to the last character (which I knew that too). In both cases, he finds the password, which confirmed that all my characters were correct, but iTunes would not accept. At this point, I was convinced this is an Apple bug, so I googled some more and found this blog https://deciphertools.com/blog/ios-10-backup-password-incorrect/ which confirms:

"If you recently changed your password backup in iTunes, and iTunes is now reports that 'the password was incorrect' when you try to restore this backup, then we may be able to help."

There is a small problem affecting backups iOS 10 - sometimes changing password causes backup the password being rejected (both new and old passwords) when you try to use the backup that you did. »

I was able to solve my problem of password associated with the procedure.

My backup was too important to wait for a solution possible iTunes. Apple should recognize this problem and have a fix as soon as POSSIBLE.

  • stuck on restoring to iTunes

Just got a new iPhone, went on iTunes & restored - worked very well, just copied all the apps to new phone

But iTunes keeps going back to the screen "Welcome to your new iPhone - would you set up this iPhone as a new iPhone or restore all your information from a previous backup?"

Yet, he has restored from a backup.

I have tried to restart the phone, restart the PC, even remove and reinstall iTunes.

Not a major problem at the moment that everything works, but I would now like to make a backup of my new phone.

Anyone have a suggestion how to fix it please?

    Hello old_chap,
Thank you for using communities of Apple Support.

If I understand your message after restoring your iPhone and connect it to iTunes, you will see a screen that says 'Welcome to your new iPhone.... ' ». I understand your concerns after you restore your iPhone from a backup and then given options to set up as new or restore again. iTunes on the technical plan is to see your iPhone for the first time, so even if you restored a backup file that you want to select Configuration as a new iPhone. This will not remove any content from your iPhone. Then it will take you to the contents page of the iPhone where you can select backup now to create a new backup file.

    Best regards.

  • A few quirks after a 6 s iCloud restore iphone

Yesterday, I went to the Genius Bar for my iphone battery testing 6.  They have made a reset on my phone and restore from iCloud (fully and recently supported).  Once done with the basic restore process (about an hour), I left it home, plugged in, connected to my wifi, and restoration took over.  Sort of.

After a little while, my pictures were there, but my app icons where mostly shaded and restoration seemed "stuck." I searched and found many others had this problem and went through a few solutions. I had to reset the network settings for restart.  But then I had to individually press each icon grayed out to restore.  Who SLOWLY worked most of the time, for some, I went on the App Store for my apps also purchased and clicked on the little icon of cloud with an arrow pointing down to restore a part of there (I have not seen all my pressing gray icons worked).

When I went to bed last night that it seemed my icons grayed not done, long after hours and hours of clicking on icons.  But in the settings, he always said that the restoration was underway, that gives me the choice to cancel the restoration.  I do not cancel.

When I woke up this morning, the restoration was done. Phew.

So, I carefully checked my important apps and they are there and work.  What is important, all of my Camera Roll photos seemed to be there.  But there seems to be some quirks:

    • I have a third-party application that stores photos outside the film, and these photos were not there (not a big deal for me).
    • Some applications of photo as photo Hipstamatic app, had the photos I took with it in their own folder.
    • I had to grant permissions for applications whenever I'm loaded up (such as for access to the camera).
    • I had to re-login to any site that requires a password.

What do you think of this?

    • Is it normal to have to re - grant permissions for each application who needs who?
    • Is it normal to have to re-login to websites? (Guess what?)

But here's a question that has concerned me somewhat: If an icon is grayed out when restoring has remained fairly well, and instead tap the icon to try to restore, I went purchased apps from the App Store and downloaded from there instead (by clicking on the small icon of cloud), it restores the application AND local data that I might have associated with it?) or it only downloads the app and I'm screwed on all local data?

I'm not sure and unfortunately do not know what is the official answer, but I'll tell you from my personal experience, I went through the same.

I saw where I saved on iCloud, restored from the same backup and had problems with my apps, for example, having to connect in them, losing scores high in game applications, etc.

I know that when I backup on iTunes and encrypt the backup, I was able to recover all applications and their data comfortably.

  • Time Machine restore problems

Me again... still to try to recover my drive hard because I tried to make the Boot Camp.

In preparation for boot from the external drive, I had a cool time machine backup of the system. The system was Captain El.

When I started pressing cmd + R to choose the way to go, I entered the utilities disk and tried to format/erase the existing partitions so that one new partition could be created, and then I use boot camp to install windows again.

Somehow after I did that and came back to restore options the system reported it no were not available to boot from the boot floppies and asked me to tie a boot disk. Having no other than the old drive boot disk that I had replaced out of the computer when he was a Maverick, I used as a startup disk and go to revive the position and where I chose what to do.

When I choose now to restore from the external drive that has my time backup machine El captain on this program trying to install for a bit, and then he told me that ' year error occurred during the addition of a system of recovery on the destination disk. It then asks me to restart to get rid of the problem, and of course the problem won't go away.

If I choose to reset the computer he'll want to maverick. I agree with going back that far and punting again and I'll probably have to do this because it appears that I have no other choice. I hope that I can install Maverick and then restore my El Captain off the external drive.

    Hello Farzad_K,

Thanks for asking for help with Time Machine here in Apple Support communities. I am pleased to offer you things to check this.

Since your Mac is fairly new, I recommend first start in recovery of the Internet. Here is the article on this subject: on Mac OS recovery. I know it says it's the Sierra, but the steps are the same for El Capitan. Use the second set of instructions for the recovery of the Internet with the keys: command ⌘ ⌥ (alt) Option and the letter R.

For this with the drive installed that you want to install OS X El Capitan to. If you have changed to the older readers with the Mavericks, switch back, and then run the recovery of the Internet. This will fix your hard drive and then allows you to install the operating system from Apple servers. Then you can restore the backup, or try to run a Migration Wizard using this help article: move your content to a new Mac.

Thanks again and relax your day wonderful.

  • photo restoration

Hello. I lost my iPad, bought a new one and all restored very easily except my pictures. Last time I bought a new iPad everything including the restored pictures.

    Advice anyone? Thanks, Frances

No advice, but a possibility. If you have settings > iCloud > Photos > iCloud library enabled in the old phone then photos are not included in backups and therefore put in place the new phone by restoring a backup would not restore the photos.

If you use a computer and connect to https://www.icloud.com/ , you should see your photos in the Photos app here. If they are there, you can activate the settings > iCloud > Photos > iCloud photo library on the new phone and photos must synchronize to the new phone (can take some time depending on the amount).

Time Machine backup to a sparsebundle.

The sparsebundle will use the share name of computer. So, it should be obvious who is your Macbook and that is your Macpro.

Open the sparsebundle in Finder and keep open the subfolders until you get to the backup of each separate hard drive...

You has of course set the exclusion in Time Machine?

By default, Time Machine will exclude your second drive unless you have included it. Did you?

Once you get to this level during the backup, you can do a full restore manually whenever you want.

  • Restore Playlists

Once I had my iPhone 7 operational, I thought I'd take advantage of iCloud music library, but there has been destroying my playlists on my computer and my iPhone. Does anyone know how to restore playlists?

    Thank you!

    Scott *.

< personal information under the direction of the host >

Disable the library music iCloud. Restore a copy of the last database before you activated. See the empty/corrupted after upgrade/crash iTunes library. If you want to discover music of Apple or iTunes game iCloud music library functionality, it might be better to do it in a separate library.

Also best not putting too much personal information online.
