SSD install on macbook pro w / el capitan

Please tell me if I am on the right track.  I bought an ssd 2.5 inch bx200 crucial.  I formatted it and then with Time Machine, I backed up my existing on the SSD hard drive.  Is it safe to say, all I have to do now is to turn off the computer, remove the existing hard drive, install SSD, go back and turn on computer?  I feel as if I could be missing something.  Thank you

This is probably the correct process. What MacBook Pro you have? It seems that an adapter of 9.5 mm (supplied) is necessary to install this drive at least some of the MacBook Pro.
