  We have a SSL Module installed in our Catalyst 6509. The problem is what SMLS can only support SSH version 1, I could not find how to activate SSH version 2. Is it possible to use SSh version 2 for this device, only that I have to update the IOS?

  I loaded the last PDM bin 4.1 (1) for PIX os ver 6.3 (4) but I get an error message when I try to access the new PDM:

  "Cisco PDM 4.0 for FWSM does not work on PIX. Please install Cisco PDM 3.0 on your PIX"

  Yes, this message is absolutely right, version 4.x PDM is just for the firewall Switch Module and is not supported by the device of PIX. FWSM supports Transparent firewall features that the PIX does not now support.

  Yes, unfortunately GFWL's an imperfect system. Steam has similar problems. I find the best way to avoid
  problems is to play all the games that are related to a system off line.
  I have absolutely no interest in what GFWL can offer online, in any case.

  I have 2 basic switches, which are using ssh v1.5 and the need for change to V2 for a monitoring tool can connect, if I change the version during office hours, will it regenerate keys RSA etc? or this will be done on the fly?

  No new keys or restart required. Just enter "ip ssh version 2" on the configuration mode and save.

  All new connections will be V2 (assuming that the customer who connects is capable - otherwise their connections will be refused).

  I put on my deployments and have yet to see a problem with it.

  The next version will be version 7.0, but we do not have a firm date committed at that time for the release date. It takes some time in 2004, but certainly not in the January/February period. I don't think regarding the features in this release, we have released this information publicly at this point. I would contact the local Cisco account team and see if they can share that info with you after you have signed a Non Disclosure Agreement form. Sorry for the lack of definitive information, but I hope you understand the reasoning for this.

  For PIX OS 6.3.5 (pix635.bin), you will need the PDM (pdm - 304.bin).

  Whan you download the FTP image on your PC do not forget that you are in binary mode, if you are in ASCII mode, the image will be corrupted (incorrect checksum).

I want to open a pdf file in adobe when I click on the link. currently the file gets saved and I can't change it. I have read through the suggestions and go in tools > options > applications and reassigned the pdf options asking first and firefox always download just the files somewhere. I don't want this option and I need to uncheck the automatic box.

  As a user of long date of Firefox (and Netscape), I tend to agree with you that some type of compatibility check must be done before the real Firefox takes place version upgrade. I never install a new version of Firefox on my previous version. I admit that I'm a more experienced user and generally start to use new versions of Firefox during the beta test period and install the beta version, with a separate profile required, to test the new product and test the compatibility of the add-on. I know that's not possible or convenient for all users.

  I will probably be wanting to improve various (f/w? /) components s/w after a hiatus of three years on the BB before... However, based on my own experience of technology, newer / more recent (f/w?) / s/w (pkgs) is (are) not always the best for the end user and, same can be limiting in some identifiable ways... I'm speaking in general terms here... so... it might be the last BB s/w is the absolute best way to go for my PC o/s and turn device platform... I'm just out there throwing this idea to make a educated to determine what updates to install and what level of version, in the case where the generalized suspicion that I have described above have no worth.

  For your 9630, you're already on the last level of operating system that fate/Telus media. I don't know if other carriers have published anything more advanced, but you can read a very good discussion here:

  Of after what I saw, I would assume that there is nothing 'new' than you... at least not officially... but you can dig through the portal to download official to validate the fact that:

  Given that it's carriers who hold responsibility for the release of BB OS packages to their clients, this portal is indeed sorted first by carrier... so you must first dig to find out which carriers support your 9630 and then compare packages of OS coming to present each company support. Unfortunately, it is also the responsibility of carriers to release change log information, but too much of them is rather lax on this point. But this thread I linked to above has I think some very good information that could help you in your quest. You should also look for other threads here (and elsewhere) on similar topics.

  Desktop software does not care the specific device. On the contrary, it gives some capabilities that you choose. For example, if you need the ability to export your BB to CSV/ASCII, then you need to stay in the range of version 6 because this feature has been removed from version 7. Similarly, if you intend to synchronize your BB with a computer (-) office or PIM, you must make sure that you run a Desktop software version that is compatible with your PIM:

  If none of those that are important and/or compatibility is fine with the latest version, it is often wiser to stick to the latest bug fixes, feature enhancements, etc. Is doesn't want to is not to say that people have no problems with the latest version through the Desktop board software on this site is confirm that pretty quickly! But, in general, there should be no harm/no foul to the use of the latest version of the with your BB desktop software.

  In addition, it is always a good idea to also download and install on your PC the BB OS package that is actually running on your BB. This is a little personalized Desktop software so that it can better work with your specific environment of BB. You cannot choose which components within the desktop software you want to update (mentioning "point line" you did)... instead, you install the whole package, and it contains within everything there as 'in progress' based on the global version of the Desktop software package.

  I tried to take a few pictures with my storm last night when I was at a party and when I tried to do, I got an error message.

  I can't show you a picture, you cannot add attachments, but the error message reads:

  (the folder icon) / Device memory/home/user/photos

  Name: IMG0007-200... (name of the photo)

  I looked everywhere that I have air...

  I went to the Options... Memory and looked at what I had available. Here's what I found:

  Application memory

  Free space: 9.6 MB

  The device memory

  Total area: 879.2 MB

  Free space: 0.0 KB

  Multimedia card

  Total space: 7.3 GB

  Free space: 5.6 GB

  Of course, the glaring problem is that I don't have ANY free space on the device.  Where everything is?  I have a 8 GB memory card and I have uploaded about 150 songs in my Storm. However, I have not downloaded photos or anything else. What happened to all the memory?   Where everything is?

  I tried a couple things like turn market, pulling out the memory card, etc... I tried to attach the storm and then sneaked in the records themselves and the only things I could find in ALL files was my MP3 files.

  Anyone know what's happened here?
