Stack bluetooth Toshiba occasionally prevents shutdown / restart / logoff

Hello!

Sometimes when I try to stop / restart / disconnect my M70 satellite it just does not react without any error message. The only way around this problem is to perform a forced shutdown of shell command "shutdown-s-f" with administrator rights.

In the application event log, I see the following error message:
=========================================
The security descriptor of the application to the Server COM C:\Program Files Toshiba Stack\TosBtSrv.exe application-specific access is invalid. It contains entries of access control with permissions that are not valid. The requested action was therefore not. The application assign this permission of the security program; to change this security permission contact the vendor of the application.
=========================================

I integrated module bluetooth onboard, XP Home, with the new battery bluetooth Toshiba page.

I couldn't set up my computer to use MS bluetooth stack. The solutions proposed on this forum has not worked for me.
I tried to reinstall the toshiba bluetooth stack a couple of times. Without battery installed stop BT works very well.

Suggestions how to fix this would be welcome.
Thank you

You have special firewall blocking parts of the application?
What happens if you turn the server part of series the battery COM in
-Mouse-right click on the Bluetooth icon on the systray-> Options...-> general: turn the Bluetooth Services: Bluetooth COM Port Service (uncheck)
Reset
Reboot-> problem still occur?

I was just assuming that I can use the software Toshiba for a bluetooth dongle? If Yes, how can I make sure Toshiba is used and not XP?

If you use a BT dongle, which came with the BT-stack from Toshiba, then it is no problem at all. If it was delivered with any other BT-stack, then is will very probably work too, but limited time only (30 days). If you install the battery Toshiba BT then the MS stack will be hidden and the Bt-stack from Toshiba is active by default. If you remove the
Toshiba BT-stack then the MS stack becomes active when MS - SP2 is installed.

  • Still problems with the adapter Bluetooth Toshiba Windows 7

    Hey there, it's me again.

I am referring to my 'Problem Bluetooth on Windows 7' subject:

I thought after the solution of bluecat that my problem has been resolved. But it isn't really.

After you install the Windows fix, it worked just a short time. But now the problem is the same.

When I remove the Toshiba Bluetooth Stack and try to work with Manager Bluetooth of Windows, I see that the Bluetooth icon is to come and one to go on the taskbar. In Device Manager, I said Windows, that it is not closed the device to save power. But I think that the device is on and walk and stop...

I really absolutely have no idea what is the problem, but I get terribly angry.

    Details:
    Windows 7
Dell Wireless Bluetooth internal adapter 350 (but it is manufactured by Toshiba)
Experienced pilots: Vista Pack of profile of the Dell homepage (no battery installed, driver only) / Toshiba Bluetooth Stack (the latest version)

    This is the old thread:

    Hi all

Just as I installed Windows 7, my keyboard and Bluetooth mouse do not work very well.

I use the Dell Wireless 350 Bluetooth internal adapter, Toshiba Bluetooth Stack 8.00.02 and the keyboard and mouse Logitech MX1000.

To connect the devices on my computer, I first have to disconnect the Bluetooth adapter by pressing Fn + F2 on my Dell i9400, after re-login I can search and connect devices correctly. They work fine as long as the laptop is running.

After restarting the laptop, devices no longer work. They are still in the known, but not connected Bluetooth stack. That's why I have to unplug the adapter Bluetooth, another time and reconnect in order to connect the two devices.

I first thought, it's a Windows problem. I thought that Windows is able to ask the adapter to save power. But when I go to Device Manager, there is no box for this option, as known from other devices (Te USB Ports). If this isn't the problem. I think the problem is something else, maybe performed by the Bluetooth stack.

Windows XP it worked perfectly. I used the same hardware and also the battery Bluetooth Toshiba (uploaded on the homepage of Dell).

    Someone at - it ideas?

    Thank you!

    Hey there

Yesterday I did Format C: and installed Windows 7 news.

I do not have a bluetooth driver for my Dell Wireless 350 Bluetooth adapt (made by Toshiba).

And now: the mouse and the keyboard work. I even do not see anywhere in my system, but they work.

There is no bluetooth adapter in my device manager and I had do not connect the keyboard and mouse with my computer. She simply do nothing.

    I do not understand this...

    What is a backup connection?

    What I tried:
-> Installation more recent Bluetooth Stack from Toshiba. Problem in the above message. I also installed the MS Hotfix. The same problem.

-> Installed "Vista profile Pack" on the home page of Dell, recommended for my laptop and Windows Vista. There is no battery installed. So I had to connect the mouse and keyboard via the Windows Bluetooth Manager. But the adapter was performed on and off windows, the icon in the task bar came and went and came and went. Connection is good, 1 minute then a few seconds. Not possible to work with the mouse.

And now, without having to install a driver, it works. Am I stupid?

  • Unable to get the Bluetooth Toshiba BT Stac Headset profile in collaboration with mic

    Hello.

I have problems with my Motorola HT 820 Stereo headset, the Toshiba Bluetooth Stack installed on Vista Home Premium 32 bit laptop.

I am unable to get the microphone to work at all, so can't use it for Skype / VOIP calls etc. Features such as the A2DP and AVRCP work very well, and I can listen to music via the media player without problems.

I read in a FAQ on this site, to make sure that I use the installation option custom rather than the quick installation when adding the device, but it seems to make no difference, am I missing a step here?

In the properties of the device Windows registry, I see the option listed for Bluetooth Mic, but even assigning as device by default does not work.

I know to plug my headphones on my desktop PC that uses the bluetooth stack Widdcom, can I use the headset/microphone function, but this battery seems to work differently, as I can select option headphones in the bluetooth settings, but I don't see such an interior option Toshiba stack - and I think that's the problem.

I've updated to the last stack of Toshiba on this website, but this did not help at all.

Here, any help would be appreciated.

Unfortunately I can't help you with that, but if I remember right here on the BT section that someone has already asked something similar. Please take a little time and see the BT section on this forum.

  • Stack Bluetooth can not be installed properly on Satellite C855 - 29M

    Hello

I just reinstalled Win 7 on my Satellite C855 - 29 M and have installed the downloaded drivers on the Toshiba site, which worked well. I had an unknown device in Device Manager that I discovered was because I needed to install the bluetooth stack.

I downloaded and installed bfdp-20130924160827, then bltstk 20130924152252, as suggested on these forums, but after restarting the laptop, it will load Windows, then restart, then asks to use repair or start windows normally.

None of these options worked so I have to use F8 know last good config that worked and when the laptop started to the top there was a message about the bluetooth stack with a missing file. I uninstalled battery bluetooth redownloaded and reinstalled but it's same thing.

    Any ideas guys?

    Hello

To be honest I don't know what the problem is here and what exactly did you do.
I checked the download page on http://www.toshiba.eu/innovation/download_drivers_bios.jsp and the fact is that your laptop is fully supported for Win7 64 bit so all necessary drivers, tools and utilities are ready for download from Toshiba.

Here is the correct order of installation for your machine:
    Windows 7 64-bit SP1
    SW 9.3.0.1020 Chipset installation utility
    Intel Management Engine Interface 8.0.1.1399_Package

Everything that you have done is good and all you can do is remove preinstalled components BT system, and after restarting the laptop, try to install again.
I don't know if this is the solution for you, but you can try to reinstall Win7 and install all the following stuff list installation displayed.

  • Battery Bluetooth Toshiba v Vodafone Remote Access Card

I have a conflict between the Toshiba Bluetooth stack on my Dell Latitude D410 (Windows XP SP2) installed and My Vodafone Connect Remote Access Card. When I insert the card, I get an error message asking me to verify that the card is inserted. When I uninstall the Bluetooth software, the card works satisfactorily. Disable Bluetooth doesn't have the same effect. Any ideas?

I assume you are using the USB Toshiba bluetooth adapter

    http://APS.toshiba-tro.de/Bluetooth/redirect.php?page=pages/Toshiba/USB-BT-adapter.html

Otherwise, the Toshiba Bluetooth stack does not work on your laptop. Follow these steps to make it work.
Delete Vodafone software and the Toshiba Bluetooth Stack.
Download the latest battery Bluetooth from the following URL and install it:

    http://APS.toshiba-tro.de/Bluetooth/redirect.php?page=pages/download.php

Now install the Vodafone card again. Now, it should work.
Note the order of installation is important as otherwise you will get a COM port conflict

  • Stack Bluetooth for Windows XP 64-bit edition?

    Hello

I recently bought a LevelOne Bluetooth USB, which contained the Toshiba Bluetooth Stack on its driver CD. Unfortunately I can not use this battery on my 64-bit edition of Windows XP, as Setup installs only the monitor, but not the necessary drivers.

So my question is: there will be a 64-bit version of the Toshiba bluetooth stack driver? If Yes, when and where can I get the appropriate update?

    Thanks in advance!

    Hi Modi

It's a very interesting question. Unfortunately, there is no concrete information on this subject, but I'm sure that this update will be in public with the first official edition of 64-bit Windows XP. I put t believe that updates will be available before the units will be delivered with the 64-bit operating system.
