Standard video adapter - after upgrade to Win VISTA 64

Hi, I upgraded my HP Pavilion DV6500 (product # KB343EA) for Windows VISTA 64-bit. I installed all the software and driver from the HP website, but the driver HP Web site Nvidia and Nvidia fails to recognize the hardware.

It says no compatible hardware found. I don't know what to do in this case? Help

Thank you paul.
Although automatic installation did not work, I had to wedge the driver in the tiny brain of vista, using the function "Have disk".
My laptop works perfectly now
Thanks to restrict the name n gpu driver

Hi, John. It's quite nervous of a member of the MS forum say that Dell is responsible to operate Windows. It wasn't Dell but MS who claims that Win10 has most of the necessary drivers and if not then the drivers Win7 and Win8.1 would work.

I doubt that it is possible for two reasons. Dell went from IDT Realtek as the audio seller so probably not more a a contract with IDT, if IDT even exist anymore. A year ago IDT was acquired by another company. I do not know its current status, but it is sure that the acquiring company will not be upgrading old software IDT. Reference Dell itself does not write the audio drivers. Even when IDT was the seller I believe that Win7 drivers are the final versions - no version 8 or 8.1 I think.

The native Windows audio driver can't stand struggling external mic. It is a MS 'known problem '. MS must implement a decision-making support, but there is no indication that it will be. Meanwhile, you have two workaround solutions. You can switch backwards between the natives and the IDT drivers. At some point Win10 could leave the IDT driver works correctly. Or get an outlet cheap usb audio to the microphone. Struggling running out-audio driver usb Windows native usb and so dependent no driver IDT.

  • Pavilion P6130F blue screen after upgrade to Win 7 because of the NVIDIA graphic card

My computer was working fine under Vista 64-bit. I got the upgrade CD Win 7 64 bit. The installation went well. But after a few days I get BSOD. The computer hangs at random: opening Visual Studio or even open a folder. The graphics card shows as NVidia GeForce 9100 in the Device Manager. I downloaded and installed the latest driver from HP site. That did not help. Then I installed the latest driver from NVidia site itself; This file is named: 195.62_desktop_win7_winvista_64bit_english_whql.exe, but that did not help either one.

Taskbark of the window has a message that 'graphic NVIdia has stopped working"and then recommend downloading drivers.

  • Cool eco does not activate the Portege Z10T after upgrading to Win 8.1

I mainly use my Ultrabook plugged in power & after upgrade to 8.1 Win Win 8 the "Eco-Office" is no longer active, constantly charge the battery to 100% when it should be 80%. I discharged the battery up to 10% and then active eco-responsible, but without success.

    Anyone have a solution please?

    First question:
After the upgrade of Windows 8 to 8.1 Windows did you download the installation drivers Toshiba and such software mentioned in the installation instructions located on the Toshiba UE driver page?

Its very important to install and update the Toshiba Utilities to get a good Win 8.1 working system.

  • No output micro HDMI after upgrading to Win 8.1

My new Yoga 2 Pro has a secondary display connected via micro HDMI port. He first worked as a charm. But after upgrading to new Windows 8.1 (this is done automatically) it is no longer produced anything to micro HDMI port. Display and the cable is fully functional. But even if the screen is turned on, the computer is unable to save and apparently it cannot display anything. Micro HDMI port seems to be non-existent.

After upgrade of windows, I tried to uninstall / reinstall the display driver. I also upgraded to Win 8.1 Intel drivers versions found on the support site of Lenovo (including the BIOS display driver Intel HD 4400 15.33.18.64.3496 and chipset 9.4.0.1026, 76CN38). But nothing seems to work.

A solution in the forum is to change the cable, but I think that there is no sense here that the cable worked perfectly until the upgrade.

    Can anyone suggest a solution?

Lenovo: Is there a driver for Intel version 15.36.0.3652 on the Intel Web site. However, there is a blockage on the pilot, you need to install own Lenovo driver downloads. Can you check if this solves the problem?

  • 8500 a909n all-in-one: could not find a way to install the HP Solution Center after upgrade to win 10

Grateful for help in finding a way to install the HP Solution Center after upgrade win10.  The installation CD original will not auto-run and when seteup.exe forced to run from the DVD, offers 'output' as the only item on the menu.  The HP support web site offers only the "HP Print and Scan Doctor for Windows" I have installed and tried to run several times.  Pretty frustrating.  Prints OK from normal applications, but am really struggling to analyze.  Any help appreciated.

I have a 8610 who worked during the first weeks perfectly under windows 8.1.

After the Win 10 update, it does not work.  The installer who "sees" the printer on the wireless network, impossible to install drivers or programs.

Hate to say it, but I think we're out of luck until HP fixed their software.

Very ironic because they don't have that tell of these printers are compatible with Windows 10 messages.  Technically, that's true; It is their software that isn't.

  • HP 450-011: delete the recovery partition after upgrade to win 10?

I have a new HP 450-011 and it came with Win 8.1 and the recovery with the letter D: drive partition.  I did the upgrade to windows 10.  I made a set of recovery DVD for win installation 8.1.  Is there a reason for me not to delete the D: drive and replace it with my information?  I seriously doubt I'll want to roll back to 8.1 Win.

    Greetings,

Have you tested the Win 8.1 HP Recovery disks before installing Win 10?

A question is: If you need technical assistance from HP tech for a possible hardware problem. HP normally requires that the factory installed operating system to take in charge. This policy of HP may have changed during the upgrade to win 10. I do not suspect.

You can export the recovery, Partition because it will not work now in any case.

But you need a way to go back to win 8.1 when you need HP warranty support.

Since you have already upgraded to Win 10, the only way to check the recovery of 8.1 Win disks is to use them and start all over again. Or the support of disks/USB recovery HP Win 8.1 on a new equivalent or larger HDD or SSD. A good installation means that you have now the factory install on this disk.

    It's a lot of work.

The problem of guaranteed support is your problem.

I have eliminated this problem by installing Win 10 on a new SSD. I have HP Win 8.1 on a separate SSD and win 10 on a different SSD. Possible guarantee problem solution means earn 8.1 running on HP SSD factory to check the problem of winning 10 SSD.

  • Blue screen after upgrading to Win 8.1 - Satellite C850 - 17G

    A year ago, I bought a Satellite C850 - 17 G (PSKCCE) with Windows 7 pre-installed. For a small fee, I upgraded to Win 8. Worked well.

In November 2013, I wanted to do the free update to Win8.1. There I estimated at 2.5 months and a lot of reading on the forums to complete the upgrade to 8.1 Win. Everything worked fine for about 3 weeks.

Can I get some updated windows up-to-date pressed, restarted the laptop and it ended the history of success.
Blue screen and I had this option was to force back to the factory settings.
So here I am again with Windows 7.

On the Toshiba site, I see now that my model of laptop, Satellite C850 with part No. PSKCCE is not a model of support for the update 8.1 Win. Can someone tell me why?

It will support in the future?

    > On the Toshiba site, I see now that my model of laptop, Satellite C850 with part No. PSKCCE is not a model of support for the update 8.1 Win

Hmm, I guess you're wrong because on the Toshiba UE driver page I could find drivers Windows 8.1 for the Satellite C850 PSKCCE
    http://www.Toshiba.EU/innovation/download_drivers_bios.jsp

BSOD issues are really bothersome, because this can happen due to hardware malfunction or also due to problems of system or driver.
Same 3rd party software could affect systems

That's why it very difficult to say what might cause this problem without checks unique pieces, the pilot, and the reporting system.

  • Satellite P850 - 057 Webcam does not not after upgrade to win 8.1 pro

the webcam was working fine until what the windows upgrade to Win 8.1 pro, the webcam is not displayed in Device Manager. BIOS definition OK, I could not find a driver for TOSHIBA WEBCAM HD for windows 8.1 pro, please help

    Hello

The Windows 8.1 does not require driver external webcam.
Usually, the webcam driver is part of the Win 8.1 system and so the webcam should be recognized automatically.

To my knowledge, the webcam is connected to the USB controller. You have a few unknown devices (USB devices) in Device Manager with yellow exclamation?

By the way: you would update the BIOS to the latest State and system of Toshiba driver to win 8.1 installed?
