  Less than two months ago, I upgraded my HP Jet Windows 7 to 10. Over time some questions popped up (random apps that could not be opened, etc.) so I decided to do a full reset, deleting the files from the user. I did, however, get a mouse works and has managed to create a new user and login. However, the touchscreen does not work in Windows. I was able to get into the settings and looked at the Device Manager settings. There was only a mouse driver listed under Human Interface. I also noticed a number of question marks in the subtopic of the processor drivers.

  I was able to use the OTG cable to try to re - install Windows 10 from a USB key. When a similar initial settings (language, keyboard) screen broke, I couldn't use the touchscreen. Later, I created a USB with Windows 8.1 thinking he might have a better chance. The same problem. He does not touch inputs.   You must set it in the BIOS (F2 at startup). I think it's under advanced in the BIOS menu. Choose Mode 1; If that doesn't work try Mode 2.

  Usually, you need to install the webcam driver and sound to get the microphone working. The microphone is a part of webcam

  As you wrote, Satellite A210 is not Windows 7 64 bit supported, so the only option you have the Vista 64 bit drivers

  In my opinion, you should check if the Microphone is turned on in Windows audio settings. There you can also activate the Microphone Amplifier, which can increase the volume of the microphone.

  I recently bought for laptop HP ENVY 17-n013na .  It came with Windows 8.1. I have to install Windows 7. Unfortunately, the legacy in BIOS boot option does not work for me. Here is detailed information:

  BIOS version: F.04 Rev 5.0

  I tried updating to the latest version of the BIOS on the Support site.

  To activate the option to boot legacy, I followed the following steps:

  • Entered, BIOS configuration utility
  • Go to the System Configuration
  • > Boot options
  • Changed the setting to the Legacy Support on " Enabled"
  • F10 - save changes & exit

  Now, after the restart, if I go once more, configuration of the BIOS Legacy Support is set to disabled. Whenever I have change to active BIOS, Save & Exit, it is up to the people with reduced mobility. Because of that I can't run the installer of Windows 7 DVD.

  Please provide any help & suggestions.
