Star wars the old Republic game

I loaded the game star wars the old Republic x 86 and signed in and then I listen to music but to a white screen black cannot play, I tried compatibility in Windows 7, the windows xp server 2 pack and as an administrater and uninstalled installed several times in x 64 and x 32 but still the same problem not a black screen blank , I know that its not working because I can hear the sound and music of the game, please can you help me?

A complete list of the specifications for the system are often useful, but--
-It could be that you have chosen a resolution that your monitor cannot be used.
-Alternatively, you may just need to update your graphics drivers.

-What are you referring to-"installed several times in x 64 and x 32?
If the game has an option select you one that fits your version of Windows.

-Unless you're talking about Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic, you shouldn't have
to use any compatibility setting.  In fact, you shouldn't have the compatibility settings for
the first version either - I do not have.

There was some discussion posted about 'Star Wars the Old Republic'.
You can find a solution in one of them, or on the web site of games.

  • Satellite C50-A-1 - game "Star Wars: the old Republic ' is lagging

    Hello

I recently bought a Satellite C series. (C50-A-1 more specficly).
Problem is when I downloaded star wars: the old Republic, the game lags badly.

The graphics in the game are set in the lowest possible to minimize lags and yet I still get them. Here's some info of dxdiag, although they should be known for this type of laptop, I suppose that:

    OS: 64-bit windows 8.1
Processor: 2.13 GHz (2 CPUs) (Intel, Celeron)
    memory: 4096 MB
    DirectX 11

Please help with it as soon as possible thank you

Have you already checked the hardware requirements to play this game smoothly?

C50-A-1 satellite was equipped with an internal Intel HD graphics card.
This GPU is part of the Intel CPU and to be honest, this isn t graphics card designed for purposes of games.

To play games smoothly, you need a laptop nVIdia or ATI graphics cards.

  • Getting kicked to the Office of games like Star Wars The Old Republic...

So I have an app I think which is kick off games... Well I play only 2, Star Wars: The Old Republic and Battlefield 3. When I'm playing SWTOR, he kick me on the desk. Let me be clear though, it crashes, because I can get back in the game with Alt + Tab or by clicking on the icon. Now, the only thing I installed was Ninite. For those who don't know, that ninite is an open application source that will update all the programs selected for you with these programs, they are ones I asked to put up-to-date. Firefox, Chrome, Silverlight, Air, Java, Java x 64, Shockwave, uTorrent, 7-Zip, steam, Auslogics, Skydrive, VLC, Spotify, Google Drive, Dropbox, Evernote, iTunes, .NET, Google Earth, Malwarebyte s, Ad-Aware and Spybot 2.

I made sure that I turned off all auto scan on their part, but I'm still getting kicked on the desk during playback of SWTOR. When I play Battlefield 3, it's as if he's trying to throw out me, but he goes out only for a second and then returns to the game. It's REALLY annoying especially when SWTOR reading, because the game is so huge that even my computer rather fast takes a few seconds of rear loading. It's do or die during playback of PvP in SWTOR and something like that means you're going to die, if you play in PvP.

I don't know what else it could be, because these are programs (actually Ninite) was installed before what is happening. I actually had this problem before with SWTOR, but this happened only from time to time, and by that I mean maybe once a week so no biggie. Now, this happens on every 30 minutes or more. I'm just guessing.

If I knew the offending program, I either disable or uninstall. I've looked in Task Manager and can not find one that is, because TM it does not show as a running application. That said, I do not know there is a process running for it, but I don't know what it is. It's not like I can look in the newspapers because it is not an error. Someone has ideas how to identify the offending program?

BTW, I went into MSCONFIG and disabled everything except essential programs like Antivirus support, keyboard and mouse etc. I don't even have Ad-Aware or Spybot from and these services are set to manual, but it seems logical that he is one of them.

TL; DR: I get kicked to the desktop while playing SWTOR and cannot know which program is the cause.

    Thanks in advance!

Thanks, yes I did.  I found it was my antivirus.  Somehow, it became corrupted and I think he tried to update literally all the time.  For some reason, it only affected Battlefield 3 and 4 and The Old Republic.  Norton Internet Security is 2013.  I have always used Norton, but I now have NIS 2014.

Norton was originally the best and then he got very swollen from 2005 to 2012 all about, but they are now very good again and one of the best.  He now has a very small footprint and it uses very few resources and it is excellent protection.  I guess BitDefender is THE best right now, but it is also a big memory eater.  In any case, I think it was just a bug they set now.

  • Star Wars the Old Republic & Windows 8

I recently, relatively speaking, bought a new Dell Alienware Aurora with pre-installed Windows 8.  The machine has 2 x NVIDIA GeForce GTX 660
GPU. Since the purchase of the machine, I have had problems with some games does not not initially under Windows 8 and were able to fix most of them.  However, SWToR seems to be particularly difficult to solve.  I run the file .exe as administrator, even if my account on the PC is the admin account, I checked Norton 360 (my anti-virus and firewall) and SWToR is set for internet access.  I am able to access the servers to patch OK, but when I run the program I reach the loading screen and go to the list of game severs which is empty.  I checked the Electronic Arts? Site Web of BioWare and all servers are running.  Does anyone have suggestions on what can cause a problem?  All the drivers are and have been updated.

As a secondary issue, I noticed a couple of times that my graphics cards seem to stop working after a reboot after an update from Microsoft.  I normally log on a screen using HDMI but, on one occasion had to disable the graphics drivers and restart using a VGA cable and reinstall the drivers before you can again use the HDMI.

    Hello

You must uninstall and reinstall graphics card drivers. And for the DIF with the game, it will be best if you contact the seller of game to help because it seems to be the problem with the game server.

I talked to your answers on the similar problem. However, in my case I don't reach even the main menu of the game.

Please note that I do not install this game on my laptop with Windows Vista Ultimate.

Thank you very much in anticipation

    syb1987

    Hello syb1987,

As Meghmala mentioned, the game is listed as being fully compatible, however:

    (1) you can try to run the game in different compatibility modes to determine is that they work.

    (2) have you installed XP Mode? Try maybe to install XP Mode and install the game in the virtual environment.

    (3) you can find others on the forums for this game in particular who were lucky in getting the game to properly install and run better.

    Hope this heps

  • Is it possible to run Star Wars: riders of the old Republic (SWKotor 1) without problem?

    Hello

I use VMPlayer. Among other things, I would like to play the classic RPG Star Wars: Old Republic (SWKotor 1) riders. I've installed and am able to start with the video and sound. But when I run the game for real, there are many graphic errors (texture?), what makes little unplayable. When I do the scan of material which is accompanied by the game, he spends everything except the video test. He says that I do not meet the recommended specifications (warning yellow but not red) and I use VMware SVGA II 256 MB instead of the best suited is ATI Radeon 9200 or higher or NVidia GeForce4 Ti or better.

The host is the Guest Windows XP Pro SP3 and Win7 64 bit.

Help would be very appreciated, even without a reward ;-)

(see the discussion of Fusion pay $ 1000 to anyone who can get working on VMWare Workstation SWTOR - but please do not confuse, they speak a different game)

    Thx a lot

It is sometimes possible to play games inside a virtual machine. "VMware SVGA II or 3D" is a software based on GPU without any access to the GPU hardware inside your host. I would try to install DirectX 9.0 c and hope for the best.
