Start LabView menu

I have a teststand sequence that uses run asynchronous VI to display output to the camera while the sequence is running. When the sequence runs the first DUT the Menu start of LabView (see attached Image) rises and covers the entry window of the UUT. Once the Start Menu of LabView is reduced to a minimum, everything goes well until the test sequence is stationary then turns the Start Menu of LabView. Y at - it anyway to keep the Start Menu of LabView always minimized or even better make sure it never comes upward during the execution of the sequence. I spent hours trying to reconfigure LabView and TestStand with no luck. It comes to cunfusing for operators to use

Hey Jimbo,.

Could check you your LabVIEW adapter settings (configure > adapters > double-click LabVIEW)? This screen should appear only if you use the LabVIEW development system, and generally for the operator-run test you want to use the runtime engine instead. This could help with the issue.

Another thing you could try is to set up the camera output window so that it is modal to TestStand. You can find an example of this integrated to TestStand; Basically, there are 'Start a modal dialogue' and 'end of modal dialog"live in the palette of TestStand in LabVIEW. These screws allow you to configure a VI to appear in modal form to TestStand.

I'm leaning towards the parameters of the card being in the likely case, but let me know how to make these steps!

  • Don't want Phoenix I7: Start 10 menu appears not

I recently tried to install Corel X 3 using XP compatibility mode, but it did not work and damaged my menu of the Start button. Everything seems to be OK, but clicking on the Windows icon results in a brief "Hourglass" and no activity. I tried a system restore, but it tells me it couldn't find a file (AV was off), so I can only assume that X 3 deleted something. I tried some of the suggestions catering menu to start with powershell etc but none have brought.

I don't want to re - load Windows, if I can avoid it, but it seems to be running out of options. Any suggestions please?

    Hello;

Let me welcome you on the HP forums!

I read your post on your Win10 Start Menu problem and wanted to help.

What COULD something work is known as a repair installation.  It is less destructive of all functions of Windows recovery and rewrites the files from Windows system, including drivers, leaving your apps, settings and data intact.

To do this, you will need to use the link to the installation media to download Win10 and burn a DVD or create a USB key: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-10/media-creation-tool-install?ocid=ms_wol_win10

Once you have, follow the instructions in the link: http://www.tenforums.com/tutorials/16397-repair-install-windows-10-place-upgrade.html

    Good luck

  • Executable VI generating an error 222 on Keithley 2612 although his run correctly when starting labview 2009 directly

    Hi all

I have a VI that works perfectly and I can control, a 2612 Keithley has for measurements of transistor.

The VI run well when I realize it from the computer that has the Labview 2009 (XP OS) platform

Equipment (IE Keithley 2612 A) is related to another computer that is not labview 2009.

I installed the Run-time-engine 2009 (32-bit XP OS) on this computer.

Then, I create an executable of my VI with the option 'build application.

The executable VI starts normally on the computer, but when I run it, I get an error message from the Keithley 2612 (which wasn't the case when I ran the VI directly from the computer haing LabVIEW 2009 installed on it). The error message is 222 (ie the long parameter)

I thought I did something wrong and I create an executable from an original VI of Keithley (IE without modification). I get the same error message.

When I create an executable with the runtime engine 2009 included (because it is possible to do with LB 2009), I am geeting the same error message.

So I need to check step after step, when the message arrives but

Someone knows something about such a question?

    Thank you

    Hi all

Just for those who might experience a similar problem.

I found the solution after fighting all the possibilities.

The source of the problem was (for some reason) that the country setting of the computer was wrong

and decimals are written with one, instead of a point.

As I correctly reset the country setting, stand-alone files work normally.

  • Windows 7 turns with start open Menu then automatically starts programs

Not very tech savvy, so I don't know if this has something to do with a virus.

Yesterday, I noticed that Firefox kept reporting '' high unusual activity. '' I removed all the possible extensions that may be the cause. To be sure, I did a with Windows Defender and Kaspersky virus scan and no viruses were found. My computer up to date with this malicious software removal tool, but it would not be updated from Windows Explorer 11.

This morning, at the opening of my computer, I noticed that the Start Menu was suddenly. Then it started to open programs automatically. When I opened Firefox, once again he says '' high unusual activity. ''

Would appreciate any help step by step.

We understand. You can remove applications on the boot parameters. Click on this link to help you solve this problem.

  • Add file user POP start menus Menu

When Windows 7 was installed on my computer I had my user folder on the right side of the start menu and when I flew over it I'd get a pop out menu I could then hover over any other file that I want and so on.  My motherboard had to be replaced, and now I can't pop out menu for my user folder.  I actually click on it and go through all the windows go where I want to go.  Does anyone know if there is a way to recover those pop menus?  It was much easier to glide my way over what I had to open!

Start button right click and click Properties,

On the top of the page, click on customize,

Scroll personal folders and check the display menu,

    Apply and OK.
