Start markers

Y at - it a special syntax for charger property start and stop markers. I assumed that normal ascii would be OK, because the markers are specified in the dialog box.

    I have a large wav file to finish securities as a mixer and inserted the CD markers where I want the marked pistes. Icon "Are the selected markers to separate the export audio files" is grayed out outside in the markers window. The titles show starts but no end of times, and yet time is calculated. Why can't I export those items marked as separate files?

    You must make the markers of track in regions for the Export of work function. Make sure that you have placed a marker at the end of the file, as well as at the beginning of each track. Then select all the markers in the marker list by left clicking the first then shift left click on the last. You can then merge markers in the channels using the comb as icon (3rd from left) at the top of the list of markers. You will then be able to export the lines marked as separate files.

  • How to lock the start of a clip to a specific bar

    I'm working on a soundtrack to a movie, and like most people do this kind of work, I need to work with different tempos. I started with the clip, I placed so that the visual cue would correspond to 5 1 1 1 bar in my project of logic. Is where the music starts.

    Now, I'm experimenting different tempos. Problem is: whenever I have change the tempo of the project, the film desynchronises, which is, I have to manually position the region video on the song from the movie so that my reference corresponds to 5 1 1 1 bar again. It becomes a nightmare since I created different alternatives, each with a different tempo.

    I tried to create film markers or markers smpte-locked, and they work very well, because they stick to the time code, not on the bars, so whenever I change the tempo they keep in sync with the film. Remains the major problem remains: the beginning of the clip changes its position, so I have to manually synchronize in the top bar of my song (5 1 1 1).

    What I would do is, lock the clip to a specific bar (in my case, 5, 1, 1, 1) so that whenever I change the tempo of the project my visual cue is in harmony with my first bar. Is this possible?

    I looked around many forums and found many similar questions, all dating from 8 or 10 years, so it seems that it is something that has been around for some time and did not have a proper fix. Any help is appreciated!

    FOUND A SOLUTION!

    After digging a bit in the logic of the user manual, I found a solution. I'm posting it so that everyone who has had the same problem can find the answer here!

    Under "Project settings", there is a tab called synchronization. There will find you:

    Position bar: (1 1 1 1) plays to the SMPTE (00:00:00:00.00)

    This is the default, and he said logical that the first bar must synchronize with the first frame of the SMPTE. So I changed it to the following:

    Position bar: (5 1 1 1) plays to the SMPTE (01:00:15:11.49).

    This is.

  • You can add chapter markers... I know they went from iMovie 10.1

    Very frustrated with the iMovie 'upgrade', but I have already imported and edited the video so new that it is not possible to go back to the old backups. My frustration is the lack of chapter markers. If I want to burn to a DVD or look in other software, I would that the ability to jump quickly between specific scenes in a video of 1 h. For example, I have a video of dozens of swimming events. My girls love to watch their races to watch their technique, and they often want to attend a race several times given. I just want to be able to hit 'new chapter' and be at the start of a particular race. Since iMovie 10.1 can no longer do this, I'm looking for other solutions... without having to invest hundreds. I tried to import into GarageBand (an older version) and I think this might work (my version of exports still GB to iDVD), but the timeline for Go is kind of awkward to find exactly where I want to place markers. So, although I might end up here, I hope to other solutions.

    I found Subler.  I have tested it on a file exported .mp4 but it seems to work well (even after importing to iDVD).

  • H9-1150 Pavilion: H9-1150 PC does not start with WIndows 7 Home Premium 64-bit with ASUS 960 GTX card.

    I've seen others have posted simular questions, but I thought id repost this even in the case where there is more help.  I have the Elite Phönix Pavalion h9-1150 desktop with Windows 7 Home premium 64-bit.  and the bios HP 7.07 (seems no possible to upgrade the bios).

    As others have had I install the new graphics card, the 960 Asus GTX card that came out last month and the system start gives about 3 beeps in about 30 seconds and then it goes to a screen that is black with a blinking cursor and nothing else happens. cannot enter bios or settings for HP...

    I tried to disable UEFI boot devices in bios settings and enable only the legacy devices (after him swinging back on my original card, then move on to the new card), but it still gives 3 beeps after the start.   However, I was able to get into windows. Although I think that this may be due to turn off the computer with the old card in without power first. and after 3 beeps (which always blocks you on the bios menu) sometimes it appears the window where you can select the safe mode or normal mode... as sometimes happens if you start your computer with windows 7 If you had just it off without turning off power or something.  There, I can get into windows and run the PC and graphics card without problem, it's just when I try to start the problem happens.

    and suppor HP no. is NOT a fault of the card itself. As much before. I bought an EVGA card earlier a GTX 780 and SAME problem happened (although I have not tried to remove it then devices boot UEFI)...

    There is a problem of spacific with HP computers that seem to lock 'new' start-up equipment.

    Honestly not be blunted. I really think it's bad what I read somewhere that even if HP would never say it they do it on purpose to prevent people ruin of guarantee or any "liabity' that occur by people any other hardware on HP computers inventory installation

    makes no since to me.  the PC SHOULD be able to run the card. in fact his race he now once I was able to circumvent the blocking (temporarily) check markers, everyhting is fine tracks of card 3 times faster then old (that should be the case).

    But it's just this block as HP for some reason any installed on their bios/cards mothers is the question.

    Good news is I got it from amazon and I have about a month, until I return. which I think this time I'll make.  to see if something pops up in a month or something.

    It's the ONLY solution, it seems that HP has officially to deactivate start secure Windows 8

    but this isn't a computer of windows 8. and I guess even if install windows 8. the issue wouldn't disappear because given that its an older bios, there is no way to have a secure boot option to delete?

    HP you really need to get on the ball and give us a straight answer on this subject.  Is it ALL WAY to solve this problem? Can you not just do an older BIOS update to allow this? Or do you simply not want to worry about old PCs?

    anyway I think that it is wrong and very frustrating and to be honest. If this is the case when my pc otherwise MUST run on demand

    It's a PCI express 16 x slot card that is 3.0

    Here are the specifications of deetailed according to the guidelines of your page

    http://h20564.www2.HP.com/hpsc/doc/public/display?docid=c03273835

    the card SHOULD WORK fine.  I thought the GTX 780 was a little too much for the PC as he had more then a six pin port and needed a little more power, so at first I thought it was the question. so I returned it. and has now got this new card.

    However, the ASUS GTX 960 map requires the SAME power that the card GTX 550 it by default and the SAME SIX connector

    so it SHOULD work.

    and performance tests indicate that it FACT it's just stupid... bios that asks the question.

    I'm afraid to turn off the computer at the moment and try again to see if windows starts normally after you turn off the startup UEPI devvices because he cannot start properly...

    HP you are one of the largest suppliers of computers you know technology what are YOUR computers.  WHY cant you give us a direct awnser on this.

    ITS VERY frustrating

    and to be honest if I can't solve this problem, I am very hestient never buy another product HP if their spacifically computers have this new method of hardware locking.

    because I have the card now works on my pc, it runs great! 3 times as fast as it should! and yet, I know in the back of my mind, if I can't understand this bad likely issue just to send it back... less I have time.

    and for now, I did not have money to buy a new pc. This PC is JUST perfect for what I need for now another card then you want a little better...

    He shoudnt be as much hassle there?

    Thank you.

    Hello

    You need update the BIOS that is listed under Windows 8 to support the new graphics.   You must upgrade to Windows 8 or temporarily install Windows 8, you can install the update to the BIOS.  While there may be other ways to install the BIOS update, clearly having Windows 8 running will be the safest way.  8 BIOS version is your best chance to get the latest graphics cards to work.

    You can Windows 8 Enterprise 90 days trial.

    If you decide to install W8, then create external recovery HP Media and backup your data before doing anything.

    The reality is that there is no guarantee that any particular graphics card will work in any particular PC, even if the graphics card works in other PC or even the same or similar model PCs. Know what the return policy is before you buy.

  • Custom location markers MapField will not Center

    Hi all

    I am facing a problem where the location for my custom MapField (OS 5.0) markers are not perfectly centered on the map. Instead, they always appear in the same place, which is a little lower and more to the right of the Center.

    I use the method object of my MapField custom to draw markers.  Can we see what might be the culprit?  Thank you!

    protected void paint(Graphics graphics) {
        super.paint(graphics);

        if (vector != null) {
            for (int i = 0; i < vector.size(); i++) {

                LocationsObject loc = (LocationsObject) vector.elementAt(i);

                Coordinates coords = getCoordinates();
                coords.setLatitude(Double.parseDouble(loc.getStrLocationLatitude()));
                coords.setLongitude(Double.parseDouble(loc.getStrLocationLongitude());

                XYPoint point = new XYPoint();
                convertWorldToField(coords, point);

                Bitmap bitmap = Bitmap.getBitmapResource("location_marker.png");

                graphics.drawBitmap(point.x, point.y, bitmap.getWidth(),bitmap.getHeight(), bitmap, 0, 0);

            }
        }
    }

    I think I know what is happening here. Will do my best to explain.

    Assume that your brand image is of size 10 x 10. And the size of your device screen 480 x 360. Now, you want to put the marker in the center of the screen that will be (240 180) in our case. Now, when you call the drawbitmap, you will be probably development of marker (0,0) to (240 160) screen image. Method of painting will start shooting your bitmap of this point.

    To center the image of marker perfectly on (240 160), it must be placed on (235 155). Here I subtracted (marker.width/2, marker.height/2) from the center point. In our example, the marker is 10 x 10. So you get (240 160) - (5.5) = (235, 155)

    In the code you prob you have to do something like that.

    int markerX = point.x - bitmap.getWidth () / 2;
    int markerY = point.y - bitmap.getHeight () / 2;
    graphics.drawBitmap (markerX, markerY, bitmap.getWidth (), bitmap.getHeight (), bitmap, 0, 0);

    I hope that this is the only problem.

  • Export markers does not include end time

    I use hearing CC and I created about 3 dozen range markers. I need to export all of my range markers to a CSV file. When I do this, the file does not include the end time. It's just how this function applies, or is it possible to enter the time of the end?

    I need to combine several clips and export in a single project or mp4 format with the name of the element and start time in a csv format. I would like that my workflow as follows:

    1. to import the mp4 (file name = name of the clip)

    2. slide the timeline by chronological order of capture

    3. easily define marker chronological beginning of the clip (auto-magiquement if possible)

  • Workflow for interviews using markers

    I recorded a podcast in hearing and have been using markers to segment the conversation so I can easily go to the sections of interest.  I cut sections of the interview, such as 'ums', no voice or noise of whole sections I don't think add value.  There are two issues I'm dealing with this:

    1. I can choose a vertical cut in time, but hitting "delete" removes only content of the selected track and I can't seem to find a way to select multiple tracks.  I want to remove the selected all securities segment and drag the new chapters on the straight flush with the left in one step
    2. If I delete each section individually or find a way to do everything at once, when I drag the clips to the left, the sound moves, but the markers remain.  I would like the markers to be compared to the track instead of an absolute time.

    I know that I can use the tools incorrectly, so I am open to suggestions and alternatives!

    Yes, you pourrait use ripple delete, but for me, I would say that this editing something as simple as an interview, or even a group discussion, in multitrack view is going to be tedious or messy (as you start to find) or both.

    My inclination would be to get the right from his first and make a stereo mix of everything. And then change to the meaning, because it is a much easier process. And, hearing has the tools to make which is quite easy, because it is how the radio production staff have used for decades.

    Once you have your stereo mixed, is open in waveform. Here, you can select each of the parts of it to use and for each a F8 hit, that will make a region marker around it, you can also label. Now you have the possibility to send all of these sections as clips in multitrack view or individually - you can right click on an individual item in the list of markers to get an option to insert individually - collectively, where you can rearrange them in the order you want. You then mix the result down, and you have your result. Doing it this way gives you a number of advantages, especially if you need to rearrange things or 'version' them.

    Just a quick word about the speech as a process changing, given what you have said above. The basic principle of editing is not about deleting anything be it; This is to choose what you want to use. This isn't just a pedantic point more - she actually affects how you should think about the desired result. By selecting which adds to a discussion is much more efficient that simply remove what appears to be get in the way, if you see what I mean. Once you realize this, he also informed the way in which ask you questions during interviews, in a very positive way - it makes editing much easier process if you have not saved a ton of waffle!

    Also, you have to be careful with the "ums" and especially made a break. A break before someone answer to a difficult question often said as much as the answer. And pauses in speech are important anyway; These gaps are where the listener assimilates what has just been said...

    If you delete all "ers" and "ums" it will in fact be more obvious that the change took place - these things are natural. Obviously if someone is really bad at home so that you have to store it a little, but don't go overboard. Remember that editing more successful is the stuff that nobody can detect, and listeners are remarkably sensitive to the foibles of the human voice!

  • Creating markers in metadata tags

    Hello

    I was wondering if there are (preferably MXF) metadata that will be represented as markers when tags the file containing these is imported to first - or a sidecar XMP is the only way to go here? The idea behind it is (outwardly) consolidate the individual clips from a disk (flash) in a single file and have markers where to start the previously single clips.

    All the markers, for all types of files, are stored in XMP.

    Note: Body stores the various XMP places for different file formats. However, if you use our calls get / setXMPMetadata (), your panel of should not care where we store the metadata; It'll just work.

    How do you concatenate these multiple clips? Prelude can do for you, as well.

    If your group has N bit files into one big file concatenation, you can 'do the math' to create markers on the aggregate file, corresponding to these markers which would have been for individual files.

  • Starting lineup by hitting a marker

    Hey guys!

    Then I tried searching and searching, but can't find answers. Here's what I'm trying to achieve:

    1. I have a comp with a lower third animation in and out (text and image).

    2. I would like to create 2 markers on this Primer of comp. Marker1 animation in the lower third, and Marker2 starts the animation of the output.

    So when I move the markers, the lower third part starts output hitting these markers. Yes, I could just move the layer comp, but this is no challenge. I'm learning :-)

    Anyone got any ideas on how this could be done?

    I appreciate your efforts to learn, but one of the most important things to learn when you work in production is to know how to act effectively.

    Here are some rules established for 1/3 lower graphics. The time it takes for a viewer to read and understand a graph lower 1/3 is fairly constant. Generally, you are much better make every 1/3 lower graphics in your program of the same length. If you want to have a few different lengths for your chart, then it is better to make different models.

    From your description, it seems that you add your 1/3 lower your program inside AE. It is a very inefficient way of working. In almost all cases, if your AE comp has more than one shot or a short sequence then you lose production time fiddling around with the wrong tool for editing. 90% of my compositions are a shot which is typically 7 seconds or less. The other 10% are sequences that last no longer than a sentence or two or sometimes a paragraph in the voice over. All editing is done in an NLE. It is much faster in the long run. On very rare occasions, I'll use AE to accomplish something on a stage that is a few minutes long, but when this happens, the scene is already published and all part of the same part of a story and my AE comp is only a few layers which extend to the entire scene. You will see that when you start to think of the EA as a tool to make the shots and a NLE as a tool for editing the shots in history that your productivity will increase by a factor of about 10.

    Last point, if I have a bunch of 1/3 below, that I always do an AE model that can be used in Premiere Pro that has text editable. An asset in Premiere Pro that can be used for 100 different people in a 2-hour program where you change the copy directly in the Premiere Pro sequence. All it takes is to check the Advanced Composition settings tab.

    I guess I'll mention another point. It is quite possible to use markers or entry points and car animation layers using expressions. I do it all the time. Most of my graphics animated in the explainer videos have any keyframes. I just create the graphic in Illustrator on separate layers, position the layers in artificial intelligence in their resting position, then import the file HAVE as a model and start applying pre-defined animations and setting in and out points. Most of the time all I have to do is to sequence layers and points of entry and to match the narrative and I'm done. Here is an example of one of my most used presets. A graph flys in left side and bounces at the stop, then just before the ends of the layer that it falls out of the comp disappear from the image exactly on the diagram point. There are some controls added to the layer effects, so I can customize the fly at the time, the rate of decay rebound and other things. Here is the preset animation. Feel free to play with it and use it. Dropbox - flyInBounceDropOut.ffx

    This is the phrase that is used. If you look carefully, you can find the named in the expression controls effects.

    FIS = effect ("slideIn Frames")("Slider");

    SOF = effect ("slideOut Frames")("Slider");

    find in and out point

    Respondent = FIS * thisComp.frameDuration;

    If (effect ("Match if SO")("Checkbox") == 0) {}

    outTime = sof * thisComp.frameDuration;

    }

    ElseIf (effect ("Match if SO")("Checkbox") == 1) {}

    outTime = intimate;

    }

    Size of the layer when scale of difficulty

    SF = scale - [100, 100];

    xSize = width + (width * sf [0] / 100);

    ySize = height + (height * sf [1] / 100);

    realSize [xSize, ySize] =;

    Adjustment positions

    SPX = 0 - realSize [0] + realSize [0] / 2;

    rstx = value [0];

    rsty = value [1];

    EPY = thisComp.height + realSize [1] - realSize [1] / 2;

    create a movement

    FREQ = effect ("bounce Frequency")("Slider");

    amplitude = effect ("Amplitude bounce")("Slider");

    cavity effect = ("bounce Decay")("Slider");

    posCos = Math.abs (Math.cos(freq*time*2*Math.PI));

    y = amplitude * posCos/Math.exp(decay*time);

    moveIn = Math.min (linear (time, inPoint, inPoint + respondent, spx, rstx-y));

    Obliquity = Math.min (linear (time, outPoint-outTime, outPoint - thisComp.frameDuration, rsty, epy));

    [moveIn, obliquity]

    Effects controls that are added are:

    You can position any layer size anywhere you want in a model at all scales and then to apply the preset. The layer moves just outside the box to the left to the place in a fall off the screen at the point of exit. Dive into this idea a bit and learn expressions and you can save yourself a lot of time. You can use the technique to animate a property that can be controlled by an expression.

  • The font used for the symbols associated cross ref markers?

    Recently, we got new laptops and improved FM13 from FM 11. I noticed 1 or 6 which are where I expect to see cross reference source markers. Given that I couldn't remove them manually, but they would disappear if I disabled the option of text symbols, I guess that these numbers are displayed instead of the expected symbols because miss me a font.

    No one knows what the police use Adobe form his cross reference markers?

    Thank you!
    Barry Jorden

    Barry,

    I had the same problem. I don't know how I started this change because I had not made any changes to my system for awhile. After some extensive research, I found that these fonts are stored in the fm5font.ttf font file.

    To solve my problem, I navigated to the directory C:\Program Files (x 86) \Adobe\AdobeFrameMaker11\fminit scrolled down until I found the fm5font.ttf file. I have a right click and don't 'Install' option.

    Once installed, I opened FrameMaker and everything was back to normal.

    I hope this helps.

    The question is because your attempt to locations var is actually a string, not a table that is needed to treat a Geolocation. That's why you get 150 thousand alert messages trying to loop through each element of array and process geolocation, but since your var is a string, it is a loop in the length of the string, which is equivalent to 150 thousand characters. The solution is to build a picture of your DB rather than build a chain. Essentially when you query your DB create an empty array, then when you dynamically loop results from your DB to get the data use the array.push method javascript (or the equivalent php if you treat the results of DB in php) to push loop iteration in a new array element. You must also use a console.log instead of an alert message you don't need to close each message alert and essentially freeze your application being debugged.

    OVER_QUERY_LIMIT is because you're trying to send too many requests of geolocation (see 150 thousand above), who is strangled by Google. So he tries not to geotag a location that already has a location recorded in the comic book, you should be storing the result of geolocation in your database. Also I don't really know why you create a var, try storing in localstorage, then immediately retreiveing data storage local to continue the process of your markers. It seems unnecessary to do so, unless you store in the local storage for another reason. For debugging, the issue of marker, it is best to remove any factor the localstorage useless until make you it work with your markers and then refactor your localstorage logic in the script after that a Lite version works.

  • How the clip markers can be promoted in chronological markers?  I cut a clip and rearranged the order of the pieces in the timeline panel, so now I want a set of benchmarks that reflect their position in the timeline panel.

    Clip markers have as their frame of reference of the timeline, they came.  If you create a new brand of element in a new timeline, the marker in time is measured from his original script, not the new timeline where he is.  Currently in CC 2015 organization there is no way to translate the clip marker references 'Local' in the 'World calendar"in which they now live.  I captured on video a 8mm film that is chronologically jumble of short scenes.  I placed the chronology of chapter for each scene markers, export the list of markers and finally understood the rearrangement of pieces of scenes he needed to put everything in chronological order.  Thank God for the ability to export the list of markers, just as I needed!  So the whole sequence has 85 chronological markers, dividing the sequence into 5 pieces and rearranging puts them all in chronological order.  Obviously, I don't want to have to restore the scene boundries 85 times, I did as a necessary step to solve the puzzle.  I think you might meet one day some of these problems:

    1. the most obvious thing is located in the calendar for a piece, lift it and 'paste insert' where it belongs on the timeline.  Problem: Lift or excerpt from don't lift or extract chronological markers with it, so when "Insert you a block", the piece inserted in the timeline has lost its bearings, they were left.

    2. How about you make a sous-suite of the segment to move?  Yes, it carries all the tracks, but not the chronological markers whence he came.

    3. ok, I'll export the calendar together with chronological markers and reimport - ah, Yes, success, the chronology of the markers are now item, marks on the imported clip (the entire chronology).  That's great, because the clip markers are sticky with the clip, I can it chop, rearrange to put markers in chronological order without returning any info title marker.  Feeling beat with the reorganization completed five segments of the original timeline, everything is in order, nothing was reinstated, the timeline with its clip of chapter markers is ready to export to still make the DVD!  Yes, you guessed it, element chapter marks are not exported in yet.  The chronology of imports still with a marker, Chapter 1, at the beginning.

    4. There must be a way, stacked the timeline with the time markers on it on the icon for "New"... ', it is the same as #3 above, but simpler.  Historical markers are now the clip markers that don't export in yet.

    From my experiences, it is therefore impossible to solve my problem without completely restoring scene boundries and type chapter titles.  There are two repositories coordinated, clip) 1 local and 2) global chronology; and there is no way to go from one to the other 'mass'.   There is the glove, I'm sure someone has a way to do this without returning the title of chapter 85 markers.

    I have not found an automatic way to do this, but here is an efficient manual method that requires no titles of chapters Overtype.

    Either drop your timeline that has mounted the icon "Create New" brands, or export the timeline and import it back.  You now have a new timeline and markers are now on the video clip.  Now, chop and reorganize this video clip, it is in the best new order, and the clip markers stick with the sections of the clamp.  Now this procedure migrates the markers of the clips to the timeline (promotion):

    Start at the beginning of the timeline, select the video clip. (The video clip must be selected for M to open the marker editing window)

    1. type change M to find the first element brand, type M to open the editing window of clip marker, select the marker title and copy (control-C), hit Cancel

    2 hit the icon of reference in the program monitor pane, which puts a green marker on the timeline at the same time as the brand of element,

    3. double-click on the Green marker, paste the title of marker by control V, select the radio button of chapter markers, click OK.

    Repeat steps 1-3 to promote all the markers of clip of historical markers with the same marker titles.  Since we cut the timeline to reorganize, there are several video clips.  As you progress, make sure that the clip that you are working on is selected, otherwise M will not open the editing window, instead, it will place a chronological marker.  In short, follow this procedure exactly, it works.  It's a stupid job, but it does the job with without having to retype marker titles.  The chronology chapter titles now think time on the new timeline and they will export in yet.  Hope someone finds it useful at some point in the future.

    Perhaps team first see the usefulness of this and add a command 'Promote the clip for mounting marks markers' and "retrograde chronological markers for the clip markers" (conservation type, title and comments).  It would be a powerful addition.

  • How to restore the adjustment brush markers

    I have done something to remove the markers of points normally placed on the application of any adjustments with the adjustment brush. Now if I want to go back and change a previously set, the ability to go to the dot, click on it, then change is not available. How can I get the brush to start marking these points?

    Hi JohnnyPhoto,

    Please press the 'H' key on the keyboard and you should be able to see the markers.

    Kind regards
