Hello again,
Thought I would let you know that I've finally sorted this! :)
In another forum I read a post from someone who had a similar problem and solved it by uninstalling the "failures" updated, restart the PC and then re-run the update. It worked! It had not occurred to me to try what I've assumed that 'impossible' meant that they had not installed at all, not that they didn't had simply not installed correctly and must have become corrupt.
I hope this will help someone else who has the same problem, I've had!
Best wishes

Install updates and then comes back to taking them out!
Operating system is Vista Premium: cannot install KB2539636, 2567680,2536276,2562937,905866,2559049,2563227,2539633,2556532,2539636 and 2563894. Some of them say: the version of Windows, I installed it, does not match updates, I'm trying to install Windows Update sent to me - and some of them say: sales of products and say a few: does not exist! I hesitate to call PC security because they have in the past caused my laptop to reboot continuously. They claimed they had reset all updates and it will take about 24 hours for the re - install. Well, after three days of constant restarts, I stopped which by inserting my CD of the operating system by clicking on repair! Someone at - it answers... My system is: Windows Vista Premium 32-bit!

Windows XP Service Pack 2 is installed correctly, and then on reboot I get a blue error screen or green.
The only way that I could finally restart, was safe and then I restored to before I installed SP2.
WinXP SP2 must have been installed more than four years ago.
If you haven't installed SP2, you could not possibly have a functional application of the antivirus installed so see...

I've been struggling for weeks to try to get my computer Windows 7 update to Windows 8.1. It is not interesting to go in full history frustrating because I gave the update and now I just try to start over again. The recent measures and current situation is as follows:
1 PC is powerful enough with i7 and 16 GB chip.
2. new SSD this week.
2. freshly downloaded Windows 8 Pro ISO burned to a DVD and checked.
3 Ran install successfully and signed using my Microsoft Account.
4 tried Windows Store for Windows 8.1, but said I need updates.
4 Ran Windows Update in Control Panel.
5. Windows update found 127 updates and they failed with error code 80248007.
I don't understand how I can get these failures with a new facility.
Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thank you all in advance!
Hello
Glad you got it going... If I had to guess, it was very likely updates .net 3.5, which has caused the problem... or maybe, Net 4.5...
They require a process runs to complete their installation that seems to start running in the middle of updates remaining to try to install...
