Start photo Login

When I got my MacBook Pro w/retina a few days ago, the login screen was a picture of a nest with small blue eggs and I had to put my username and password.

When I upgraded to El Capitan, the picture of nest + eggs isn't here, and you can see my desktop remotely through a mist. I still need user name and password.

If I go to system preferences > password, the image is there with my username. There is nothing in the connection tab.

How can I get this back to the way it was please?

Try resetting the NVRAM/PRAM memory.

How can I change my PC start up login information so that it will automatically connect to my Microsoft online account?

I would like to be able to set up my startup of Windows 7 on my PC, as it relates to my Microsoft online account. My startup password when I turn on my computer first would be the same PW that I use for my Outlook and other activities online. I hope that this would help sign me in the 'cloud' and take advantage of some of the features available in Office 2013, recently downloaded automatically.

Thanks for the replies! Detail is appreciated.

  • Start photos

I have two devices connected to an iMAC when starting it upward. Photos always comes to the top. How can I stop pictures to come at startup? I click the icon when it opens and appears on the small box at the bottom and the 'options' 'open the connection' are NOT checked.

When you stop it, it's the box for start as it has been verified?

  • When I start Photos 1.3 nothing happens.

The Photos 1.3 app opens quickly, and I don't get a menu bar. But it is not a window of Photos, or do anything else.

Holding Option to try to open a library replacement does not work - and I use this option frequently... it works normally.

Option + command to rebuild a library (which I've never tried it before) to hold anything also.

I tried to restore an older version of pictures of Time Machine, but I get the error "Pictures is required for OS X, so cannot be changed in any way.".

    A scary and unsatisfying error.

I'm sitting here dead end on what to do to get all my photos now. I have three large comprehensive libraries and apparently no way to move forward.

When pictures is launched, it seeks the old iPhoto Library, then begins the long process of migration the new photo library images. Since you said that you have iPhotos several libraries, I guess that Photos have not moved anything and just create an empty library file.

Please check your users > your name > images folder. If you see a .photoslibrary file, move it to the trash (do not drain immediately). Now the Option Launch Photos and select the library that you want to migrate from iPhoto. Migration is a very slow process - give it time.

Be aware that Photos cannot merge several libraries. Several libraries are problematic if you plan to use iCloud photo library functionality and are therefore referenced libraries.

  • Windows xp sp3 delay at the start after login

I have a windows xp sp3 with 2 GB of RAM and 250 GB HDD to 45-50minutes to load after I entered my user name and password.

Please, how can I solve this problem. I checked the hard drive for errors, and the system will load faster on e-safe. Mode
    Concerning
    DOE

To connect to your computer, there are a lot of programs, processes and services launch. It is likely that one or more of these processes contributes to your delay. The first criterion would be starting for a minimum system. This is what we call 'Safe Mode'. When you start your computer, several times, press the F8 key until a black and white screen comes up, and then select "safe mode" or "safe mode with networking" with the arrow keys and starts. If your computer starts up fairly quickly, then we the non-critical elements that contribute.

To debug this, you use a program that will show you all the programs that start at startup and allow you to temporarily cut some of them to determine what (s) is / are the cause of the problem. Microsoft has a built-in program called "msconfig" or you can download another program called "autoruns" from Microsoft
    Autoruns: <> http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinternals/bb963902.aspx >

Instructions for the startup and use of msconfig are contained in this article:

When you find what's causing your problem, the action is usually obvious. Sometimes UN-installing and reinstalling is all you need to do.

  • Start-up/login problem. Vista starts by the boot sequence then cursor and black screen appears but nothing else.

My laptop recently locked up when running a DVD rip, I waited an hour or so to see if he would respond, but he didn't, so I turned off the laptop by holding the power button down. I restarted the computer and it loaded correctly to the logon screen and allowed me to log in as usual. Once the computer was connected, I noticed that the sidebar was not loading, and when I click on what whether the locked computer.

To try to remedy this I tried to start the PC in safe mode to perform a restore could noticed that I had not created restore points. I then tried to fill a start last known good config upward, it did not work. Then, I tried a CHKDSK/r procedure at startup. It worked fine until step 3 of 5, on which he seems to hang, I left it overnight and it was still on the same stage. So I have powerd off the PC and tried to start. But now, the PC is delivered to the black screen and the cursor as shown above.

When you are looking for through other Forums a cause of this problem appears to be to do with the permissions of the user being changed by the chkdsk does not complete, however I don't see how to fix this through the command prompt.

As noted, I can access command prompt on the recovery disk. Any help or suggestions are greatly appreciated.

You already did a great job of troubleshooting - exactly what I would have recommended here if you had not already tried. Play well! Here is one that you did not and I would start one you tried (because I feel that it is perhaps the root of the problem.

Go to start / all programs / accessories / command prompt, right click command prompt and click Run as administrator (you can skip this step if you are using the disk).

If you use the drive, cd to C:\Windows\System32. Type sfc/scannow, go and let it run. It will scan and try to correct some of your system files. If all goes well he comes complete with no corruption, it could not repair (if it has these post of corruption here or try to analyze it to find the problem or files using http://support.microsoft.com/kb/928228. Try to put all the corrupt files here so that we can see if they can be repaired with good copies of the installation disc (unless there are too many).

While in the command prompt, type chkdsk /f /r and enter and let it run. She might want to plan itself to run at the next reboot (but I don't think that will happen if launched from the disk). If so, answer Yes and restart to run the program. It will scan and attempt to resolve any corruption or bad sectors on your hard drive and remove especially as a potential cause. I know you tried this before, but we'll try again by using a slightly different command and see if it works this time.

I hope this helps. If this isn't the case, then we should try to reinstall the system (backup first) as only option short taking in a computer repair shop. But we'll see what happens with the first above.

    Good luck!

  • How to start viClient & Login when Windows starts

Actually it's maybe a stupid question but for some less techie or low-level administrators, this can be useful in some situations.

Especially if we need help from other admins, but do not want to release our passwords.

I have a job I have run 2 x viClient for the PRD VMware vCenter VDI VIew VMware vCenter respectively.

    -Click the shortcut of viClient

-Choose the vCenter in menu drop-down (or type it in)

-Enter the ID user & PW (I normally use Windows logon credentials)

Is it possible to automatically open a session:

    1. start the viClient for the PRD VMware vCenter when workstations Win7 boot?

    2. run the viClient at the sight of VMware vCenter when workstations Win7 boot?

    3. start the viClient for the VirtualCenter of VMware RDP via a shortcut or a batch file?

    4. start the viClient for the VMware View VirtualCenter via a shortcut or a batch file?

Try to change the properties of the shortcut to

    "C:\Program Files (x 86) \VMware\Infrastructure\Virtual Infrastructure Client\Launcher\VpxClient.exe" s u user_name Pei Secret Server

    or

    "C:\Program Files (x 86) \VMware\Infrastructure\Virtual Infrastructure Client\Launcher\VpxClient.exe" s server - passthroughAuth

    If you use Windows authentication.

Don't have not tried, but if you want the client autostart, it might work if you add shortcuts to the startup folder.

  • Essbase + planning Quick Start and login to the Management Server

I'm totally new in & Essbase, my only experience in Business Intelligence BusinessObjects Reporting/Administration and OracleBI/Oracle Data Integrator. My company is planning to create a project using Essbase and planning. I create in very little time showing some demo planning capabilities of this platform, then learn more about this technology. I have installation EMP + Essbase, Planning, and then cross EPM System Configurator. Now I need to create the new application, I guess, but I have the problem with the addition of Administration Server. After typing the host and server port response message back running. But I can not authenticate with the credentials of the administrator... I put the username and pass set up in the Essbase Administration Services of EPM System Configurator window, but I get the message:

  • Login Z30 photo blackBerry

I have install "photo login" and it worked several times. There is, then, no. It is no longer opens. After five failed attempts the program amounted to a password of alpanumeic, but I don't think I put a.

Q I had to set an alphanumeric password to use a 'password photo?"

I am on try 9 of 10 until the device is deleted. I tried the PIN 4 digit I know I put. I tried my other 3 or 4 current passwords. Nothing.

I guess that's an academic question. If I had to define an alphanumeric password to configure the picture password, then I'm just not enter the password correctly and it's erased. If the picture password is somehow altered his ' need to be cleaned anyway.

  • Cannot install Sierra because updating Photos at a standstill

Apparently, the new Sierra OS included an update of Photos. Started Photos updated first, it worked for ~ 30hours 'building a library '. Tried to complete installation of Sierra, which requires a reboot - of course all Apps must close to restart, pictures will not close because the library construction! But now the small progress whirly ball is not swirling and there is no options in the Photos menu-all gray, Photos Version 1.0.1 (215.65.0). I'm afraid force quit closing snack takes pictures of my 16000 images with it. Have they the time machine upwards.

Should I force Quits Photos and install the Sierra, then restart photos or is there something else to do?

I'm confused by the title of your topic, then the body of your message. Did you install Sierra? Or are you trying to rebuild your current photo library with your current Photos app before moving on to the Sierra? Photo is part of the upgrade of the Sierra and cannot prevent the installation of Sierra.

What is your library? If it is very large that this moment may be offline. It is small and because you have a TM backup go and force quit Photos.

Where is your library? If it's on an external hard drive that is how HD formatted and connected to your Mac?

  • Photos lost track of the original images

I bought Aperture (my equivalent in local currency of 299 USD), then after that Apple stopped supporting the opening, I migrated to Apple pictures. Just today, I found that more than 500 photos imported from April 2016 are now show as zero KB in the Inspector. The original seem inaccessible to the Photos. The editing mode does not come when I click on 'Edit' and when I zoom to 100%, the image is rasterized. I cannot determine the cause of this, but managed to find the original images on my drive, in the files managed by the pictures, and themselves do not appear to be corrupt. It seems that the pictures or its metadata the library software is broken. I tried to restart my Mac and the repair of the library three times (starting Photos while pressing the cmd and alt keys). That did not work. Please can you help me?

In Photos preferences you have unchecked the preference for 'copy items imported to the photo library' (library management and the default and very highly recommended) or you have disabled this preference (a referenced library and strongly discouraged)

How you import these photos and what? What format are they?
