  Hello

  I just bought Portege M400 with XP tablet on it.
  I've updated with SP3 and all updates of relevnt Ms.

  I tried to use crosswords in ink and ink desktop and they do not start.
  If I try "Explores the experience pack" then the option screen comes up but when you click on start programs above, you hear the click but nothing happens.

  It is interesting to snipping tool 2 does not work!

  I downloaded the MS pack and reinstalled it but still not good.

  Any ideas anyone?

  Some infections of virus/malware will hide all files and shortcuts on your computer. To make your files visible again, download display on your desktop.

• Elements of mystery on Start > programs list?

  Hello!  I recently made a re-format/reinstall of Windows XP.  Hundreds of updates, but think that I've finally got all.

  My question is: on my start > programs list... I have 2 items that I have no idea what they are, where they come from, if I need them, if I can delete them or anything on them!

  The two points are: foxuser.dbf and foxuser.fpt, they show an "unknown file" icon and asks what program I want to use to open.  I don't know where they came, and if I need them.

  Is someone can you please tell me what they are?  Do I need?  How can I get them off my list of program.

  These are files used by Microsoft Visual FoxPro.  If you have not installed then maybe you have a program that uses them.  Without knowing everything that you installed it it is difficult to say who he is and take them off can cause a program (s) do not work. --

  To change your Outlook desktop shortcut to start - all programs, do the following:

  1. right click (or Ctrl + X) for desktop Outlook shortcut and select cut .

  Once the software is installed, it will not be removed under normal circumstances.

  I do not know if your computer is still infected and it is removed or the problem is that you can't 'see' photoshop' but it is always installed.

  to verify this, check the installation directory and check its size on your hard drive.

  You won't be able to re - install using the discs and the number of series that you used initially, but we have a solution.

  The activation for more server CS2 is no longer in service. For this reason, we did a version of these titles of software available that doesn't require activation.   I was using Firefox 4.0.1 - informed 'precarious version' but my security suite and my password program would not work 7.0.1 new w... He said that they would be incorporated when available, so I thought that upgrade to 7.0.1 was the right thing to do.
  Now Firefox will not even start.
  Can I download a version 3.0 instead?
  Can I safely use 4.0.1 and the re - download?

  Problem:
  When I start a program (for example. Sonos controller) on my laptop my mouse pointer stops working. It does not happen with all programs! When I go into Device Manager, my synaptic touchpad and my hid mouse is working also. When I press ctrl - alt - del, the pointer can move again, but when I come back it stops again. I have a work around is not a solution

  When I disconnect my windows account and log in again, it will solve the problem. When I start a program again the pointer will freeze up again.
  I did a complete system of virusscan and a pre start virusscan and my laptop is virus-free.
  I uninstalled the mouse and in drivers reinstalled synaptics them but that has not worked. I added a new account windows but that did not work.
  By pressing the keycombo FN + F9 has no effect.

  This problem happens using the touchpad only or have you noticed the freezing of cursor using the external USB mouse too?

  What is the notebooks touchpad works properly without loading and using this 3rd party software?
  For example, work the touchpad with Microsoft office (Word, Excel, etc.) or navigation in internet by using IE or Chrome?

  My guess is that the pre-installed 3rd application part could affect the functionality of the touchpad.

(I.e. a double-click on a Word document starts Word and opens this document.) In addition, what happens if my program is already running? No doubt, Windows sends a message to the programs telling them that the user has requested to open a file of the appropriate type.

  Windows passes the name of the file you clicked on the application as a command line parameter: the attached program lists simply all the command line arguments received in order to check how it works. I did a few tests by creating a '. '. XYZ"file and then associate this program with it. Then, I created a new operation 'Print', defined in this way:

  

  and received the correct settings, I simply double click on the file and when I click right on it and choose 'print '.

  (Note: argv [0] is always the name of the program itself: command line options, if any, starts at index 1).

  I can't say anything about your second question: I know that the CVI has a way to see if another instance of the application is running (see the CheckForDuplicateAppInstance command in the utility library), but I don't know how it is implemented.

  Everytime I open a program, it appears in the start menu "below" of the line. Even if I went to the start menu, click Customize and set the number of programs on the start menu to 5 (programs 'above' the line), the other programs that are already listed nit are themselves list automatically.
