Start: rebuild the Metadata Cache

Dell Inspiron 14z (Service tag S/N: maintain the label removed by privacy policy >) a few months, a Windows 8.

Was trying to load a Charter .net antivirus software ISP; has been invited to remove the antivirus that came with the Inspiron 14z.

In this process, the laptop apparently locked and was turned off after 30 minutes.

Now when I switch on I get Dell Logo, after a few seconds

I get a blue screen with "your PC encountered a problem and needs to restart...". »

Then, I get a black screen with the DELL LOGO and the lines:

"The operating system has not stopped cleanly.

Rebuild the metadata cache

Please do not interrupt this process

Reading packaged metadata in memory DONE

Create the segment/pair 100% index

Total number of pairs segment/index 2244608

etc.

First time I left this race for 5 hours, finally I stopped him.

Whenever I put under tension, now this is the case.

Help, please.

Best regards

Ed

Hi, DELL - ZOHAIB R, I'm having the same problem so I followed your direction and found no problem, even with extensive testing. Still getting the same screen everytime I turn on. Any other suggestions?

Thank you...

    Hello

Please go to the save location of the Lightroom Catalog and here please delete the Lightroom Catalog Previews.lrdata folder.

Now please open Lightroom and check if it works.

Please let us know if it helps.

In the same folder that your catalog file is stored in, there is a subfolder whose name ends with Previews.LRDATA. Delete this subfolder whose name ends with Previews.LRDATA. Do not remove anything else.

Can I get an explanation of what past?

You must remove the preview Cache.

It is located in the same folder as the catalog in Lightroom. The name of the cache an extract ends with Previews.LRDATA and should be deleted. Not to be confused with *. LRCAT, which should not be deleted.

  • Service SQL Server 2014 will not start start after the update sp1 (KB3058865, KB3075950, KB3094221)

Hi, my SQL Server 2014 works very well in my server with WIndows 2012 until I installed the new day & service pack that was required for server hardening.

I successfully installed SP1 KB 3058865 first, then discovered that the services do not start. After so much research to fix, I came with the 2 cu updates KB3075950, KB3094221 in knowing that it could solve my problem but unfortunately is not.

I also tried to change the service account that many suggest, but his does not work.

I tried to replace the master file & maslog but also failed.

I tried to run etc and unique usermode and restore master db... also failed.

  • How to rebuild the Windows Media Player library

Cleaning of my media player library? __

If the instructions on the Windows 7 website do not work then what other options are available to remove it completely and start over with a new library in Media player 12 version?

    Hi corrlines,

    1. What is the exact problem you have with Windows media player?

You can't start over with the new library in Windows media player, but you can delete the database of Windows Media Player. To do this, follow these steps:

    (a) output Windows Media Player.

    (b) click Start, run, type %LOCALAPPDATA%\Microsoft\Media Player, and then click OK.

(c), select all the files in the folder and then click on Delete on the file menu.

Note: you don't have to remove the folders that are in this folder.

    (d) restart Windows Media Player.

Note Windows Media Player automatically rebuilds the database.

If the above does not solve your problem then clear cache of database of Windows Media Player files. To do this, follow these steps:

    (a) output Windows Media Player.

    (b) click Start, click Run, type % LOCALAPPDATA%\Microsoft, and then click OK.

    (c) select the folder Media Player and then click on Delete on the file menu.

    (d) restart Windows Media Player.

  • How to synchronize the metadata of LR to bridge

Hello. I have W7 64 bit, CS5 with ACR6.1 and LR 2.7. My Leica camera capturing in DNG natively. I use "Convert to DNG" import in order to take advantage of the lossless compression. I understand that the XMP sidecar files are not applicable and that the metadata is written into the header DNG. It's good for me, it should ensure that the metadata is always with my DNG, but I'm not sure how it affects the validity of any instructions, I found so far.

Currently I use ACR and LR to develop files to take advantage of the new features and treatment until I can get LR3.

I want to synchronize the development parameters. I learned to updated the metadata of files developed in ACR6.1 when I open them in LR2.7 but I can not work, how do the LR develop visible settings when I open the files in Bridge.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I was unable to find the information in the forums or help so far.

I'm also not sure if this is the best forum to post this, but he did not cross the. If I am better publish it on another forum, please excuse me and suggestions would be welcome.

If you want a set folder to update faster, go to tools/cache/purge cache for folder xxx.  Let the inch rebuild foremost (in corner he'S spinning arrow).

  • Browser launch a call with the active cache

We did a simple Web site, with a simple link to site.com/logout url.

When I turn off the cache of the browser the request starts and ends without any problem.

When I activate the browser cache demand begins to site.com/logout page is updated with a 302 code (I don't have 302 redirections in the Web site) and I am unable to connect to the application by the developers of the browser tools.

Chrome all works well, just to Firefox if the cache is enabled, it launches the GET request to site.com/logout

    How can it be possible?

You can check the HTTP response with the Live Http Headers extension headers
