You could display something in your application and view the contents of the zip file and control the destination of each file (make your own unzip the Viewer).

  I am answering my own question. I learned that if you right-click while trying to open a PDF file, you will be asked which application you want to use to open the file. If you click read the information, instead of choosing an application, you get this great information box that gives you the ability to set Adobe Reader in your default application for PDF files. It lets you change all the pdf files, you already have the Adobe files. Yay.

  A few moments ago I had to do a restore of the system for some reason forgotten but restoring interrupted when the power off when I tried to restart it gave me a chioce of such boot options that start normally start SafeMode etc... but when I choose one of them it is said that the PSHED.dll file is missing or currput so I put in my drive repair/install and reboot, but after the white bar has loaded and the green bar loads, it gives me a blue screen error with the info tech being 0x0000C1F5 and the rest are zero

  I have a gateway with windows Home premium 32-bit model and more recent material I instaled a grapics card xfx 9800gt nvidia and a new mouse, any help would be appreciated thanks

  Here is an example of the properties of one of my .dll files: c:\windows\system32\microsoft.ManagementConsole.dll - file Type: unknown Application - opens with: unknown Application - (if I try to open it, it asks me to choose in my list, or search the Web for an application)

  My problem is, I don't know what the hell I do! Laughing out loud. I don't even know now why I even noticed it.  Anyway, I guess my question is 1) should I I even try to choose an application to open .dll files, or is it a security setting, so I won't be able to open the files that I have no business opening? (2) my properties should apply real knon, instead of saying we don't know? How do I find a list of file names that tell you what you should choose to open different applications or extensions?

  I appreciate all help. I fear I can screw up my laptop and I'm on League when it comes to such things.

  What you see, it's normal.  It is not possible for a user to directly open a .dll (Dynamic Link Library) file.   The file contains functions that can use other programs, but it cannot open or run by itself.

• Calendar "forgets" to launch the file/application

  I'm having a problem getting calendar to start an application or open a file at a specific time. I get the message pop up at the right time, but the soft launches ever.

  Specifically, I have the cTivo app which allows me to transfer recorded shows to my Tivo Roamio on my Mac. I am planning the application runs, late at night when no one is watching the TV, so the load on the wifi and the Tivo won't then, we look at the TV.

  I selects a date and time, then click on the "Alert" menu and select "Customize...". "In the pop up window that follows, I select"Open a file"and then in the following menu, I choose 'other '.... "and get a choose file dialog box. I choose the application, then select "at the time of the event." When the date / time specified arrives, I get a message, but the application ever starts.

  Anyone can verify this behavior? Does anyone have a workaround or a solution?

  I have a piece of code that dates back to the time of LabVIEW 7.1 who should write an ascii text file to a server once every 30 minutes.  Each half hour file is the previously published, to which is added another 30 minutes of data and 4 contains more data than does three 30 minutes so I iterate through a file number, 2, 3, 4, etc. and so on...  I write each new file I attempt to remove his predesessor such that in an ideal case there is only a single file sitting there at all times...  However, I want people to be able to open files on this server remotely any time they want to... In LabVIEW 7.1, if I tried to delete a file that was already open, it did NOT generate a stop error show but just went...  I could manually later then go start the file here or there that someone would open during the attempt to delete was made...

  But now I'm running in LabVIEW 2011 there is no the same luxury...  If I try to delete a file that is already open, the code generates an error and wait...  It is bad because nobody is there to answer...  I read another post on the search to see if the temporary files exist, but I don't know exactly what to look for so that people can use one of a slew of programs, reading from Excel to Matlab to WordPad to open these ascii text files...  Surely, there must be an attribute of a file that I can watch that will tell me it is currently open and if so, I can just ignore this deletion and move...

  Most likely, you are running in wiich auto error handling is enabled by default in new versions of LabVIEW (it did not exist in older versions). Whenever a function returns an error, but the error is not wired, it will appear an error message.

  Make sure that you manage the error in not leaving the error disconnected. (for example just Ingore by wiring up to a limit of structure) so it appears an automatic error dialog box.

  After some research and testing, I finally solved the problem. I did the following:

  I deleted the text value from my memory of java in the java Control Panel of windows,

  I deleted the 4.1.1. C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\datamodeler\4.1.1 carpet

  I changed the memory to-Xmx2048m in datamodeler.conf in the datamodeler\datamodeler\bin folder

  then tried to start the Data Modeler but never value began, then reduced to-Xmx1024m and he began

  I checked the Objects.local file and it's there. then I closed the design without saving changes and ended Datamodeler application.

  Then I opened the Objects.local with Notepad ++ and I found and structure XML and the data that I wrote in my family business contact section has disappeared from the design

  Acrobat Reader DC has been defined as the once its installed default PDF Viewer, this is a behavior of design. However, you can change the default program, open Acrobat, navigate to the Edit-> Preferences-> General-> click "set as my default pdf reader.

  Click OK to confirm the changes.

• Problem starting the Windows Media Player Media files

  I am using windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit on HP Probook 4530 s. These days, whenever I play any MP3, MP4 or any other media in windows media, the WMP player file starts the file, but the controls as start or pause button, volume control and screen WMP resized tool (arrows) crashes or jams for a few seconds and after the sound of "Gurk" (from the hard drive or dvd rom or I don't know where he's from) the control becomes normal.   Shalini thanks for noticing my question about WMP. But, before your response, I was able to solve this problem by myself.
  I used the clean windows troubleshooting tool for WMP and the detected problem was on the settings by default, but convenience store could not apply these settings.
  Later, I ran the tool troubleshooting in safe mode and the Troubleshoot utility managed to apply the default settings and the problem was solved.

• Windows XP does not have the files?

  I had security 2012 Windows XP on the computer.  I was finally able to remove the files, but now windows does all the files.

  I can't launch the restoration or downloaded files.  I can't even open word or outlook.

  If you don't get this error message, please provide more information: what happens when you try to run an executable?  What version of Windows XP, including the service pack is installed?  What antivirus application is installed, and when their subscription expire?  You allowed your protection lapse antivirus for any period of time?
