I want something to make me pass stereo audio using the Bluetooth radio already in my laptop.

I bought a pair of headsets Plantronics BackBeat go.   They could combine with the laptop, but then in the next step, Windows (7 Home Premium) Impossible to install the appropriate drivers.  I went through all the suggested windows troubleshooting nothing helps.  I called Plantronics technical support.  I was told that I would need to buy an additional USB adapter at home, so I send you the earbuds back.

I asked Dell sales support they recommend, but the only thing they could find available from Dell needed an extra USB adapter too.  In addition, it is mono.

I really want to commit something that won't require a USB port for an adapter since the computer already has the Bluetooth hardware.  Ideally I'd like a small dongle that allowed the use of speakers, headphones or earphones.  Otherwise, I would consider dedicated Bluetooth headset or headphones.

I'm not interested in the device with a microphone or telephone control, but if that's what it takes to get other features I want, I would consider it.

Anyone succeeded with this question?  What works?

I solved my problem audio Bluetooth!

My laptop Dell L502x supplied with Windows 7.  But Windows 7 has no native support for Bluetooth (a2dp) profile for the use of stereo headphones.  The helmet would pair with the laptop, but wouldn't connect.

    I found these helpful instructions

    http://answers.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows/Forum/Windows_7-hardware/how-to-pairconnect-Bluetooth-audio-device-to/fb49798d-9fb5-451F-95FC-301f8f76942b

After checking the Windows Update and the Dell support site pilot for new drivers, I finally had to resort to the manufacturer's website.  Because the laptop has an Intel 6230 chip, I used the Intel driver update utility to

    https://Downloadcenter.Intel.com/default.aspx?lang=eng

who finds these two updates relevant for me.

Drivers for Windows 7 and Intel® PROSet/Wireless Software

    and

    Software Intel® PROSet/Wireless technology Bluetooth® for Windows 7 *.

    http://www.Dell.com/support/troubleshooting/us/en/19/KCS/KcsArticles/ArticleView?c=us&l=en&s=DHS&docid=268873

I chose first to run Wireless_16.7.0_s64.exe.  After then running BT_3.1.1311_s64.exe and restarting, I accompanied my headphones to the computer and was finally able to connect.

It's a shame that Microsoft does not include a2dp with Windows 7.  I have an iPod touch and a winning machine 8 effortlessly connected to my helmet, since they have a2dp built in.

    Well, I'm just happy, there's a solution.

    Hope someone finds this useful,

I raved to google for the A2DP you have mentioned and tried different drivers until the first in the above link worked.
It has changed a little bit of my computers bluetooth interface and some new options have been allowed to re-pair all my bluetooth devices, tried to update the drivers from the Manager of devices (which worked), the uncontrolled service clubs and recontroler for my helmet, added three outgoing COM ports (don't even know what that hell they are) , and in all the fiasco that they finally work, remote control and all.
  • Œuvres of 'stereo' Bluetooth headset, but 'hands-free' is not

I can't connect my Plantronics 590 headset with my Win7 Home Premium SP1 system in hands-free mode.

Details: in the window "My Bluetooth" for this headset: (1) I push the Connect button next to the heading "calls of VoIP before handsfree.  (2) upwards in the header bar, it shows "status: connected, the Signal level: high", and down into the "hands-free" it the topic shows «Connecting to 00:19:7F:38:F0:79 hands-free...» ", but then (3) after 5-10 seconds it shows, at the top," status: paired ' and the section free hands, "the connection failed".

I can connect this headset in ' stereo '.  But of course the headset does nothing in this mode. Details: In the same window, (1) I press the connect button next to the title of "listening to music". (2) upwards in the header bar, as in the previous case, it shows "status: connected, the Signal level: high", and headed down under the "hands-free" he shows «connecting to 00:19:7F:38:F0:79 hands free...» ».  (3) in less than a second, it shows connected to 00:19:7F:38:F0:79 stereo Audio Device".

Another thing I notice is that when I push the button 'My Bluetooth settings' on the home window "My Bluetooth", nothing happens.

Let me add that this headset works very well (in both modes) on my other computer that is running Windows XP Pro SP3.  And I'm sure that it worked in hands-free mode on the Win 7 in the past - I have not tried to use it with the Win7 system for several months, until now.

I am pleased to announce a minor miracle that solved my problem.

Just after I posted this query, I got a little popup (Microsoft, I guess) that said, it did not have something wrong with my Bluetooth drivers and offers to replace them.  I followed the instructions.  I do not understand what this little gremlin has gone to fix things to the top.  But the main thing is that my Bluetooth hands-free headset working again!

Initially, I assumed that the timing of this popup was just a coincidence.  But upon reflection, it seems more likely that Windows was able to detect my repeated unsuccessful to connect my hands-free gadget and finally decided to take pity on me.

Anyway, anyone or whatever it was that I got up and running again, thanks!

  • Bluetooth headset | Impossible to re-pair the device after deletion

I have 2 fields, one for my wife and myself. I've matched with success the pre of my wife with a stereo bluetooth headset Altec Lansing/Plantronics Backbeat (new) (model BBT903/R). Then I tried to pair it with my pre but it wouldn't recognize it. I have read the help file for Bluetooth on the meadow and realized that I had to remove the association with the front woman first. The help instructions supposed to remove the device to PRE Bluetooth screen name (device name of point culminating right drag, click on delete). I did it on Pre my wife. I then tried to pair with my pre but had the same problem - the machine is not found. Tried again on my wife before and now it not pair either!

Now I'm stuck. The helmet is not recognized by a meadow. I tried to turn on/off BlueTooth. I tried to change the order in which I turned on devices (first helmet, second pre and vice versa). I tried the hard reset by removing the PRE battery and put it in. I would do the same for the helmet, but the battery is not removable/accessible.

With the Plantronics / helmets Altec Lansing, you must press the button so that it flashes Red and blue (and alternates)... the flashing blue means it's looking for a connection to a device with which it is already associated. Hope that helps.

  • What BT dongle to activate the microphone with Bluetooth headset?

    Hello

I recently bought a Bluetooth headset stereo with microphone so that I can use it to make calls from Skype (VoIP) through my Dell Inspiron laptop with factory Toshiba Bluetooth stack.

I could pair and connection between my laptop and the headset (Plantronics 590 A), but can not get the microphone to work. I spoke with the helmet provider who said the following:

If your computer has generated in Blue Tooth, it must support audio handsfree and A2DP profile. How you can find out is to go to start, programs, accessories, entertainment, select sound recorder, change, audio properties, and he has to say under sound, playback and sound recording or high quality BT or BT stereo if it's not you, it will take a dongle that supports the profiles of school boards.

Mine said 'wave of Toshiba Bluetooth".

They said that they could not recommend third party products. Therefore, I would be very grateful if someone could tell me what kind of Dongle that I need to solve this problem and ideally suggest where I could get one of (I'm in the United Kingdom). Thank you very much.

You should take a look at the following Web site. It should solve your problem:

  • Qosmio G20: How to disable/bypass SCMS-T for adiosyn with a bluetooth headset?

    Hello all,.

I recently bought a set of bluetooth stereo headphones (Creative CB2350) and found that, because of the inclusion of SCMS-T copyright protection I can't audiosync directly to my computer laptop bluetooth stack (Qosmio G20). The headphones come with an audio jack adapter (bluetooth transmitter), but it runs on a single AAA battery and cannot last more than an hour; So I need to connect without it.

Is there a way to disable or circumvent the requirement for protection by copyright SCMS-T in the last toshiba bluetooth stack? and if not why not? I paid a lot of money for my Qosmio and my helmet and I'm leaving furious inclusion deliberate software/firmware designed to keep me from using my material for legitimate purposes (i.e. what they were designed to do).

    Please help me,
    Lee ([email protected])

PS: Frankly I didn't really a problem with DRM technology before that, but now I can see how irritating and pointless DRM is. Compare the number of people using bluetooth devices for piracy (negligible) number of bluetooth headset that does not support the MAN - T (a lot if all my google searches are anything to go by) and see you how stupid the idea of DRM via bluetooth is really.
In my opinion not so humble large commercial companies like toshiba should woven converluted pap as SCMS-T as a matter of appeal; the final user does not want to spend several years download licenses and scouring the web only to find out access to his material is totally useless. (Sorry for the rant, but that's how I feel).

You're right, I completely agree with you.
The problem here probably that Toshiba is a little anxious summer continued in the music industry, if users use technology to copy copy-protected music.
I think that it should be possible to transfer the responsibility of the end user by some sort of agreement, that the user must confirm once by a mouse click during installation.

I already had a discussion with Toshiba customer service on this issue. They informed me that they reconsider this issue and try to find a solution for this. The odds are so good
that a future version of the BT-stack will be the ability to disable the GUY.

  • Jabra HALO Bluetooth headset

I just bought a JABRA HALO Bluetooth headset for audio because my audio port is broken, I have a targus bluetooth dongle.  When I connected it to my blackberry storm 2 audio sounds great, but when it is connected to the computer, it resembles _.  The manual says it takes A2DP for sound good, which is not available in this thing or what I need to make changes to my computer to make it sound better?

    Hello Brennan has,

    ·         You have installed the drivers for Jabra Bluetooth device on your computer?

Check if the headphone is compatible with Vista. You can follow the link below and check if your model of headphones is compatible with Vista:

    http://www.Microsoft.com/Windows/compatibility/Windows-Vista/

You can also consult www.Jabra.com of on the compatibility of the headset status. Here is a link I found for Jabra support:

    http://www.Jabra.com/sites/Jabra/na-us/headsetsupport/pages/JabraHALO.aspx

Here are the steps that I found on the site of Jabra to solve this problem:

Make sure that the device supports Bluetooth 1.1 or higher, including the Advanced Audio Distribution Profile (A2DP) for music streaming.

If the procedure above did not help, then it is possible that your phone is using the stereo audio connection in a different way. You can enable this mode on Jabra HALO by performing pairing in the following way:

1 remove the of Jabra HALO Bluetooth connection on your phone.

    2. make sure that the headset is turned on (not folded)

    3. press in and hold the answer / end button for more than 5 seconds until the two displayed icons are solid Orange Blue and solid

    4. go through the regular steps to pair the headset to a Bluetooth device.

    5. be aware that the latency time of the Jabra HALO can be lower when using this pairing.

Here are links that you can reference:

  • NC helmet will work on this bluetooth headset?

    SBH54 Bluetooth® stereo headset

Noice cancelling and the functions of these headphones:

    High resolution headphone Audio MDR-NC750

    work with the headset?

I'm afraid that you won't get with MDR-NC750 noise if you connect them to SBH54. They need to be connected to the phone or other device with a 5 pin socket and that supports noise.

To get similar noise with bluetooth, you need a bluetooth headset that has this feature. I have not tested it myself because they are not a Sony Mobile product but this headset has noise: http://www.sony.com/electronics/headband-headphones/mdr-zx770bn

  • Peripheral Bluetooth disconnects when "Bluetooth Headset operations and settings" window is closed

So when I connect my Bluetooth headset to my laptop I have at the same time press the 'connect' button on my headset * and * open the Bluetooth Headset operations and settings window, then click on 'Connect' on there also.

    So my first question is:

Why do I have to do a step totally superfluous alone time I want to connect my headset? It should be the case that once I've set up my headset with my laptop, it will automatically connect when I press the 'connect' button on my helmet. I wouldn't do more than that.

    My second question is:

Why my headphones does not cut off when I close the Bluetooth Headset operations and settings window?

It's the same problem that this guy has been seen two years ago:

    Hello Teedjay,

Thanks for posting your query on Microsoft Community forum.

I would be grateful if you can provide us with the following information to help us better understand the issue.

    1. Going to Headset/Bluetooth Headset before working on this computer?
    2. Have you tried another Bluetooth device on this computer? Has been the result even?
    3. Have you tried the steps suggested in the thread you mentioned in your post? If yes what was the result and that do not try these measures after the method 1.

Try the methods below and see if it works for you.

    Method 1:

Run the hardware and devices troubleshooter.

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/open-the-hardware-and-devices-Troubleshooter

    Method 2:

If the problem persists, try to refer to the procedure described in the following Microsoft article and see if it helps.

Add a Bluetooth device to your computer
    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/add-a-Bluetooth-enabled-device-to-your-computer

Connect to Bluetooth and other wireless or network devices

  • Stereo Bluetooth blackBerry Smartphones Plantronics Voyager 855 will not work with the curve 8330

    Greetings!

Finally got a blackberry case, it's the only thing sprint has that synchronizes with my mac.  I already love this phone in every way except one.

My plantronics headset travel stereo bluetooth (with a2dp and avrcp profiles that correspond to the phone) does not work when you listen to the music/tv/video. He worked very well with my motorola and samsung phones, so I don't want to give it up.  Plantronics tells me that the device should work with this phone model. The whole is described on crackberry as compatible.  I can have conversations on the headset in stereo, but no matter what settings I have change / disconnect the battery / re-pair of headphones I still can't make it work. Is there a setting I can change in the phone other than encryption that will solve this problem? Sprint could not help me.   I hope you can, so I do not get this phone.

    I appreciate any instructions

    Thank you

    far ahead... a soon!

Well, I love my blackberry even more now... In more recent versions of Pandora, Slacker, Radio Companion, etc., you can go into the options and select bluetooth or turn on bluetooth in the context menu.  This did not work very well in previous versions or did not even exist in Pandora.  I continued to try newer versions and now all three programs I tried to work reliable with bluetooth stereo.  So I left my blackberry on the other side of the gym until I realize he had disappeared and he has not yet cut.  Hoping soon too SprinTV updated!  Thank you for we hear on RIM HERE! AND still much faster than the iphone. Cheers!
