  I have two text boxes on two separate master pages, which I'm trying to join so that the text flows from the first to the second.

  I don't understand. I'm just trying to connect a text box on the "First" page to page "environment".

  (There are four master pages in this document - right (which is not used), beginning, middle and end).

  Can anyone enlighten me on what I'm doing wrong please?

  Try using Format > customize page layout and orders of disconnection to ensure that existing images are disconnected before trying the new connections.

  If you want just the stream to be first > Middle > end, why not let only their auto-connect and use the Master Page mapping to make sure that the content call the desired page layout?

• Paste the image into the text stream

  In the past, my understanding is that you need to copy your image to the Clipboard, place your cursor about to insert and then when you paste, your image will be placed there in the text as part of your text... but you have to drag the image down, so it is not to overlay text above it , and then add a bunch of CRs to move the text that should be on the bottom, so it moves down below.   The back that has the chart must have Auto leading. It's the only time wherever I use it. If you have, say, 11/13, then your image has 13 points to display.

  I could make this work in CS6 (and I would consider another version that allows to drag the anchored object rather than cut and paste). Now the SHIFT key and dragging the blue handle in the main story, I could anchor the table of contents, and when the text cursor was in it I could update. Make sure you anchor in a separate paragraph that uses a style that is NOT included in the table of contents, or he'll start on update.

  I have a stream of text (text) I want to decorate. For example, I would like to add special background and border.

  Events which can lead to a new composition/rendering are resize window or the text itself changes flow so whenever such events happen I would like to be informed once everything is displayed again, and then do my decoration on top of the text.

  Currently I listen to 'UPDATE_COMPLETE' for the Web that holds the Sprite with the text but I noticed that in some cases on this event when I call textFlow.flowComposer.isDamaged (textFlow.textLength - 1), that it returns true.

  I guess that's a way of knowing if everything is composed and displayed and it seems that sometimes he is not so probably I should use something else.

  The updateComplete event is sent when the container has been updated. It must always be true when you get updateComplete that the text in the container is composed and displayed. If some text is in flux that does not fit in the container, this other text can be not composed or posted. This can happen, for example, if the text is too big to enter the container and some has been scrolled beyond the ousi container which has been updated was not the last container in the flow.

  I have a user who has a work computer which he created his account staff iCloud to receive messages.  After realizing that he did not want his personal text on his work computer messages, he signed his personal account on the computer.  He continues to receive messages on the computer in iMessage.  How can I disabled it its text to be sent to his computer?  On his phone, I don't see on the phone how to disable message forwarding.

  have you checked the settings and Messages on the iPhone? There should be an SMS transfer entry or similar (I have a German iPhone at hand only ;-)). I guess, you'll find his work computer there.

  I need to create a book. I did a master page with a page number, the text box and the header, made up of 65 pages in total.

  We need to see a screenshot of the page master and a document page, but it seems to me that you put the page marker in a primary text block. I don't think it will work. Markers must be in an ordinary setting which does not thread with something else. You can put other static text in the frame with the marker, however, if you wish.

• Text moves to the next image when the space is still ongoing

  I came across a situation of confusion while helping my colleague help out a folder that she worked on today. We have found a non-ideal workaround (essentially, reconstruction of the file), but I wanted to know if there was something we have neglected which would have allowed a faster, better the difficulty. In short, the problem was that the text would jump to the next section while he was still in the current space - when the image has been resized slightly, or when an image with jump object wrapping applied was added.   The text is composed of numbers, bullets, and then dashes, each with their own style. It seemed that the culprits were the styles of numbers and dashes (and the body text style on which they were based). I assumed the problem was Options of sequence, that has been enabled for these styles when it usually isn't. However, disable the keep Options in styles does not solve the problem. Even select all text directly and disabling of keep Options as it did not work. I have also excluded from these things, that everything looked normal:

  -Hidden characters

  -Before and after paragraph spacing

  -Align to the baseline

  -Jump training

  -Text block options

  I opened another, running the InDesign file that uses the same styles to use as a basis for comparison; When I copy / pasted a part of the text of the problem file into the right file, erratic jumps framework had disappeared. Similarly, when I copied the reference text in the file problem, she presented the same problem behavior. So there must be something in the style or preference within the document.

  After comparing the styles between the files, however, the only difference between them I could see was keep Options. And (as above) disabling of keep in styles or with all the selected text Options does not solve the problem. (It helped a little with dashes - still jump text, but less lines progressed than before.) Recording, close and then reopen the case did nothing. Later, as I was messing around after the fact just to see if I could find the problem, I completely deleted the relevant styles of the problem file and replaced by their counterparts in the file reference. Problem disappeared. So I finally find a solution preferable to a total rebuild, but the question remains: what else could be different between the two documents so that this error occurs? Is there any other thing in addition to what I have already mentioned? Or is it just something buggy file, styles or apply these styles to the text? Any idea would be appreciated, I would like to know for the future, in case we run into similar problems again.

  I'm converting a site office to a sensitive site. I have a master page and a page master B. Each page has several lines of text in the navigation links to internal pages. I started with a breakpoint of 1240; redesigned the page and made the footer nav 2 lines. Done the same breakpoint breakpoint 960 and 1024. In each breakpoint, the navigation footer text block is pinned and set to NONE when resizing. When I go to the next breakpoint of 770 I want to change the text of 3 lines. When I do this by placing a hard return, it makes OTHER breakpoints for the same three lines I want to change them. I have the tool text defined on only ONE FORMAT CURRENT breakpoint, but it still makes the others. Then the program gives me an error code: inconsistency of text stream in the block of text U1217 breakpoint 960 px. and then crashes. Even if I had 960 runs and I was about to stop 770, I get the error code for the 960.

  As a work around, I deleted the entire footer navigation links text box and tried to use only text plane, perhaps thinking that it has something to do with navigation. He continues to change the text in the other breakpoints. I tried this several times and I get the error code every time now. I had to go in a time machine to make progress yesterday because multiple versions of recovery were causing other issues.

  So at this point, all I want to do is change the two lines of type in three lines of type navigation text on 2 of the 5 stitches. Other breakpoints in 2 lines.

  I even deleted the page text block master B could have some elements tied to her Master A page to make sure. Still have the error code.

  All text in footers resize set to NONE.

  Hi Ben,

  While the Muse supports different formatting of text in all breakpoints, it does not support different structure/content of text through them. Returns and characters are part of the content and will be shared through breakpoints.

  Have you tried to hide the ball in the smallest breakpoint by changing its color to the [none] swatch?

  I have a problem.

  I am new to LiveCycle - and everything (except for periodic crashes and odd interface issues) has been great - but I have encountered in this serious problem:

  I can remove things from a text object, change the font, color, etc - but I can't change the text or add text no matter what I try. He's clearly still accessible by the program, not locked under the Edit menu and do not respond to right click - Edit text.

  Basically the text object could not move any expansion because the object contained a bunch of linefeed characters line (key) at the end of the text stream. By removing the line break characters the text object becomes editable.
