stir plate to connect to Labview

We would like to use Labview to measure, control, and record stir speed of a stir plate.  Is there a particular type of fuss plate which is known to be able to connect to Labview?

As a backdrop, we currently have a magnetic agitator Pro Digital MS - 7 Scilogex with a RS-232 port that we have connected to your computer with an NI USB-232/4 interface.  However, NI MAX was unable to acknowledge the existence of the plate from the bustle and the manufacturer doesn't know if the fuss plate is SCPI compliant so we are not sure if this fuss plate is able to connect to Labview.  Outside of Labview software recognizes, control and record the speed of the plate to stir Scilogex stir.

Thank you for your help.

  • How can I connect a Labview XY (cluster of 2 tables) TestStand 2010 SP1 chart and do appear correctly in the report?

Patterns of data record TestStand 2010 SP1 default shared this cluster in two tables stored as binary data, resulting in two graphs displayed in the report: one for data and one for X data Y. We need the elements X and Y, couples on the same graph. This cluster is marked for logging as a step output variable. It seems possible to add a table "PROP_XYGRAPH" (similar to the PROP_ANALOGWAVEFORM) to the schema to simplify the other treatment after the database record, but how can we get the Builder, to accept this type of data is displayed correctly? XY graphics come from LabVIEW 2013 SP1 exclusively as a cluster of two matrices, usually between 500 and 1,000 items long.

  • connect LabVIEW to PLC

    Hello

I try to connect LabVIEW to controller using an OPC server of NOR. Its a controller logix (Allen Bradley) L23E Compact and I find it difficult to obtain the device driver. Please help me with this topic and a link explaining how it would be useful to connect labVIEW to PLC.

    Thanks in advance,

    Sunil

    Hi Sunil,

Regarding the driver:  See the taken list supported device & driver plug-in for NOR-OPC Server

Regard to the connection in LabVIEW:  You have two main options that depend on the question of whether or not you have the LabVIEW DSC Module.  As seen here, you can either use variables shared with DSC to access your OPC tags, or you can simply use DataSocket VIs contact them directly as an OPC client.  Some documents that may be useful by adding your specific hardware can be found here and here.

    I hope this helps!

  • Circuit of Simulink connection to the controller of LABview

I try to use my LABview VI to control the switches in a Simulink model. I do not know how to accomplish this task, but right now I'm trying to establish a connection between the two.
    I have 2015 LABview and MATLAB 2011.
After googling how to connect a LabVIEW Simulink model, I found the following:

1 using the model Interface tool (MIT)

    2. using controls and Simulation tools to convert a LABVIEW Simulation Model

    1. I downloaded MIT and Veristrand and followed the steps in this link: http://zone.ni.com/reference/en-XX/help/374160A-01/vsmithelp/mit_convert_model_to_dll/
But I do not know where to go to from there.  Most of the tutorials I found using the SIT

    2. the Simulink components are not recognized in LABVIEW and are just empty boxes.

Question: What is the best way to connect with LABview Simulink model?

    Hello

This seems closely related to it.

The two methods can be used, but both methods require some considerations.

For the model interface Toolkit, you need to mind what are the features you use. Please take a look at this.

«In the Simulink software, you can convert models that use only a Solver step-size ordinary differential equation (ODE) in compiled templates fixed.» In addition, you must disable data logging in the application of Simulink software. »

Please refer to the following as well.

    http://zone.NI.com/reference/en-XX/help/374160B-01/vsmithelp/mit_convert_model_to_dll/

(is the one you linked, I just want to bring the model must be a dll to work with the model Interface Toolkit)

    http://forums.NI.com/T5/LabVIEW/importing-MATLAB-model-file-to-LabVIEW/TD-p/883625

(the message mentions the 'SIT', that is not the model Interface Toolkit)

The last of them brings something about the method of Simulation of design by control &: the model must be a mdl file so that the converter of Simulation Model work.

  • CompactRIO connected watch - lapping NI MAX but Labview can detect

I'm starting with a CompactRIO of programming. Yesterday, I had a lot of trouble getting just the CompactRIO to show to connect NI MAX, but now that it is connected to LabVIEW still can not find. In the window 'Add targets and devices' "CompactRIO real-time' folder '', even if NEITHER MAX poster shows the cRIO as"Connected-Running ". Any ideas on how I can make Labview see the cRIO?

I did reset the software and the installation of new software. I think the problem was that the cRIO ran to the wrong driver for my version of LabView. Now it works very well, and I finally managed to do read precise temperatures of an RTD measures.

  • Which driver should be used to connect HP 34401 using RS 232

    Hello

I'm using labview for the first time. I want to use the RS 232 cable to connect between Labview and HP 34401 multimeter. Which driver should be used for this purpose? Help, please.

    Thanks in advance!

A search for the HP 34401A on the Instrument Driver Network reveals this page, which should have what you need. If you're using LabVIEW, you will want one of the first two projects.

Also, for future reference, this board is for NI DMMs. For future instrument driver assistance, you will receive more timely and expert information on NI's Instrument Control forum.

Please let us know if you require any further assistance.

  • PXI-6229 + LabVIEW

    Hi all

I'm doing some tests with LabVIEW and I want to send the signal to analog voltage to a PXI-6229 (the chassis is an SMU-1071). I would like to know if I should add, in test programs I have, all controls to make the connection between Labview and the control. For example, to describe to which connector in the PXI-6229 cable is connected to (it has only connector 0 and 1)

    Thanks in advance,

    Francisco

Out of the actual analog channels and which connector they are, are defined by the task you created in MAX, the project or the VI. Somewhere, you specified ao0, ao1, etc. and the pxi slot number. No other information in addition to what you already have is necessary.

  • Use of LabView to solenoid in the gas system.

    Hello

First of all, I'm new to the LabView program don't know much this program but it can connect and control instrument.

Second, my Adviser want to move the manual system in an automatic system that control through LabView using

the temperature and the pressure is a trigger to open/close the solenoid valve. (starting with the solenoid valve 3-way 2-way and 1 2)

Third, this system starts from scratch; for now, I have an evaluation version of LabView 2010 for the test and temperature/pressure sensor in RS323

    which easily connect to LabView.

The problem is which module or equipment to connect the solenoid with LabView?

    THK.

I think that the Green wire solenoids ASCO is grounded.  Red and black are power.  If you use an AC solenoid, you can go from a solid state relay.  Static relay more require 3-32 VDC to a few my for the control and the control is isolated from the electrical circuit.  There are some DAQ with outputs digital equipment that can drive the input solid state relays.

  • Interface between LabVIEW and c#

    Hello

IAM trying to send data to Labview via ithernet in a product that already have in c# .net. This means that data send LabVIEW must be posted in c#. Thus the Labview will act as the server and the product in c# will be serving the customer. I have serached in the forums to make the connection between Labview and c#. I saw a tutorial to make dlls in labview, in what they explained to hold tools > Build Application or shared Library. But I can't find in my tools although I version2009 of professional development.

Can someone give me some instructions to send Labview data and display it in c#. IAM attaching the VI Server I made. The client in c# is a great product that has already done by others in c#. I have very less experience of programming in c#. Can someone give me some instructions or attach a few tutorials to make the connection between Labview and c#.

  • VI LabView for HP 4145: measurement of diode IV

    Hi all:

I'm new to the forum and also new to LabView. I searched the forum question I'll post and want to let people know in advance that I found no relevant response / concrete.

I want to use LabView 2015 to read data from an old HP 4145 B semiconductor parameter Analyzer connected to a probe station. I also have a GPIB interface OR to make the connection bewtween LabView and the HP 4145 B.

I would like to know if there are any VI available for the 2 terminals (in this case on the wafer diodes) so that I can order directly facilities of LabView and be able to read the measured data directly from the HP4145 through LabView? The data I want to represent are curved IV.

Best regards and thanks in advance for your support,

    George.

  • Transfer of files of arduino for Labview

    Hey.

I do my b.a. in Labview using an Arduino 2560. The arduino controls a temperature probe, with 16 pixels.
I made the connection with the microcontroller of the sensor, using I2C - bus. Arduino MI send via USB as a package of 16 bytes, that contains the temperature measurement.
I have a problem with how I should read the transfer of files in Labview string text to table.

I downloaded the Labview interface for arduino and have connection with Labview and arduino.

I have searched the Labview interface for arduino modules but can't seam to find a drive bytes.

The end result would be a graph of intensity which show temperature mearsurement.

  • TCP data labview n/b and c ++

    Hello

I am trying to establish connection TCP LABVIEW n/b and program C++. Server is established in C++, while the client is implemented in labview. Even if the connection is established with customer success and the b/w Server, both are unable to correctly understand send/receive data between them. For example if I want to send a send_array of type int to the server, I use the 'send' like that standard WINSOCK function:

    Send (AcceptSocket,(Char*) send_array, 129 * 4, 0);

but when this table was made by the client in labview, it shows unexpected values. As a customer, I used 'data simple client.vi' with a change as Envoy (129 * 4 bytes) data size has been set, only TCP read has been used.

Same problem exists if I send data from client to server.

    Kindly help me

    Best regards

It's probably a problem of edian big/small. If you use the flatten/Unflatten of string functions, you can specify which one to use.
