  There is no built-in feature to do this, but some choices include:

  My application connects to our server via SocketConnection. The server sends a set of strings formatting that contains the last trade funds. So whenever a new trade occurs, the server will send an individual Stock Quote of this profession. Through an InputStream, I am able to read this information and place each character in a StringBuffer which is referenced by the Threads. By char3 -based I am able to determine a set of stock quote/information.

  From what I see, when trades happen very quickly, the StringBuffer is not refreshed immediately and always has the contents of the previous trade, when I try to put new data.

  My Question is: How to synchronize the re-use of the stringbuffer and add new characters without next information being appended to the first content and blockages

  Then, you need not to use invokeLater. You're emptying the buffer on the floor area, and if the executable is not executed immediately before of you put more data, you will see the problem you are experiencing.

  What it looks like you want is a pattern of traditional consumer/producer here, that should work fine.

  If you use your search engine preferred to search 'widget scholarship', you will come to the top with a large number of results. If you develop a financial information site, however, you need to be very careful which widget you choose. I just looked at the terms of a free widget that comes up in the search results. It says "x.com may include links to third-party websites. Some of these sites may contain materials that are inaccurate, unlawful or objectionable. You agree that x.com will not be responsible for commercial activities or other activities that occur on a Web site, you access through links on x.com. "Choose the incorrect data source could destroy the reputation of your site. It would be preferable to opt for a paid service. However, even paid for the services do not necessarily provide a stock in real time.

  There is no Dreamweaver widget for the stock. Simply to assess third-party provider options yourself.

  Inthe iPhone user Guide, it says quotes may be delayed 20 minutes or more, according to the service reports:

  Follow the main exchanges and your stock portfolio, see the change in value over time and have news about the companies you are looking at.

  

  Manage your stock list. Press on .

  • Add an article: Press on . Enter a symbol, name of company, name of the Fund or index, then press search.

• AppleScript - quotes from removal of cells

  I need to remove the quotes of cells in number.

  Currently, I have a script that imports data from Yahoo Finance in numbers in a range of cells (for example b2:j8).

  Unfortunately, much of this data as of the dates & times that are imported are surrounded by double quotes ".» It is therefore impossible to manipulate the data in these cells (for example dates are imported in the format mm/dd/yy and I wish I could change it to the jj/mm/aa but because the format was imported as 'dd/mm/yy' column cannot be formatted into a date format).

  Also other cells that can contain text have quotes. Fortunately the data that contains numbers have no quotes.

  I've looked everywhere and can't find a script that would be able to remove the quotes of cells.

  Help would be really appreciated. Thank you.

  The script below will remove the first and last characters for the values in the cells 3 numbers.

  To use:

  1. Copy-paste in the Script Editor (in Applications > utilities)
  2. Select the cells of numbers with dates
  3. With the selected cells, lick the button 'run '.

  Because this changes the contents of the cells, best to test first on a copy of your data.

  BTW, you don't specify what version of numbers that you use.  If you use numbers 2, some changes will be necessary.

  And have you seen this thread on the use of API finance from Yahoo to retrieve data on stocks and place it in numbers?
