Hi, I installed a Windows update when my computer froze, so I turned it off and back on, now I can't even boot to the installtion disk supplied with the computer. When I hit F8 reapeatedly and select one of the available options, the computer contiually restarts and will not even go into safe mode. I tried hitting ctrl-alt-del, which brings me just for the system configuration menu. I even tried a software that is supposed to start any computer with any problem, and I get the same results I get with the installation CD. (Blue screen with error message: STOP 0x0000c1F5 (0x00000000, four times).) I can't do anything with it, can you help me!

System said it had to be downloaded an update for Windows Vista. Did the download, restart the computer and only get the blue screen of death. Restart the computer and you try to start safe mode do not work, the computer just restarts.
Hello
What is a blue screen C1F5 error? Windows 7? More often on Vista and I hope that the below
will help both. This, so you can see the bluescreens.
Windows Vista restarts automatically if your computer encounters an error that requires him to plant.

Blue screen on startup.
When I try to start my computer, it displays a blue screen, no matter what I boot (hard disk, safemode, Recovery Manager). It still crashes and I get this message:
"A problem has been detected and Windows has shut down to prevent damage to your computer.
If this is the first time you've seen this stop error message. Restart your computer. If this screen appears again. Follow these steps:
Check to make sure any new hardware or software is installed correctly. If this is a new installation ask your hardware manufacturer or software of windows updates you might need.
If problems continue, disable or remove any newly installed hardware or software. Disable the BIOS memory options such as the capture or the shading. If you need to use Safe Mode to remove or disable components, restart your computer, press F8 to select Advanced Startup Options, and then select Safe Mode.
Technical information:

I was installing Windows service pack 2 and when it closes nd community has started up, that's what I got.
Hi mot1on,
Welcome to the Forum of answers Windows Vista.
This problem can occur if the file $TxfLog of the file system is damaged. The Common Log File System (Clfs.sys) driver does not solve the $TxfLog file when the file is corrupted. In addition to the error message Stop Windows Vista does not start until the offending disk is removed or repaired.
To solve this problem the damaged file must be repaired. It is possible to boot from a Setup disk that has the ability to self heal this type of problem. This can be done with a Windows 7 Beta installation disc. To restore a volume of Windows Vista with the Stop error 0x0000C1F5 without data loss, perform the following steps:1. get a Windows 7 Beta or the later Windows 7 installation disk.
2. Insert the diskette in the floppy drive and boot from this drive to install Windows 7 Beta.
Note: Once started, cancel the installation of Windows7. Do not install Windows 7.
3. once the system has booted correctly, remove the installation of Windows 7 Beta disc and restart the computer from the hard disk.
Note: The installation of Windows 7 Beta disc includes autocicatrisant, code that resets the RM $TxF log file corrupted, so the problematic volume should be recovered by simply booting from the Windows 7 Beta installation disc.
