  At the end of 2015, I bought a 4th generation (32 GB) Apple TV and an iMac with OS X El Capitan 10.11.6

  When I try to reflect my screen FRO my iMac to the TV using Apple TV video (playing through VLC) is nervous and rambling. I talked to Apple Support and they conclude that video game through VLC was the problem and VLC should perform updates to the new Apple TV. I was told that Quicktime was the only guarantee program to watch the video through, but a lot of file formats I have are not compatible with Quicktime. I know that Quicktime converts the files now, but sometimes they take forever and some files won't convert. Apple Support guy told me to another way to convert the files, but I don't remember what he says now! I did the latest VLC and am finding it's really frustrating because it was the reason why I bought the Apple TV in the first place. Any suggestions on a faster way to work around this problem?   You can use converter like AVCHD Converter applications.
  This would convert AVCHD files to .avi format.

  But AFAIK the VLC Player should support the AVCHD file format and you could use VLC player to play movies recorded in this format.

  Go in the preferences, select the presets Hit "reset all develop factory settings." You probably accidentally set a default to develop for the 7 d. Also, make sure that you do not have a preset selected in the import dialog box.

  Maybe try to animate your Flash in the main Flash timeline. I don't know if it is possible to promote a MovieClip to the main timeline, but usually people want the animation to loop and it doesn't and it is because they have not animate in a MovieClip. They did it in the main Flash timeline.

  Download GeekBench and look over the results of tests to find out. Not enough information provided and without tests side by side of each configuration, it's almost an impossible question to answer definitively.

  The SSD used by Apple in a Mini 2012 is not necessarily the same brand and model from the one used in an iMac of 2015. Then there is a dual-core or quad-core i7 in the Mini. iMacs usually had the quad-core processors, I think.

• Can I use ACR to open the former Canon's RAW .tif files?

  I have been using my trusty Canon EOS 5 d with the. CR2 extension without any problem, but recently got a GREAT buy on a 1Ds used but mint condition.  These older cameras use a raw with the extension .tif file, I use a card reader to put them on my Mac.  Usually with the CR2 file it automatically opens them in ACR.  This will be the same with a file with a .tif extension?

  I know I could probably use a Canon software that comes with the camera, but I've always found ACR to be better.

  Yes, ACR reads most of the RAW (pass the path, the path of the return) files.

  Controls of the cab. TIF files to see if they are FIRST and opens them in ACR instead of using the normal TIFF code path.

  It is not useless space it used when the vmkernel is running out of RAM to the virtual machine - the best you can do is pool all the files from vswp on the same storage - but to share that this storage is shared by your hosts or you will not be able to vmotion.

• Bizzare!  LR does not load the NAVE (from D7000 or D700) files to import

  Strangest thing... shot some raw pictures using my D7000 last night, tried to import and looked at an empty screen import, IE: pictures not loading on the screen (LR 5.6).   Card reader is the job file and I could see the files in the Explorer Win, so I D/L the raw files in a folder on my hard drive.  Tried to import from there, same result-LR import screen is blank and no error message.   East went and got my CF card of my D700, who had already imported pictures - same result - nothing show.

  Then, scratching my head, I did the upgrade to 5.7, which I had just gotten around to do.   Sad to say, exactly the same result with SD cards and CF and no reading off the coast of the HD.

  It had worked fine 2 days ago... no other changes to the computer.  Any ideas?  There is no error of any sort, and the reader of card (s) - I tried two - show in Explorer.

  Your screenshot can't think yet no Destination selected in the right panel.

  Click the triangle next to the Destination, to spin it down and select a valid destination. I bet you will see your images.

  If this isn't the case, please post another cliché of screen showing the selected destination.
